👍👍 Fantastic class (tips below). They have guided instructions on the top of the mirrors in case you can't hear whats going on . Most of us are visual learners anyway! I kickboxed for a while and couldn't find a spot that really fit the bill in the US . Most places do pure boxing or have too many men... People often mention class, workout, great, time,

Fantastic class (tips below). They have guided instructions on the top of the mirrors in case you can't hear whats going on . Most of us are visual learners anyway! I kickboxed for a while and couldn't find a spot that really fit the bill in the US . Most places do pure boxing or have too many men . It was my first time at rumble and I booked it through ClassPass. They put me in spot #2 which I didn't mind at all , being in front motivated me even more, especially being next to two really driven women in spots 1&3 It was Rachel's first class teaching but she did a great job motivating everyone and helping you push through when the class is tough. Few tips: 1. Bring your own gloves and wraps if you have them (mine are in Chicago where I live). Otherwise you can buy a glove-like wrap and rent a glove for $15 total. 2. Don't eat anything before. Don't even eat anything 4 hours before. This class is tough and you WILL throw up like any other difficult classes 3. Bring water or Gatorade, you'll sweat a lot. Boxing is one of the most intense exercises as you can burn up to 800 cal in a really good session. This comes with listening to point #2 above - imagine eating then having a lot of liquid then boxing lol 😂 4. Come early! If you didn't like I did and got in on time , don't worry. They can use a flashlight to guide you in. I put my gloves on as the exercises started already 5. When boxing, try to use your hips and core more. I see a lot of people using just their arms and the teacher doesn't have time to teach you good form. The power (as most sports are) comes from your hips and core, it'll hurt more because these are muscles you don't often use. But you'll become a lot stronger and your hits are better 6. Goes to 6. . Take your time with the hits . There are different moves that are based on power eg hooks and upper cuts vs speed eg jabs. Regardless, try to work on your form and dont try to rush it. The key is to improve every time you go! More food , travel & lifestyle on Instagram : @midwestmunching

This place is AWESOME. A great workout for all skill levels. Energetic instructor with loud music really gets you in the zone. Very cool screens on all the walls showing you what moves you’re doing. The lockers have outlets and USB ports to charge your phone while in class. And you get to keep the wraps you’re given on your first class.

This will be a tad biased because I know Danny D. via the IG. He mentioned I should try it out. I can't say no to an invite so I made the trek from Jersey City to Philly today which I enjoyed, actually.. It's been a few years since I've hit the bag but putting the wraps back on my wrist felt good. Now, fast forward to the class itself. Danny's instructions were thorough from the beginning to the end of class. He's such a motivating/inspiring person that wants his clients to do their absolute best. That, in itself, pushed me even harder to do my absolute best even though it's been a few years since I've done a boxing combo and I was in some pain prior to the class. I never felt rushed, judged, shamed by Danny, which I am grateful. I will be coming back soon, hopefully bringing a friend along. Thank you, Danny G., for your motivation and inspiration. Because of you and your words, despite some pain, I'm determined to hit the bag more consistently and include the bag in my weekly workouts in NYC/NJ. Thanks again, Danny D.

Purchased a 5 class pack and attempted to book a class and was told there is no record of my package and would have to pay for a class! This is fraud and my bank is now involved!

I enjoyed my first Rumble class! Atmosphere: As a Philly native, I loved how the decor of the studio tied into defining elements of Philadelphia's culture and history! From the life-size Rocky Balboa statue to wall art that featured the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, you can tell how thoughtful Rumble was when designing this space to be both unique and nostalgic. There were plenty of lockers to use and a well-stocked women's locker room that had essentials for post-workout sessions. Workout Session: As my first workout class, I was surprised by how much can be packed into 45 minutes. Our large group rotated between bags and workout benches twice, which allowed us ample time and opportunity to work out different areas of our body. I also liked how the class began by reviewing the 6 different types of punches we would need to know before the class. If you forgot the form of a punch or dumbbell exercise, there were videos on the wall that acted as demonstration guides to keep you on track. I enjoyed this and the music that kept me on tempo with each set. Tips: I brought my own gloves and hand wraps, which allowed me to save some money. If you want to be a regular Rumble guest, I recommend investing in your own equipment to bring with you!

Pros: seriously great workout! Dripping sweat. Also lovely showers with Dry Bar products & drybar blow dryers. Cons: they make you buy wraps separately, you need to pay $3 to rent the gloves, and it’s Overall: great hiit workout

Facilities are nice, music is fun but the workout can be too fast paced. I tweaked my knee here (and I'm pretty active, I run, cycle, do barre and yoga and used to play sports in college). For the price I expected more instruction. Fun energy though!
