IF YOU WERE LOOKING FOR A SIGN TO VISIT THIS RESTAURANT, THIS IS IT. We assumed there would be a long wait because the reviews were so good, so we made online reservations which is extremely convenient for customers. We ended up getting there early and lucky for us, there wasn’t even a wait, so we were sat down immediately. The ambience is great and not crowded. The food came out extremely fast and fresh, and was DELICIOUS. Phoumin was our server and gave probably the best customer service we’ve ever had at a restaurant. He was also extremely knowledgeable, helping us with the menu and drinks. Do yourself a favor and order a house cocktail! They make the syrups in house and the Tiger Lily cocktail was DELICIOUS! If you’re new to Dim Sum, definitely order the Spicy Pork Soup dumplings. If you love a cold tripe salad like I do, order the Beef Lovers Quarrel because it was the perfect tripe salad without having too much lime in it. We go to dim sum restaurants a lot so we thought we would miss ordering off the push carts, but we didn’t miss them at all because the restaurant was less noisy and the food was still on the table quickly. If you want something besides dim sum, you definitely want the Dry Pepper Chicken, the chicken is cooked perfectly and has all the amazing flavor you want without too much overpowering spice. Our picky daughter was even obsessed with the food. I can’t say enough good things about this place.

We found this restaurant by chance near the Rittenhouse Square. We especially enjoyed the pork soup dumplings, pork buns, and the shrimp shumai. The food was delivered fast to our table and the staffs were friendly. The chili oil was more on the milder side, however definitely flavorful.

Love the place and food. Their veggie cantonese, dry hotpot with Tofu and Dry pepper Tofu with hot and sour soup. They have great lunch options and cheaper one. Hope interior could have been as good as university location. Food and taste is same but ambience is better at university one!

Delicious authentic Asian dumplings, the shrimp and chives ones were my absolute favorites. So many delicious dishes to choose from soup dumplings, scallion pancakes, Singapore mei fun, crispy spring rolls etc. Definitely give them a try.

This has become one of my favorite spots for take out during pandemic. Always tasty and the portion size lasts for 2 meals. My partner and I decided to dine in this time. The ambiance is very pleasant. We ordered a General Tso chicken and a chicken dry pot. The food was great as always.Taking 1 star down just because we felt that the prices have definitely gone up and we had a bit of an akward waiter. Would still recommend as a great spot with consistently tasty food and good service.

First time here & I just can't wait to come back. Atmosphere is very true, waiter was very nice, & the food was really really good! Best chicken fried rice with vegies I ever had. Duck was amazing and prices were reasonable. A must if your in the city.

Had a great time eating the food. Left to right: spicy pork soup dumplings, sizzling beef short rib, honey walnut shrimp, the Beef Lovers Quarrel (my favorite) and durian puff pastry. Sauce was kind of heavy on the sizzling beef and shrimp, but my girlfriend was fine with it.

Don't make the same mistake I did, Dim Sum seemed like a wonderful idea, until you find you order way too much. Each order contains 6 or more pieces, it's easy to want to sample many of the countless options here. After trying their lunch specials too, I can say confidently that the Dim sum here shines, heck it's in the name. Service was awesome here too.

The food here is fire and pretty legit. The only thing we haven’t really liked is the turnip cakes, which were deep fried. Never have had them like that. The long pepper beef, veggies, and dim sum aside from this have always been good. Pricey ($15-$20 a dish) but hey, it’s Rittenhouse.

Atmosphere: 1/1: clean, with Asian decorations and lots of natural light Service: 1/1: staff was nice, welcoming and very attentive Price: 1/1: Prices are average for dim sum restaurant Food: 1/2: Their Pork Soup Dumpling, roast pork bun and fried rice are a must eat! Their lychee martini was also well made. Their chicken & broccoli, honey vinegar spare ribs, sticky rice in banana leaf and pumpkin tarts are ok. Overall: 4/5: This place has really good food options with great service and prices. Try their fried rice, you won’t regret it!

We happened upon this restaurant when we were looking for dim sum. When we arrived we were greeted with a warm smile from the hostess and seated immediately. The food is prepared to order and comes out fresh and hot. They have by far, hands down, the best soup dumplings I've ever had. Paired with the fried rice, Mongolian Beef, Walnut Shrimp, and Scallion Pancakes we had a wonderful meal. We've come a few times since then and the food is consistently fantastic. I appreciate this from a restaurant. 10/10 would come everyday if I lived in the city.

Went for restaurant week and the portions were extremely generous. Everything was delicious, with the exception of the vegetable fried rice that was a bit bland. Tables were nicely spaced out which is helpful because of covid.

We absolutely love Dim Sum House! We've eaten in the restaurant and done take out several times. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. Perfect for a big group to eat family style or if you're looking for great take out (and plenty of leftovers). We love the general tsos chicken (get the dragon and phoenix if you want shrimp too). We also love the garlic eggplant and sesame soy brussels sprouts.

We had a group of 7 people today and were overall quite pleased with the service, the food, and the atmosphere. Generally, the food is good, though not everything was 100% authentic for us. We recommend the dumplings, shrimp shumais, pecking duck, and tofu skin. The hot and sour soup and the salt & pepper squid could have been better. Also, note that if you have a party of more than 5 people they automatically charge a 20% tip.

We recently visited this spot to try their dumplings. The staff greeted us warmly and were quite friendly. However, I noticed the cleanliness could be better – our table, for instance, was sticky. Our order included pan-fried beef dumplings, steamed vegetable dumplings, and dry pepper chicken served with white rice. The dumplings were decent, but the chicken was unfortunately too dry. As someone who enjoys Asian cuisine, I’d say this place is fairly average and didn’t particularly stand out to me as a favorite.

I would totally come back for their dim sum! The customer service was good and the restaurant had a nice ambience. I recommend the crystal shrimp dumplings and the chilli oil wantons. The pork soup dumplings were some of the best I’ve had out of all the American Chinese restaurants I’ve been to. I would steer clear from the egg tarts because those are pre-packaged and are microwaved before serving. As such, they are not crispy at all. When it came to our table, the tarts were flaccid. Thankfully the manager allowed us to replace it with another dim sum. I would’ve given this place 5 stars if not for the disappointing egg tart experience. Overall, I was happy to find this place, I liked our server a lot and the ambience was on point. I will recommend it to others for sure!

A more americanized form of dim sum. Bit more on the pricier side of things, but it was decent. Dumplings were good here though.

My experience at this location was average. The food was just okay. Highlights were the spicy chili wontons, brussel sprouts and the spicy pork dumplings. The Mongolian beef, chicken and mushroom dumplings and shrimp dumplings were just okay. The Mongolian beef wasn't supposed to be spicy but definitely had some kind of kick to it spice wise. There was no identifiable mushrooms in the chicken and mushroom dumplings. The spice chili wontons were good very tasty and the right amount of heat but they came out very quickly and were lukewarm at best. Server was nice.
