I’m so happy that during the visiting there was a butterfly lying on my dress and I was so amazed. they’re so adorable and beautiful in there; very friendly as well as vivid. I have to say that they are very energy and sometimes they’re lazy: they just make me feel so happy and thrilled. I love to interact with them and it was an amazing trip. I would love to visit there again when I’m free.

The butterflies were exquisite and very active! Also VERY LUCKY to see the Apostle Iris in bloom as the flowers only last 24hrs!

Definitely the best part of the Garden and worth the price of admission by itself. They have SO many butterflies in all shapes, sizes, and colors. The trees, plants, and flowers that are there to support the butterflies are pretty on their own me there are a few other critters on display. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I think the nearest part was all the cocoons and chrysalises they have on display and it makes snes that they are able to have so many butterflies because they keep producing them.

Nicely landscaped enclosed butterfly garden. When they suggest to take off your coats before entering, it's no joke--the temperature is near 80°F. (There are a set of unattended coat racks for your convenience.) Butterflies will land anywhere, even on visitors (part of the fun). Because of this, strollers are not permitted in the garden. There are mirrored airlock rooms before entering and when leaving to check for fugitive butterflies (endangered species). It also serves as a warm-up/cool-down spot for those with photographic equipment. The Butterfly Garden entrance building also serves as the entrance to the larger Hershey Gardens. There are restrooms on the lower level that can be reached by stairs or elevator.

This alone is worth the price of admission to the gardens. Warm, tropical building with butterflies everywhere. Don't forget to check yourself for hitchhikers before you leave!

Great experience, fun for people of all ages. Beautiful butterflies everywhere you look. Kid friendly, small but never feels crowded they limit how many enter at a time.

Smaller area than I expected, but numerous butterflies. Best part was they had just received 250 new 'butterflies' which were behind glass still in their chrysalis and we got to see three coming out while we were there. Very nice experience! Helpful guides to answer questions.

A great place to be totally immersed in butterflies. Can get crowded and can also get very hot inside, but still worth it to be surrounded by all the butterflies.

Absolutely beautiful. This was the highlight of our vacation. What a hidden gem. I took 117 pictures of butterflies from all over the world, a couple of snakes, tree frogs and a large tarantula. Seen alot of smiles.

My 4yo son loooooooves this place. We live two hours away and have already driven there three times in the summer. He loves all the butterflies and studies all the different characteristics about different varieties. After he comes back home, he would draw all the butterflies he saw there. Excellent educational place.

The Butterfy Atrium was nice, but small. I expected to see a monarch (none). BUT The ROSE Garden was AWESOME. The Fragrance & Colors was Very OVERWHELMING & Beautiful ❣️❣️

We went on an warm early November day, a nice escape from the park. Staff were super friendly, and the butterflies are worth the ticket cost, the beautiful gardens and amazing with lots of things for younger children to stay engaged.

Just lovely! Such a peaceful way to spend an afternoon - in a room full of butterflies! More than you could count and always on the move, you can spend any amount of time soaking it all in, and you still won't see them all. Completely immersive, and with knowledgeable staff to answer any questions, it was a perfectly relaxing experience. Highly recommend!

Amazing experience. As soon as I walked into the garden, I had a Blue Morpho butterfly land on my head 🦋. I was able to see a butterfly hatch from its cocoon and view amazing species of butterflies.

I went with my family and had a great time! I've never seen butterflies that big! The butterflies fly around and even land on you, but no intentional touching them.

Beautiful garden. I was able to get a few really good pictures. The butterfly atrium is wonderful. Make sure you're dressed appropriately because it is like a sauna in there.

Lush vegetation and numerous butterflies when it's cold and wet outside. You can also view butterfly and moth chrysalis, exotic insects, and a few reptiles & amphibians. Friendly staff explain facts about the inhabitants. Take time to enjoy the outdoor gardens and arboretum, too.

Great place to visit with a family. The gardens are beautiful. Enjoyed our visit here. We visited Halloween weekend. They did a fantastic job decorating and many fun events for children.

Lovely spot to visit. I was surprised how many roses were still in bloom at the gardens. We also saw lots of butterflies including a clear winged one. If you're a teacher bring your ID, they have a teacher's discount.

Beautiful self guided tour! Brief glimpse into the magical world of butterflies. These beautiful insects are on full display fluttering around you. Don't touch or try to get them to land on you. Just walk through and observe these colorful creatures.

A perfect activity with family and friends. It’s a relatively small area but filled with the most beautiful butterflies. The staff is super knowledgeable and excited to share details about them. I recommend going off peak times so there aren’t 20 screaming kids running around.

Very nice place to watch butterflies up close. There is staff on hand to share their knowledge of butterflies and to answer questions. We've been to many butterfly houses / sanctuaries. This is smaller than others we have visited, but it's not a stand alone attraction,, as it is part of Hershey Gardens and still worth visiting. I'd say we were there for almost 30 minutes, quite enjoyable.

I loved it. My fiancé and I went for Valentine's Day and all of the different exotic butterflies were beautiful they also have an area to watch chrysalis and the newly hatched butterflies/moths. Definitely a fun way to spend the day. They also have a reasonably priced gift shop which I was surprised by.
