We had a meal in the restaurant here. I was highly impressed. The service provided I haven't experienced for years. It was superb. The food was outstanding. I will definitely go back, and I live 50 miles away.

A fabulous restaurant. It's been a long time since I've had real restaurant service, the staff are a huge credit to the establishment. The food was exceptional but at very good prices. Treat yourself to a visit.

A welcoming place, certainly to dine - I didn't stay on this occasion. The staff were friendly, helpful and very efficient. There service was excellent and the food superb. The quite extensive menu made choices pleasantly difficult. What a setting, close to Port Meirion. The view from the dining room is magnificent.

Just lovely isn't it It's worth having lunch or dinner or whatever you call it...the food you have at noon. As you then get free entry into port meirion. Food was excellent, pork belly was delicious and deserts excellent. Excellent value for £30.

Had a wonderful lunch at the restaurant enjoying a main and a dessert, unfortunately the portions were a bit small on the monkfish tail but the rest of the group got decent size portions. Also it's a bit expensive as a main and a dessert will cost you close to 40 pounds but that will allow you to get an entry ticket to the peculiar tiny city next by which usually costs 18 pounds to enter.

We had Lunch here, which was very nice. I would say it's mainly used as a Wedding venue. The staff are really good and so was our food. This was part of a Whittles trip to Port Merrion, which was excellent. Thanks to our Driver Gaz.

Stopped for a three course lunch which was cooked to perfection and reasonable value at £30.00 per head. Very friendly staff and beautiful hotel grounds. Worth a visit but book in high season.

We ate dinner at the castell while staying in the village. The food is outstanding, traditional Welsh dishes with a modern take. The castell is a wonderfully grand space. Overall a delightful experience.

Came here for the 3-course lunch, which was absolute value at £30 per head as it also gives you free entry into Portmeirion. Food was delicious and would give this 4.5 stars if I could.

We had lunch at the Castell during a visit to the village in late November, so we were offered the Festive Menu. Everything was perfect. Service, quality, quantity were top notch. Finished the meal with a pot of tea in front of the log fire. We both felt it was the best turkey roast ever !
