Accommodation is excellent. Food is delicious. Staff make you feel welcome. Entertainment is brilliant and the in house entertainment staff are first class. The grounds are gorgeous and the garden tour with Eddie was well worth going on. I would recommend Bodelwyddan and intend to visit again.

Excellent stay, beautiful room with a fantastic setting. Food well above expectations, first 3 days we were served by β€œAnnie” who is a star, Warner you need to keep hold of her and promote her and use her to train others as the service once she was off was patchy at best. All Staff are helpful, drinks prices are fair, overall thoroughly recommend.

My friend and I went to visit the Hotel, as we are going to go for a few days in July. What a beautiful 🏰 and Gardens we saw. It is absolutely stunning. We also chatted with the team of gardeners who told us so much about the trees, plants and the work they are doing. What an amazing Team, and so dedicated, and loving their job. Such knowledge. Great Guys Cannot wait to go and stay. Awesome. Sorry cannot give Stars for Service and Rooms as Didn't see them, I am positive they are 100% as everything is Thank you..

This was my first visit to experience a Warner Holiday and "Boy! Did I Enjoy It". We had a garden lodge room which was modern, well equipped, clean, spacious and warm. The food was plentiful, hot and a good selection. The staff were helpful, friendly, professional and customer oriented. I can recommend paying the reasonable fee to have the VIP experience which was great not queuing at the bar for evening entertainment refreshments, and not to mention the entertainment. This was also very good high energy, varied, professional, friendly and well suited to the audience in all a great break and we would definitely come again.

Lovely 4 night break. We especially enjoyed the tour around the grounds with Graham, he was so interesting, his knowledge of the castle was vast. We loved the 60’s themed break. The staff were very helpful and pleasant.

Really enjoyed our 2 night break relaxing. We stayed in a garden lodge and it was big and lovely. Only main issue we had was the evening meal, is that you are rushed through it, which I had read on many reviews before we visited. We had a tour of the castle which was nice and loads of info on the castle from Shannon.

Lovely stay. Great room. More food than you could imagine. Very friendly staff. Lots to do. Entertainment every night. The 'musicals' show on Monday was outstanding. Caters mostly for a slightly older clientele. At least it was when we were there.

Wonderful hotel in a stunning setting. Everything kept clean & welcoming with a great entertainment team, ensuring that there was always something to do. Just one little issue with the cost & ordering of a bottle of wine with dinner. A bottle of ordinary run of the mill Savignon was Β£28! Luckily for us once ordered it never arrived so we never bothered again & saved Β£112 over our stay!!

Just spent a New Year's Break here and the stay was excellent. From the moment we arrived to the morning that we left the service was exceptional. The entertainment was first class. I would recommend paying to book your table in the entertainment lounge . I must single out Tyler our waiter in the restaurant.. Thank you for looking after us so well during our stay.

Nice place for a long weekend away. All adults of course. Well organised booking in system. Very accommodating of my needs in the dining room, plenty of room to get round the buffet in a wheelchair if needed. Entertainment was a bit mixed but the show team were really good.

Third time at this hotel, the staff are great and the food amazing. After returning after three years because of covid the only slight disappointment is that certain areas feel a bit tired and in need of sprucing up but nothing major. Would definitely return again.

Just ended a 4 night stay in a Garden Lodge. People enhance even the best surroundings and that includes staff as well as other visitors. This break has been so pleasant because of the couples we met enjoying shared moments and the staff who kept the place spotless and the service slick. Our waiter Dan catered for our dining choices with real knowledge of the menu dishes and understanding of our personal preferences. The lodge so ably prepared daily by Marianne overlooked a water fountain in one of two ornamental ponds with a backdrop of mature woods. The french windows meant the view was always there rain or shine.

Well worth the visit. Clean rooms. Well kept gardens. Polite and helpful staff. Meals are of good standard and menu varied per day. Location off the A55 provides ease of access to North Wales places of interest. All day activities, swimming pool, spa and sauna, etc, all clean and well maintained. Evening entertainment provided various music styles. Dancing encouraged.

Just visited this lovely hotel/Castle for the first time. Will definitely return. Excellent informative tour with Graham (thank you). Food and entertainment first class as we're the staff. Just one question how do you reserve a table in the entertainment area?

Excellent room great room service most of the staff were really good making the weekend experience even better. The meal service is a bit strange but that does not detract from the food which has been really good. Entertainment very good overall a truly lovely way to spend a weekend.

The staff collectively were really warm and welcoming (big shout out to Beth our waitress in the restaurant). The gardens are superb, although they could do with some extra investment, and we spent hours enjoying the views and noting names of some of the plants. Food was excellent and the new (for us) system of serving meals, rather than the previous free for all of self service, was great. The rooms are a little care worn and, again, need extra investment. Despite the slight criticism, I would happily recommend staying at the castle.

We had an amazing time. Lovely hotel and the lodge was beautiful. The food was very good....some of the young waiters and waitresses could really to with some training but they're doing their best. Also in the Spa, the actual treatments differ from what you receive, needs looking at. Other than that, a lovely long weekend.

The communal areas beautifully decorated, the staff were welcoming and attentive. Good selection of fresh fruit at breakfast (until last morning when the honeydew melon was inedible as hard skin left on). Cooked breakfast excellent (poached eggs just right). Evening carvey Lamb & Beef so tender but last evening parsnips dry & woody, roast potatoes had leather jackets! Please sort out your salt pots - ours empty othes don't work. Tables nicely decorated for 'Christmas Day' and 'New Year's Eve'. Disappointing evening entertainment. Comedian - seen much better. Tom Jones tribute - agree with other reviewer - scruffy & creepy - we left part way through. The resident entertainers worked hard. Early evening dancing for sequence dancers only. Swimming pool lovely and warm, enjoyed sauna. Insufficient male lockers - my husband told ''no more lockers, share with 'her'!'' Guided audio tour of grounds excellent. On our final evening a lady advised me that a lady was being sick in the toilet and that sickness was rife in the Hotel, four people in her group alone were ill. Warners are not responsible if a client brings it on site but as they have a duty of care to their clients an immediate warning should have been sent to each room, general announcements made and the relevant local Council department advised of the outbreak. Damage control should have been implemented to protect clients, staff and the wider community. Clients should have been advised of ways to stop the spread. On returning home were both struck down with the virus. We have both been bedridden and wiped out. Fore warned is fore armed. I hope you take this as constructive suggestions to ensure a safe environment for future holiday makers. If we hadn't been ill would have given it a 5 star rating.

Very disappointed with this place. You are treated as nothing more than a wallet on legs. Ridiculous levels of pricing on most things. The necessity to pay extra for a reasonable seat to see the shows is a complete rip off. They call it VIP tickets. Totally ridiculous. The activities are limited and therefore rarely available. No proper lounge area to relax or read. Considering the average age of the clientele there is insufficient disabled facility, including parking and toilets. Food is as expected, although the cooked breakfast was generally lukewarm or cold. Staff were doing their best but obviously badly led.

Just got home from a Turkey and Tinsel break at Bodelwyddan. Took my mum. What an amazing experience! Entertainment was amazing with something for everyone. Food was delicious and served by Claire who went over and above to assist diners. Louise on housekeeping for Lewellyn Hall again went over and above for her guests. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff however these two were exceptional. Would highly recommend this type of break and will certainly be going back.

3 night stay first night Angelletts brilliant Motown show. Saturday Russell Watson excellent. But disappointed to find seating had been on sale so on arrival to cabaret room all first floor seating had either Priority fair enough. The rest had reserved and clients names. We found to get seating we had to climb the stairs to the gallery. Very unsafe for my husband who has poor mobility. We were not made aware during our booking that these charges would be applied to seating. Sunday oh no not Call me again! Have now seen this show 3 times during October 22 and December 23.Twice at Bodelwyddan Castle. Entertainment team did their best but its not great. Poor badly fitting costumes. Enjoyed my time in the spa Leanne was lovely very professional and pleasant. Most of the staff were excellent. Excellent Reception staff.

What a stunning place this is! A castle with extensive grounds and incredible views. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Some rooms are in the castle and some in nearby buildings. We were in a building outside and had our own small patio area overlooking a lawn that filled with rabbits and squirrels at times. The swimming pool is lovely and warm and, most times, we had it to ourselves. The grounds are mostly level paths although the woodland walk is what you would expect. What we didn't expect were the amount of deer we came across - especially White Wally the albino deer!

I have just come back from a 4 night stay turkey and tinsel. I booked a Standard, Williams Village, Single, Lower Ground Floor, No Lift Access, Garden View. My room was absolutely lovely and the view over the field with the sheep was just magnificent. When I booked I didn't realise that my room wouldn't be in the main building of the hotel therefore there is a bit of a walk to the main building for meals and entertainment etc also with is been bad weather ie heavy rain this wasn't very pleasant. I didn't end up going for breakfast two mornings because it was too much of an effort with the bad weather. The staff were very friendly but seemed abit thin on the ground and the food from the buffet wasn't great. I would stay at Warners again as this is my third visit however I would choose to stay at a different one next time.

Our standard room was lovely and comfortable, we had fabulous views. My only gripe was no drawers and only 6 coat hangers, (we should have taken some ourselves) The food, staff and entertainment were great. The grounds were beautiful. Definitely worth going.

Enjoyed our weekend. Entertainers were very good. All staff were friendly and helpful. Food was great. Only negative was not enough places available in some activities provided. Could do with more lounge area's to socialise.

Amazing setting, so lovely to stay in such a historic place but also with modern amenities which are sensitively done. There are a lot of people with Warners, but plenty of space if you prefer that.

We booked a room for 4 nights. Room was spacious, clean, tidy and had everything that we needed. We were only a short step from the restaurant. Service in the restaurant was very good. The hotel offered a very good range of entertainment. Food was good and so were the drinks. Only slight let down was a young girl on reception who didn't seem to care. I would definitely return.

On our arrival we went to our room to discover that they've withdrawn some of the "Signature" package elements, this happened after we booked and paid extra for this package/ upgrade. Despite booking our Dining in advance. We had a 30 min wait whilst they cleared, cleaned and set a table for our party of 7. After which a table was made ready fir the remainder of our stay. Thanks to Helen one of the Managers, Head of Housekeeping Diane & Emily (& Milo) The Receptionist who was on Reception on our arrival wS very distant, too business- like, made no eye contact with us and referred us to the " welcome Pack" in response to questions. We were not told about Porter Service on arrival one of our party would have appreciated this Service had we been informed.

What can I say, its a great vacation. Everything I expected plus more. The attention to detail from the staff the moment you arrive till the moment you leave. The food is perfect. The entertainment great. Rooms are fantastic. If you want a relaxing but fun enjoyable break the it's the perfect setting.

Have been here several times and always great. Rooms, Entertainment. Facilities all very good. However one area I feel could be improved is they can only register one debit/credit card per room.

Lovely old castle with lots of grounds. First time at a Warner holidays destination and I will definitely be going again. Every member of staff were helpful and professional and had a smile for everyone. The room was lovely and clean. The food was excellent. Entertainment throughout the day and evening so you could just relax there for three days without getting in your car to go anywhere else if you didn't want to. All in all a lovely experience.

Beautiful setting and gardens. Lots to do all around. Staff very helpful and kind. Restaurant has declined since we were there in April. I do appreciate cuts have to be made in this climate but take and bake rolls do not keep and were stale. Beef was stringy and fatty. However, we really enjoyed our time there .

Amazing place, we stayed in one of the suites which was really nice. The entrainment was ok. But the food was great, daytime activity was good. And a really beautiful area and building. Def recommend for the older generation. Not a place for the younger adults tho.
