    Salons Direct send damaged goods! I was sent an item in an condition that shouldn't have left their warehouse in the first place. When I raised this with them and asked for a replacement or refund I was refused (I was happy to send the damaged item back, I was not looking for a freebie). Admittedly, I did not report within a 24hour window after receiving the item, I missed this rule which is my mistake being a first time buyer. I would have been happy to accept this but the fact is they shouldn't have sent an item out that was not in a presentable condition in the first place! The damage to the item was not something that could have happened in transit as the box was torn and it was as though something stuck on the box had been ripped off ruining the packaging. The damage was on both sides of this box, this is not something a packer would have missed, they chose to send it this way. I decided to leave an honest comment on the Instagram page as they are responsive on there. I decided to check the post about a week later and the comment had been deleted! They want to come across as perfect when that is far from the truth. They take no accountability and delete comments while responding and liking positive comments. Business is about dealing with all feedback including the bad, they need to take a look at their customer service and training for both their dispatch staff and those who run their social media accounts. Probably wont have a reply or resolution but its good for others to know.

    Brought a wax machine, sent it back approx 9 months later as ome side wasn't working, they sent me a replacement in January of this year, the same thing has happened again and they won't replace it because allegedly there's no warranty on the new machine as the warranty is on the old machine, which is out of warranty (obviously) surely a new warranty would start with the new machine? As I haven't got anywhere with them I will be reporting it to trading standards as I'm not sure that their policy is correct. So futher down the line I sent the wax machine back in October and still haven't heard anything(it's now December)so I rang today and was told exactly the same that the warranty doesn't stand, so trading standards here I come.

    Dpd “driver couldn’t find our shop “ & failed to deliver. I paid an extra £7 for next day delivery & you refuse to refund me after 25 years of loyal custom. Terrible at customer service nowadays! I had to buy from another supplier just to get the colour I ordered as client was coming that day! Come on salons direct you used to be great!😡

    Ordered some scissors 4 weeks ago and still haven’t received them. Called customer services multiple times and they keep saying they’ve been sent out despite no emails from any delivery companies. Got told today I’d receive a phone call to let me know the tracking situation but haven’t heard a thing back. Such a shame as ordering a new pair of scissors should be exciting but this experience has just made me stressed and disappointed.

    Ordered something online with payment confirmation with next day delivery for them to email me saying it was out of stock. However a colleague ordered his after me and will receive it. Will not use again. Stick to Chris n Sons or barber blades

    Ordered a number of items from SD and extremely happy with the order and swift delivery. The lady I spoke with was extremely helpful and a pleasure to speak with, good banter and explained the whole order, payment, etc. Will definitely be using again in the near future and highly recommend to all.     Very disappointing after sales. My backwash basin had a chunk out the sink and big crack to the back, I was told by the supervisor that as I hadn't checked it within 48hours they'll be charging me for the uplift. The manager David then questioned my reason for returning this and how much the company lose for collecting this and how they won't be able to resell with a new sink. I've not even taken the item out the box shown in pictures I'd sent yet the supervisor insuated the damage could've been caused by me. I contacted them within the 14 days returns policy and an uplift was booked then rescheduled. I've now waited a while for my refund and 10% of my order has been deducted for damaged goods that isn't my fault. Never had one apology and very poor after sales service

    My REM furniture is beautiful! There was a minor issue with one of my REM mirror badges put on upside down and REM were a bit of a nightmare admitting fault, but Ian from Salons Direct has been amazing. Took him a bit of persuasion to get them to admit it was down to REM but he got it all sorted for me. He totally had my back and the 5 stars is for him. Thanks so much for such awesome customer service you deserve 10 stars xxxx

    ACTUALLY WANTED TO GIVE MINUS STAR BUT TOO BAD THAT DONT EXIST SO 1 ⭐️ IT IS I will NEVER return to shop in this company again. had bad experience with salon direct for 3 times. 1 time they sent 1 item missing but didnt get back to my message. TWICE, I paid for the item online and when the delivery people lost the package, The company refused to resend or refund, saying they have to “investigate” and i have to wait until god know how long, even I already paid for the items. How is it my problem to deal with when the driver lost my package????? It’s clearly their problem not mine. All i know is i paid for it and it’s their job to deliver it to my hands. But never again. Very bad policy and bad customer service they have. Even I was regular customer but this is how they treat their customer

    When i had problems with my hot stone heater I purchased, salon direct were brilliant. I got a replacement very quickly. As a new small business this was a massive relive. Thank you Salon direct.
