Ryde is both a cafe and bicycle repair shop. It's situated on Mann Street inside the Northern Lights building which is part of the Brewery Village complex on the edge of Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle. It was previously in smaller premises in the brewery building but the new location gives it lots of extra space. There are lots of breakfast, brunch and lunch options, including veggie and vegan items. I had a cup of tea and a delicious slice of carrot cake. My friend made me jealous with his cheese and bacon toastie!

Whilst not being a fan of no table service, the food more than makes up for it. A well-priced, varied and tasty menu and even nicer surroundings. I've never felt more at home in a cafe! The oven baked breakfasts are served still bubbling, they look great and taste amazing. Looking forward to coming back already. Canadian tourist not included.

Cool quirky coffee shop with much more, great food and they know their coffee! Bike heaven.. with vintage bicycles hanging up on display, cycling tops, gear and accessories, and bike servicing. Atmosphere-Chilled out relaxing, and no need to be a cyclist just a great place to come and eat or get a coffee any time.Theres a seperate cosy section down a couple of steps with quiet seating areas, great for working on PC or cosy chat. Good for- Groups, singles, workbreaks.Winter warm inside,or sit and relax outside on warmer days.

Ryde café is located in a former warehouse which formed part of Cain’s brewery. I enquired about getting my bike fixed whilst I was here; they couldn’t fit me in on that day. However, aside from the bike repair service, the café is worth a visit if you want to meet other cycling enthusiasts. The café serves a range of coffees and other drinks. It also has a limited food menu. I found the vegetarian options most enticing. I have to say that I enjoyed my avocado toast with spicy chickpeas. I wasn’t so sure about the extra undecorated slices of toast, but the toast that had the filling on was fine. The service was reasonably quick and friendly. The best thing about this café was the atmosphere. The place was full and buzzing with all kinds of people. The fact that it is located in an “arts hub” meant that there was plenty to look at on the walls. There seemed to be quite a few events taking place and when I was there a local artist was just setting up her new gift shop. All in all, I would say that the café is definitely worth a visit but it might be worth checking ahead to see what events are on and calling in advance if you are thinking about getting your bike fixed.

Nice location, friendly staff and great range of food and drink. Prices are reasonable for the quality (get a dessert). There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. There was a little exhibition on the go when I visited which was pretty cool. Got a strong sense of community during my time there and would love to go back!

I used the bike shop service to fix my girlfriend's road bike. They did a fantastic job and in a short timeframe. The shop is bike friendly and the service is professional. I'll definitely be using their bicycle services again!

Always great coffee, food and cakes. Lovely staff too. The concept of a bicycle repair service and expert information within the cafe is great. When we were there it was a busy time for the bikes very interesting.

Went in for coffee as a half way stop over on bike ride. Bikes placed inside no problems. Log burner on always good. Coffee really nice. Quirky bike cafe. Will return.

It's a coffee / bike shop hybrid, hence the name that serves awesome coffee and tasty food. Great atmosphere and highly recommended for breakfast and brunch

Having had my bike worked on by the workshop at ryde I can state this is the most honest, reliable, welcoming and competent service I’ve experienced on Merseyside. I was called without ask to be given updates, I was assisted in choosing components and advised throughout. Turns out they’re honest and thorough people. My 15 year search for such a place is over . Thank you, Mocha’s there are also unbelievable and extremely well priced.

Sadly my cycling days are past, but I'm only sorry I can't give more than five stars for the quality of food and service in the cafe. A superb breakfast at an extremely reasonable price served by friendly and helpful staff. Brilliant!

🙌🏼 YES!!!!! Ryde gets ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!!! You must try the macaroni & cheese with chorizo!!!! Made fresh & piping hot!!! The portion is perfection!!! I am so happy i found this place! Great atmosphere and very friendly ppl!!! Easily could spend hours here! Came in at 9 am to beat the Saturday morning rush! There’s a market around the corner and a couple art centers on site! This is a Must See!!!!

Bike came back from a service without the disc brakes being checked and worn through, crank came loose and the rear hub was completely rusted up and gone and not looked at. Wouldn't take in again. I had been on a 100km ride when the crank nearly came off on a main road.

Too lazy, woke and flaky to make us a butty because their kitchen was going to close in 15 minutes. Only put one star to be able to post this. Used to be a regular customer for Saturday brunch. Was really forward to coming back since moving away. Crushing disappointment.

The coffee is quite weak and the veggie breakfast o got was okay. It wasn't mind-blowing. The avocado mash wasn't seasoned apart from chili flakes, the toast is just ok quality and the spinach was just not tasteful at all. It's just an okay place.

Dave has been fixing my bike for years now, he's both efficient and honest. Whether it's patching up tires, replacing wheel or fitting brakes, he's often been able to provide a solution to the problem at hand within the time it takes me to drink an excellent cup of coffee in the cafe.

Excellent service. Dropped in to get a sprocket fitted and had it sorted whilst I was there. I had a lovely cappuccino too whilst I waited. Highly recommended and will definitely be going again!

What a great place. We're staying just across the road and thought we'll pop in for a coffee as we're keen cyclists and being nosey. It's a lovely place and ask the staff are friendly. We went back the next day for breakfast... WOW! I had the scrambled eggs, it was the best I've had for a very long time. My friend had the full breakfast..WOW again.. we'll be back it's Fantastic! If you've not been in there your missing a trick and you don't have to be a cyclist to realise it.

Our go to coffee shop for the best Oat Milk Latte in Liverpool, actually make that the best Oak Milk Latte we've tried to date (and that's a lot of them)! The home made cakes are to die for too, all served up in a great atmosphere by attentive staff. Our favourite independent coffee shop in Liverpool
