Lovely
Authentic
Korean
Food!
This
Korean
takeaway
store
is
located
near
the
business
district
of
the
city
centre,
a
short
walk
from
James
Street
Train
Station.
This
Korean
takeaway
shop
got
a
much
needed
renovation
and
expansion
since
I
last
tried
(before
the
pandemic).
Previously,
there
wasn’t
any
seating
and
you
had
to
take
away
your
food
but
now
there
are
a
few
indoor
and
outdoor
seats
and
tables
to
eat
at
the
store.
With
the
expansion
there
was
also
a
change
on
the
menu,
sadly
the
Bibimbap,
Kimchi
Pancake
and
Tteokbokki
were
removed
which
were
my
go-to
favourites
when
I
visited.
This
was
quite
a
shock
to
me
and
I
know
I’ll
be
coming
less
because
of
this.
I
had
to
remove
a
star
because
of
this
but
it’s
just
my
personal
opinion.
Nevertheless,
the
food
is
still
great
and
is
still
cooked
by
the
아줌마
(auntie)
and
아줐히
(uncle)!
I
ordered
the
Mega
Chicken
which
costs
£7.70
for
dinner.
The
Mega
Chicken
is
cooked
in
their
homemade
sauce
which
tastes
sweet
and
slightly
spicy.
Overall,
the
food
is
still
great
and
the
prices
are
still
amazing
for
an
authentic
Korean
meal.
I’d
still
recommend
this
Korean
takeaway
to
others
despite
removing
some
traditional
Korean
dishes
off
their
menu.
