We booked online last minute as the pictures looked decent and it was the long weekend so rooms were scarce. We figured we would only be there to sleep anyway so it couldn't be that bad. Boy were we wrong. The room was absolutely disgusting. Bugs, hair under the blankets, horribly dirty bathroom, cockroaches and big gaps that show daylight through the doors. Just to name a few. Then after getting a room at a different place and talking the the locals they had some serious horror stories which I won't repeat as they may be rumors, but honestly I believe them myself. I can only speak on the experience my girlfriend and I have had. Which was a nightmare. Also the manager refused to give us a full refund. The place is a joke! DO NOT STAY HERE.

DO NOT STAY HERE. Worst experience!!! The room was disgusting and filthy. An oily film all over everything. The room stank like old cigarettes. Bed bugs and other little bugs all over the kitchen. People partying all the time and trying to break into rooms. When I checked out the owner refused to refund me $220 of a $400 pet fee I paid in advance. Traumatized me by yelling at me and calling me names when I asked him for my refund. I was in Penticton for a work contract and was supposed to stay there for 2 months but could not stay at this horrible place. Thankfully I found a suitable place to stay for the duration of my contract. Never did get my money back. The manager is not to be trusted and a completely shady individual.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS MOTEL! We checked in and it was dirty so I had brought my own sanitizer as I usually do when traveling and started wiping down everything in the “supposedly” cleaned room. The door handle & frame were filthy, kitchen handles needed wiping down from food on them, dirty plate sitting on top of the coffee maker, no forks in the utensil drawer, I could go on and on. This motel has no respect for our current Covid-19 pandemic or the customers they check in. When I went to the office to get a refund he flat out said “no refund” & “this is a budget motel, you get what you pay for”. Furthermore as I was storming out of the office mad, there was a guy huffing on an aerosol can outside our room in front of my car! We left. I had to give it a 1star review as it wouldn’t let me give a zero

Absolutely awful experience. Room wasn't clean when we arrived, had to do the bathroom just to use it... We were there 4 days, and no housekeeping done. Only positive in room was bed was comfortable. When addressed issues with the owner (?), he just shrugged. Gave 5 star for location as it is just down the road from Skaha Lake. The playground pictures are from that park, not this dirty motel. Not sure why lady on motorbike is on their website........the missing housekeeper?? As everywhere was booked, and we had been advised " no cancelation", we stayed there only to sleep

Just stayed at this motel for 3 days and had a great stay,really quiet and so wonderfully close to the beautiful beach,staff were very friendly.loved the kitchen, beautiful area,would go back for another little vacation on the future and yes this is a older motel so a little rough around the edges was expected.thanks all.see ya again I hope.

Please don’t stay in this motel , the Chinese owner asked my mom twice how much I’d be worth in beef. And that means he wanted to sell me. Stay far away !

I booked this motel because it was such a great price. I was nervous of the negative reviews but decided to take a chance. My boyfriend and I were so pleasantly surprised! We love the room! The owner, Walter accomodated our late night arrival and even upgraded our room to one with a kitchen at no extra charge. The bed was super comfortable and clean and Walter and his staff were very friendly and helpful. We are so happy with this cozy room, we will definitely return next year! Thanks Walter!

Came here the other day to visit someone. The rooms are obviously not well taken care of, counter tops falling apart, everything is just old and run down. This place definitely needs some investments for BASIC improvements. There was something shiny all over the walls and ceiling, like someone opened a bottle of champagne and it was never cleaned properly. Cobwebs everywhere, and there are definitely mice in the area. I will never book a room here. If the owners see this, I highly recommend investing in your property. Add some basic improvements and upkeep, and you could easily charge double per night and have happy customers.

Coming up for a memorial and booked a room here using booking. Com. Week before arrival I receive my credit card statement and was charged $$$$ on my credit card? Strange? Called to inquire and the manager started yelling at me, cancelled my reservation and then refused to refund $$$$ he charged. He then proceeds to charge more $$ to my card and refuses to refund that also. I had to call credit card company to cancel my credit card. I can only imagine what my stay might have been like!!!! Yikes!!!! Stay away!!!! And don't provide your credit card.

A short walk to the beach and an ok air conditioner are the best features of this motel. The bathroom was a bit grimy, towel rack was falling off the wall, and the tub drain was in serious need of a snaking. The office was unattended the majority of the time and during my 3 day stay the room was never refreshed nor did towels get swapped. I had trouble sleeping as the bed was really loud anytime I shifted.

The owner of the place is ruddest person I have ever met. Therewas a bedbug investation. Feces in walls. Sticks like agressive urine, old man. The owner especially when we complained got extremely aggitated and cursing in asian. Hes a loud mouth fool who needs to put in his place. Mothballs and urine combination that too much. Never come here ever. Stay in your car because this place is trash!!!!
