We were guests at a Wedding here and were pleasantly surprised by the wonderful food and service. Photos attached. We returned for lunch last week and were treated to a very enjoyable Seafood lunch. Highly recommended!

Stopped for a lunch around 2:30pm. Got a table to the river side. Great view of the river from the table while you enjoy your lunch. Plenty of vegetarian options and great taste. Ordered catch of the day served with rice and Thai curry. And Kin Kin mushroom gnocchi

So good! We watched the sunset from the sunset bar upstairs and then had dinner downstairs. Food and cocktails were delicious, service was great, we had a lovely time.

The Boathouse sits out on the river with lovely views. Service is quick and friendly. We chose the set lunch menu 2 courses and glass of wine for $46 - great value. I started with Bresaola with figs and cheese - delicious combination. Then the Barramundi, chips and salad, beautifully cooked and the salad was crisp and fresh, all washed down with a tasty chilled Sangiovese. My partner had the beef cheek and mash, that was a little undercooked for her, but she enjoyed it. She also had the lemon curd with a crunchy crumb - delicious. Excellent location, good food and value. Recommended for a pleasant lunch. Cost $92 for two.

The Boathouse has a lovely atmosphere. We had a table looking across the river. The staff were lovely and friendly. We ordered the Feast -4 course share meal. The food was beautifully presented and tasted wonderful, the wait between each course was well timed. It was a lovely way to celebrate my birthday. Check out the website for more info.

Attended a wedding at the Sunset Bar on the Boathouse. Fantastic views, service was great, food was absolutely amazing. Great little place with decent sized bar and great vibe.

Loved the atmosphere on a beautiful Friday night. The kids enjoyed the sandy area, with some splashing in the water. Live music was beautiful and we enjoyed fish and chips on the lawn while the sun set. Would go again.

At busy times the take away area cannot handle volume and mistakes are made. Placed an order, it was taken down wrong so when fish arrived 30 minutes later, had to repay for chips and then was placed at back of queue. 2 large chips took another 40 minutes and fish was cold by the time the order was corrected. The food was made well but I will not be returning as the service and it’s in the queue attitude has put me off. If you stuff up and order, the items required to fix the Oder should be placed in front of queue. Simple customer service

Nice spot for a casual lunch. Don’t expect too much. The food tasted like it was cooked straight out the fridge and then reheated. Unfortunately most the flavours just didn’t work together. Heirloom tomatoes salad was good, goats cheese was fresh. The steak was grey - we were not charged for the steak which was greatly appreciated. Service was prompt and good. Cocktail list is extensive. The highlight was definitely the sticky date pudding, however even this could’ve been more moist and a large serving of ice cream seeing as it was to be shared.

Beautiful location and amazing menu. Dropped in for something simple and ordered the fish & chips with a side of ciabatta bread…Don’t miss the upstairs bar for the view at Sunset 😱

Lovely restaurant to visit, good location plenty of parking and nice to look at. Staff were lovely as was the service. I got the $74/PP shared set menu The food wasn’t what I expected some dishes were made cheaply/rushed and weren’t too nice on the pallet, very disappointed as I got “A” scallop and it was barley bigger than my little thumb nail and was chewy:( I do however recommend the short rib as a main- had to be the highlight of the night. Would go back for only that. Nice atmosphere.

We attended a wedding here and it was incredible from start to finish. Staff were great, food was delicious, atmosphere was fun and inviting. Loved it. Make sure you have an espresso martini too.

Sadly, our bellies were still full from a late breakfast when we arrived, so we only ordered small meals. From the moment we arrived, to the time we left, the service was fantastic. Our meals were delicious and the restaurant wasn't overcrowded, meaning a good atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.

We only had the takeaway fish and chips on the grassed area, while watching live music put on by the boathouse, however found the food fresh and extremely tasty and they pumped out the orders so quickly considering the number of people. The vibe was awesome, so many people and families sitting by the river on a warm evening listening to live music and chatting to friends while the kids ran around. It was awesome and I would highly recommend it to anyone but especially those with kids. Grab a few friends and set yourself up there for the evening. Would love to head back one day and try the dine in option!

Super enjoyable lunch on the river. The upstairs bar is modern and offers great views. 300g of Mooloolaba prawns was to die for - super fresh and giant prawns. The charcuterie board starter was also delicious but could’ve offered more variety in terms of paste / Patè to accompany the meats / olives - perhaps something sweet like a chutney to balance salty flavours. The Nduja was delicious nonetheless. My partner opted for the Barramundi with papaya salad and enjoyed it. The cocktails were also decent, though the Bloody Mary garnishing was a little OTT. It had practically a second charcuterie board on the cocktail stick and looked ever so slightly childish (see photos). Overall though we enjoyed the lunch and have plans to return for the 2 person seafood lunch which I think is around 180$. Seems like a bargain as our bill was much higher than that anyway with just two mains.

As a local this is one of our faves. From coffee in the morning, drinks & nibbles in the Sunset Bar to some delicious dining downstairs. An awesome location with magic, ever changing views & a friendly team.

Absolutely gorgeous experience. The staff were so pleasant and professional. The food was delicious, the fish was so fresh it melted in my mouth. Evidently the burger was very good.
