⭐⭐⭐FULL ON 6 STAR FUN!⭐⭐⭐ If I could give more stars I would. This place is the model of entertainment, fun, great customer service, just everything you want from a brilliant night out!! I had the pleasure of going through the 'Templar Room' on the hardest difficulty, and only just made it out with 4 minutes to spare. 4 adults, average age 34, combined average IQ of 110, 2 guys 2 girls, variety of professions. This room was perfectly balanced!!! We raced through the obvious puzzles, cautiously stepped through the tricky ones, got held up and frustrated at the hard ones, and best of all spent a solid 12 minutes staring at a wall trying to figure out why we couldn't open 'the thing' that seemed so obvious ( and it really was obvious once we figured it out, it even has instructions xD ), we had to use one clue. This is the greatest escape room I have been to in a long while. The customer service is amazing! The staff are friendly, cheerful (but in the genuine way, not the tacky way), knowledgeable, and just down right helpful. At the end of our adventure we were up- sold some of the other options and told of some interesting stories about the fastest times in the Templar room. All round GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I originally wrote a less than favorable review after my first trip through Eclipse's escape room and, although they contacted me and about it, I think they are just genuinely amazing people. I have left the original review here because it shows the mistake was clearly on my part, having selected a room that was not sufficiently difficult and not speaking up about the problem. I stand by my statement that the easy rooms would be good for teen birthdays, but I also now think the hardest rooms would be amazing for adult birthdays! ** original review below, so you can see where I went wrong ** It was okay, but kinda meh 😕 ⭐Overly simple, with a nice atmosphere 🌜⭐ This place did not really feel like an escape Room, in the traditional sense, as it was more a case of just run around and grab all the things that were not tied down and then read them out loud. No real challenge unfortunately ☕ Would be good for young kids, maybe even teen birthday parties, as you don't need a lot of focus or a long attention span for each "puzzle"🥳 But, if you're looking for clever riddles or genuinely interesting and difficult challenges, look elsewhere, as this is just very simple, very easy, little gathering the parts and reading them aloud type puzzles. Had a very average time overall. The room was well decorated and almost fun, but we left feeling letdown. The "one hour booking" was completed in 20 minutes. We expected to have either another room, or some other form of entertainment to fill some time, but instead were just shuffled out the door. Which very much made us feel like we were being punished for completing the challenge quickly, rather than rewarding our efforts. Genuine disappointment 💔 Won't go back 😓 **edit** I was contacted regarding this review and offered a do-over. It seems we may have been given an overly simple room intentionally and this may not accurately reflect the average experience. I will give a 3rd star simply for the effort of contacting me, and update this review after the next visit. ** end of original review ** Just one last thing, if you're reading the reviews trying to decide whether or not to try Eclipse, remember this: 1 star reviews should be reserved for "worst possible scenario" like the roof catching fire. If you see one star reviews without a darn good reason, you know that person just couldn't figure out how to escape but doesn't want to admit it. XD You will have a great time here! it's a solid 5 out of 5 stars even if the thing in the corner says it's only 4.9 out of 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This place was super fun! I will go back, if they let me :)

There are plenty of escape rooms on the Gold coast. My family enjoy doing these and looked through what was on offer. We decided to try Eclipse Escape as it had what looked like a very family friendly escape room "Magic Moonstone". We were ushered into what was the biggest and one of the most fun escape rooms we've ever played. We enjoyed it so much we went back a day later to do "Blackwood Manor". Both rooms were great, had excellent surprises and if we had more time we would have done more! Thank you

Attended a work team event at Eclipse today and had a tonne of fun. We did the Magic Moonstone room and got to run around finding clues, waving magic wands, yelling out magic spells and so much more. Best for groups of 4 to 6. We had a group of 8 and it got a bit challenging for all of us to participate, but we still had fun watching our team try to figure out the clues. Best parking is underneath at Secure Parking - Chevron Renaissance Car Park. And easiest way to find it (because GPS took me around in circles) is across from Infinity and upstairs 😊

We’ve now completed all the rooms at Eclipse and have loved all of them - definitely the best rooms on the Gold Coast. Great themes, great staging, and well constructed puzzles. Every room was an incredible experience.

By far my favourite escape room that’s on the Gold Coast. This amazing group of people have created something seriously amazing here and I love each and everyone. I can’t wait for the new room to come out the flaming Pearl is coming out at Christmas and I’m waiting on bated breath. 5 stars

Really fun time ! 3 of us did the Retro horror room. Was a great mix of puzzles /practical effects with a few genuine scares. Awesome for horror fans. Friendly /helpful lad working there. Would recommend for something fun/different 100%.

Great rooms, with fun unique puzzles and a cool atmosphere. Rain was super friendly and accommodating even when we were running late. Definitely would come back again to try the other rooms!

Such a great experience. We did the Blackwood manor room and had a blast. Such a good range of difficulty in the puzzles and was all around an amazing experience. Would definitely come back and do the other rooms.

We completed the Magic Moonstone room which was awesome. There were loads of puzzles and the theming was great. We were actually running a bit late but Eclipse were great. Emily our game host was awesome and we really enjoyed the experience.

Four of us did the Knight's Templar room and it was amazing! Great puzzles that certainly made us think! The Eclipse team are great to deal with. We can't wait to come back to complete the other rooms!

I have just completed the Magic Moonstone room with my family and have to say it exceeded all of our expectations. It is by far the best room we have ever done. The attention to detail is exceptional, which enabled us to be totally immersed in this enchanting experience. Super friendly and helpful staff too. Will most definitely return!

Amy was so helpful with a few little hints when we needed it but never made it too easy! We had a great time in the Nights Templar. We choose the medium version as we are a bit new to escape rooms but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!!

The staff were so passionate and enthusiastic, which made our experience that much more fun. The rooms are very creative. The Retro room was a favourite! Would absolutely go again!

Have tried many different escape rooms across Brisbane and Gold Coast and Eclipse rooms are some of my favourite. Have tried Knights Templar, Magic Moonstone and Retro Revenge.. each room was unique with a good flow and fun puzzles. Highly recommend Eclipse!

My 14 year old & I did the Moonstone room & had a lot of fun. It was achievable for our abilities, & a very big space. We are back again with my eldest to do Retro. It was very expensive the first time due to a minimum room charge. But with the 2 adults & a child this time, it seems to be the cheapest in Gold Coast (because child is charged as a child this time, but as an adult last time).

AMAZING! I cannot emphasize enough how much we loved playing these games. My partner and I travelled down from the coast to do some escape rooms and we came in to try out one game - started with the Knights Templar and we ended up doing all four games in one day. Knights Templar was such a different theme than what we had expected and we were not disappointed, everything was so beautifully themed and decorated, and it twisted in a way that we weren't expecting! Blackwood Manor was just the right amount of creepy and sinister, challenging but very logical puzzles, nothing didn't make sense. We had things that we needed help on but it made sense immediately when they explained! Loved the occult sort of theming to this room, really amped up the horror vibes! Retro Gamer was probably our favourite just for the nostalgia! So 90's, it really reached into the inner nerd for my partner and I! We loved it and it was beautifully done with a nice twist ending! Magic Moonstone - This has got to be the most beautiful room I have seen. So much work has gone into making this (and all the games) so thematically pleasing. Overall, what struck me most about these games was their beauty and how well their puzzles fit into the themes. Some games can be just throwing a random puzzle in to follow the pattern but Eclipse's designer has put so much thought into the design to make everything in these games make sense and fit. We loved every game and can't wait for the new one to open. Thank you so much for having us and spending so much time with us after to chat shop!

We have now completed THREE rooms here and they have all been amazing! We have completed Blackwood Manor, Retro Revenge And Magic Moonstone. They were all challenging and we really enjoyed it. We took our 3 children aged 6, 6 and 10 to Magic Moonstone as they love all things magic and enchanting and they absolutely loved it! It was not scary at all and there was a lot of clues they were able to find and help with. I give 5 stars for Eclipse Escape because the rooms are well thought out, all rooms have challenges that really make you think outside the box, all of the staff have been amazing, the owner is lovey and every time we have been there she has taken the time to talk to us and and we have built a great report. We have been to many escape rooms between Gold Coast and Brisbane and Eclipse Escape is our favourite so far!
