This is my favourite Italian restaurant in Brisbane and I’ve tried many. The oysters mornay are fabulous and the creamy fettuccine al pollo is incredible. The food and service is always great and consistent. I’ve never had a disappointing time here. I also came here on Valentine’s Day and they took a free Polaroid of us!

The decor and the ambiance was really interesting - giving an authentic and homely feeling. Food that we ordered which were two pastas were good and quaint - still need to cover a lot more from the menu so I think I’ll need to come back. Slightly dark inside but the outdoor seating looked pretty cute.

This place was amazing! The decor is just beautiful, I would love to see it at night! The food was delicious, fresh & very tasty. Staff were very attentive and the service impeccable. They made special effort for my son on his birthday which was very unexpected and appreciated. I cant wait to return and try some more dishes.

Great dining experience with friendly staff. Love their dessert choices. The Marinara pasta is a bit too salty.

Superb Italian restaurant. Great food and rich in flavour, great service, quaint traditional Italian vibe, reasonably priced and friendly staff. I will return for sure. Among the cocktails, the Negrini was very strong to my taste and felt less like a cocktail. I will not try it again.

Genuinely had such a great experience here! We had 3 courses and enjoyed every single meal. The service was great and the whole environment was lovely. We will recommend this place to friends for sure

A slice of Italy in Brisbane! The decor and location is so cosy. The waiter who greeted us also has great humour and added to the impeccable vibes of the restaurant. We ordered the marinara pasta (of course) and the nepolitana pizza, with a side of garlic bread. Pasta was ON POINT. So saucy, flavourful and comforting. Good amount of seafood as well. Don't forget to ask for pepper 😉 We left laughing with our bellies full. Will definitely be coming back in future!

Enjoyed an awesome evening here for my work Christmas party. Food was outstanding. Service was great especially considering the restaurant was full and our party was 30+ people. Restaurant is a cosy space. Was tricky dressing 30 of us but they have some lovely large tables. Would definitely eat here again! I enjoyed the seafood risotto and I honestly have never had so much seafood in a single risotto. It was so very generous. I lost count at 10 prawns...... plus the rest! Large serving too so I took home a doggy bag. Thank you amazing team!

Only had coffee and cake, very delicious amaretto cheese cake. Looking around, the meals look good and also good size servings. Will be back to try the Italian meals.

The food and atmosphere was really great however when I first booked a table for two inside the restaurant we were given a table next door to what seemed like a cabinet room of a shop… as we were celebrating something special we wanted a different table in the actual restaurant so we asked the staff to change our seats and they complied which was great. Otherwise the atmosphere was lively and food was delicious 😊

I came here for my Birthday and I could not reccomend it more - service has been excellent, food has been to die for, and even sat facing away from the interior the atmosphere was really pleasant. I'll be a returning customer for sure 🌟

We had the best meal here! Amazing food, fantastic ambience and perfect service, especially from our waitress Jen. They even provided a complimentary cake for mother-in-law's birthday. We're excited to make rare gem our new regular!

I love the atmosphere. The food was good but not crazy good. Definitely tasty though. I think the only problem was the waitress asking desert menu 3 times right after we finish our meals. We really needed some time to digest and start thinking about the desert. We spend 220 dolars for 2 people so I dont think we were stingy when it comes to ordering. So that kind of attitude devaluates the beauty of the place. Overall, it was worthed.

Absolutely love the pasta and risotto! We got the risotto funghi and the fettuccine marinara, sauces are very well done with generous amount of ingredients! Also tried the lasagne and meat lovers pizza which were good but we thought they werent as outstanding as the fettucine and risotto. Overall a very lovely and chill place, and make sure to book because they can get really busy!

We ordered the Don Carlos pasta and Garlic pizza bread. Both were fantastic and the atmosphere was pleasant. It looks like they've opened it up a bit more as it appears to have more room.

Not the cheapest, though reasonably priced for the quality. The food is divine, the desserts are decadent, the cocktails are perfection and the service is amazing! Our server Richard made our afternoon and attended to all our requests without complaint! I can’t wait to return for the next special occasion!

Cosy on a cold night with a friendly atmosphere. We arrived early evening and probably should have booked but they kindly squeezed us in. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A more European approach with lots of choices and options. My son's lasagna was great and my mushroom risotto was lovely. The coffee was good and the dessert choices were varied. Would definitely return with a large or small group and family. Really enjoyed it.

One of the best/authentic Italian food I've tried ever with generous portion sizes and great cocktails!

Had a nice lunch there, it was a bit quiet on a Monday but we don't mind that at all. The prawn salad and the Marinara were very nice, service was excellent but I didn't really like the coffee.

After many recommendations from colleagues, I decided to try Marinara on a fine Sunday afternoon. Greeted by friendly staff and a great layout that feels like a sneak peak and step into Italy. The menu has a fine selection of starters, pizzas and pastas at decent prices compared to other Italian restaurants. I ordered the Fettuccine Carbonara and the Margherita Pizza which came out and onto our table within minutes. The creamy texture is considered, personally, one of the best I've tasted in a while with flavours all captured and enough cheese to make me smile. Would have loved to see more mushrooms (mushroom lover here); however, definitely understandable if supply issues and rising costs are a factor. The pizza was fresh and full of cheesy goodness, crispy and delicious until the very last piece. Overall, extremely good and fast service with friendly staff. Food portions were perfect and had a great lunch. Definitely recommend for families are friends wanting to catch up over a delicious Italian meal.

The food was absolutely delicious! the kind made full of love. I went for a suprise birthday dinner, and the sweet staff suprised me with this. The service was amazing. All staff were super friendly and had great recommendations. Can't wait to come back!

Greate experience. I had a delicious seafood risotto and a margherita pizza. Both were great taste and texture. It wasn't too salty and sweet. Just fit to my taste. I enjoyed the unique atmosphere there. I took photos multiple times. Staff were really friendly and impressed with giant pepper bottle haha..I had great time with my friend. I will definitely go back there one day.

Super busy place, we almost didnt get a table for lunch on midday, So Book in advance!! Food Super good, i believe we were receipt and attenede by the owner or manager, who was very friendly. only down was no Tap beer.

Great food, very cosy location. Senior waiter staff was quite helpful. We have tried pizzas, pastas and some seafood. Seems like we all will be back :)

5 stars, not only is the food amazing. Tony always makes the place fun!! This man is always a joy even through covid lock down when I was getting take away. This guy is the man!!

We went to this cosy restaurant last night for my sister’s birthday. The food was great, the service and place was awesome, and my kids and I had a great time. I want to especially thank Tony for his great service and the attention he gave my kids 9 and 11. They think “Tony is super cool and funny and we need more hosts like him” Thank you so much and we will be back soon 😍

Chili shrimp pizza and bread before meals are very delicious. The mussels on the entry were delicious.

Amazing food, very accommodating - they are happy to accommodate for birthdays as well. Food didn't take too long but wasn't super fast (which is perfect). Amazing and extremely friendly staff. Highly recommended!
