I wish I could give you five star. Your staff were polite, attentive and lovely. The venue is magic. The meals were hot and the pizza as described. I loved my pasta, however there were no more than three prawns in a $29 pasta which was disappointing. The taste of the meal was great however. I expected 4-5 big prawns from the menu description not three small prawns in pieces. Please either reconsider the serving size of prawns or change the menu description to lead with the feature ingredient, which really was cherry tomato. I will definitely come again 😀🙏🏻

Called into Stanton Brasserie on two occasions while visiting Brisbane from Cairns, first visit on 06/09/21 & again on 08/09/21 & each time impressed with the waitress service & excellent menu selection to choose from at reasonable prices. The food was well cooked & excellent presentation with meals served within 15-20 minutes. Fantastic views from the top terrace area looking up towards Queen St & Queen St Mall. Highly recommend a visit for a delicious meal & drinks.

Updated - Had the avocado crush on sourdough with scrambled eggs. Delicious and beautifully presented! 🥑🍞🍳 Abeautiful brasserie, definitely has the European vibe to it. Perfect place for brunch or lunch while soaking in the Queen St vibe from above. The steak was good, just a tad more medium than medium rare. Lovely, attentive and fantastic service from all staff, from the moment I was greeted at the door to payment. Will come back for more, happy hour and the cakes!

This hidden gem is a perfect place to take a business lunch at! A well rounded menu, excellent cheffing and fast meal delivery are all hallmarks of Stanton. The environment was great for a conversation and the space is airy out to the Queen St Mall. The staff were excellent! So unobtrusive and professional. I would highly recommend this venue!

Found Stanton's by chance, after we had given up waiting for half an hour for a table at another venue, and so glad we did. We were seated straight away and the staff were very professional and attentive. There's a charming, old school ambience, and a lovely roof terrace which overlooks the mall. We had a late breakfast, and tried the Stanton's big breakfast, the mushroom medley and the green breakfast. All were very good although the green breakfast could have been a tad larger. Coffee was also quite good. Very good for coffee, breakfast or lunch stop.

Fantastic “”classic “ good style. On day of visit menus was limited. But good. The staff are what makes this eatery stand out. They are of international “ French” standard. A joy to observe in action. The venue is enjoyable with outdoor seating available. Just go and relax for a few hours escaping the city buss.

Edited: Not really sure what happened to this place. Waited a long time being seated, served then again ages to pay the bill. Not to mention the manager outright ignoring us wanting to pay the bill when asked. There were more than enough floor staff and the manager was present. One of the floor staff was also seen pouring leftover water on a plant which splattered all over the patrons near it… The signature pie was incredibly lackluster (which was baffling as last time I tried it, about a year or so ago, it was fantastic). The coffee was great. Unfortunately that was the only positive thing I experienced.

11/10 service! We will be making a return visit every time we’re in Brisbane. Staff are so friendly and welcoming, and the ambience is lovely. Definitely give this place a try if you’re visiting queen street mall!

Fantastic restaurant in the heart of of the city. We went for a girls catch up lunch and just adored the food and service (thank you Benny!). Definitely recommend the mussels, bug brioche, beef carpaccio (melt in the mouth) and the PIE! We shared a tiramisu for dessert and treated ourselves to a bottle of Ruinart - perfect afternoon!! Thanks guys... can't wait to come back!

The restaurant is on the high floor of the mall. The store has a large area with lots of seats. There are also seats on the balcony. The atmosphere is good. The menu has quite a number of options. The desserts and drinks are exquisite. The staff is quick and friendly.

Stefan has a really good cakes and an amazing atmosphere overlooking Queens Plaza it’s really really good. Very good coffee and excellent service as well

The pizza was delicious- although needed longer to cook as it became soggy. The meatballs were good, just add some salt to taste and perfect. Very nice and fancy atmosphere- will be back for Happy Hour drinks at 4pm.

I have had coffee (excellent) and cake here a number of times over the past few months and cannot speak highly enough of the staff.They all seem to make such an effort for the customers, no matter how busy things are, and while all are excellent I wish to particularly praise a fantastic young waiter called Jay - he is worth his weight in gold! Always friendly, welcoming and pays attention to detail in his work.Thank you Jay! Another shout out must go to the delicious lemon meringue pie - worth a trip into town just for this!

Every time I pop into the city for a little bit of shopping I always have to stop at The Stanton cafe in the Queens Plaza for lunch.. I love the atmosphere and the elegance of this restaurant and the food is absolutely sensational. The service is five star with the weight staff, impeccably dressed. Thank you Fabian and team for a lovely Sunday brunch experience. We were greeted and seated promptly, and had lovely Meadhbh explain the special banana loaf and breakfasts, which each of us ordered. Food, tea and coffee are beautifully presented on UK porcelain plates, which complements the ornate furnishings and atmosphere. Waited, waited, waited to be seated. Finally seated, waited, waited to order. Hailed the waiter who ignored us and with that we left. Looks great atmosphere, terrible service.

Visited Stanton for breakfast and ordered the Stanton Breakfast. When the meal arrived, it did not have all the items listed on the menu. I asked the waiter if the sausages were still part of the menu, he wasn't sure and needed to go back to the kitchen to check. He came back and apologised that the sausages should have been part of the meal and will bring them out to me. I understand these things happen and it was not an issue, the waiter was polite and corrected the error. He brought out the sausages quite promptly and I placed them on my plate and continued to eat my meal. To my disappointment when I cut into one of the sausages, the meat was still raw inside, the meat was not firm and whitish like the outer layer but pink, raw and soft as you would find with raw mince meat. I called the waiter and let him know that the sausages were still raw, but he just politely smiled and commented that it did look a bit pink but didn't seem like he wanted to do anything about it and I didn't want to make a fuss so just left it at that. Due to it being still raw, I didn't eat the sausages because the cooked outer layer was white so it's likely to be made of either chicken or pork which you shouldn't be eating if not fully cooked, I left them on the plate but ate everything else. Shortly after my meal, I felt quite ill and this was the only meal (food/drink) I had all day since it being my first meal of the day. This was not a good experience for me at all as I have been feeling ill all day since breakfast and felt I should say something to let you know. I hope this feedback finds its way back to the kitchen for improvement as I wouldn't wish this to happen to anyone else in future.

I've been wanting to visit this fine establishment and finally had the opportunity to dine in for lunch. The atmosphere and views were enough to set Stanton apart from most restaurants and cafes within the vicinity, having its own unique elegance. I ordered the steak frites which was an absolute treat - very well cooked to my liking with enough flavour to satisfy my taste buds. The buttery goodness was just enough not to feel bloated and personally paired nicely with a cappuccino to keep me warm. Overall, extremely friendly staff and great food have made me eager to come back for more. And next time, hopefully I can come before the kitchen closes its breakfast menu. Definitely recommended for work lunches/fancy brunches with a decent view.

We had the pork belly, was beautiful. Nice atmosphere and that’s where the good part ends. We waited ages for the pizza, when it arrived, it’s was disappointing. Never seen restaurants would mince out the sausage rather than just cut sausage pieces to put on the pizza. And, even worse is you can’t even spot or taste the ‘minced out’ sausage in the pizza. Come on, sausage aren’t expensive, didn’t need to be so stingy when a pizza is almost $30. Definitely not happy about this restaurant!

Service was good, greeted upon arrival and served water straight away. Food came out fast and was delicious. Pizza is top notch, chicken & fries where also tasty. Lovely place to sit with balcony looking over queen st. Vintage and classy interior, would be great for meetings, functions & parties.

A great place in the shopping district. Nicely positioned on lv 1 of QueensPlaza, you can relax, grab a bite to eat and a drink between shops. The staff are friendly and the food well portioned. I had the crispy skinned barramundi. The fish was well cooked and the skin was crispy adding texture. The use of capers also added a nice acidic and salty taste to the dish, elevating it.

Love coming here when I visit D.Js and Queens Plaza, lovely view over the mall. Cakes and coffee/tea always a favourite. But they have a full service menu if you’re seeking something more substantial.

I have been to Stanton a couple of times during the two three years. Great view. But the food is never impressive. I thought it maybe just not my type. So I went there again last week and found this time it was the quality was shocking. ordered vegan bowl, served with a halved avocado which already became black and old. They changed the dish for me but really how can you serve that kind quality of food in the first place?

Impeccable service, atmosphere and food. Attentive friendly waitstaff and a very high quality of food. We had the buttermilk chicken which was spicy, delicious and an absolutely well balanced acidity/tang on the salad bed. As a Western Australian tourist, this was a wonderous find in the city.

Trendy venue on second floor with views of the Queen Street Mall. Great food and a good selection of wines. Gets busy at lunchtime so it’s worth booking if you don’t want to be disappointed. Great to take time out from the hustle & bustle of the city

Great ambience at The Stanton with upbeat music and excellent service, from my waiter CJ. I ordered the calamari and also chicken tapas. The servings were very generous the sauces tasty - overall it really delicious. I will return.

A little Sunday lunch and catch up with friends. Staff were great, full of smiles and ready to assist. Being on the veranda on a pretty good Brisbane day and overlooking the mall is also a plus. We had a pizza, wagu burger and arancini. The food was pretty good, not too bad on pricing and the only big negative was that the pizza was brought out about 5 minutes before the other meals.

Stanton is located in Queens Plaza level two and if the day is fine, there is nothing better than a shopping reprieve by balcony table with a glass of Chandon and a wood fire pizza. Needless to say we’ve been here many times. We’ve been wanting to try the lobster roll and frites for a while now, so we made it our ‘end of holiday’ treat. Brioche was a little heavy and could have seasoned the frites a bit more for my taste, but the overall experience was fun and we enjoyed our food. We were served by Renee who was attentive and a sweetie, she advised the portion was small so we happily added on an arancini, always delish - of course we’ll be back 🙂

I am forever on the search for house made Hollandaise Sauce - which is what led me to the Stanton Cafe. I ordered the “Eggs Benedict” - it arrived promptly. The sauce was delicious- my only complaint was that there wasn’t enough. Unfortunately one of my egg yolks were fully cooked however overall the dish was lovely - it was served on English muffins - which is the perfect balance to the richness of the dish. Sourdough, Croissants, Turkish bread have no place in this dish. Staff were friendly and I am looking forward to trying lunch and dinner.

Atmosphere and view were great; got a seat at the balcony. Enjoyed the street scene. Ordered a braised duck leg. The dish came out lukewarm and turned to room temperature fairly quickly, and meat also tasted like frozen meat. Carrots were half cooked as well. Their other dishes on the menu are probably better, but the duck leg I had was ....

Last week I went with my friend to Stanton restaurant. We went for lunch (we had two delicious pizzas)and we also had the opportunity to try the cakes (that was the best part, the chocolate cake and the carrot cake with orange). Antonio was the one who recommended us to choose a cake as a dessert, we really appreciate appreciated his recommendations and great attention. On the other hand, after the cake Nicky was the one to offer us some tea or coffee , she also was so nice and attentive.I highly recommend you to try any of their pizzas is the best I had in Brisbane and the cake is a show (big size and delicious). Have visited here a couple of times for coffee and cake. The establishment is large with lots of seatings, and the atmosphere is lovely. It can get busy, but we haven't had to wait long (if at all) to be seated. Staff members have been friendly and helpful. The cakes have been delicious every time we've stopped by and the selection is great too.

Pleasant service and food was pretty good. 4.5 stars really. There just was no wow factor; the waiters were cleaning up (and cleared my condiments on my last slice of pizza) in the last hour they were open, the pizza itself was good but nothing truly special. Seems like a fun place to hang with your mates. This is on the upper floor so you need to take the escalator or elevator up to L1.

The thing I have to get used to when I visit Australia is that coffee shops close early. So I came in 30 mins before closing and only had coffee. That said, the coffee was good, and I wished I had time to sample the food. But I love the place, the ambience is quite relaxing,an oasis of calm in an otherwise sea of busyness. The staff are very friendly and attentive.

Back in Brisbane after 4 years away, the Stanton is the sort of place Brisbane has been missing. Good food and wine list and great, friendly and attentive service. We’ll be back.

No better venue for a casual drink and nibble in the arvo overlooking the Queen Street Mall 👍🏼 . Wanted something small to eat, so we got the shoestring fries and sticky chili wings. The fries were excellent (crunchy and crispy) and the wings had a good flavoring to it, not chili but definitely a nice garlic taste 👌🏼👌🏼🤤🤤

Amazing staff and a great selection of drinks and food. This is definitely an upmarket place to go, but with a totally reasonable price tag, if your looking to have a nice date that is cheap for the city, come here.

What a beautiful venue, nice place to grab breakfast but also a quick bite at lunch. Staff were polite and professional. Considering how busy the place was I felt like I was well treated well and within a reasonable time. Food is great highly recommended

Situated on the top floor of Queens Plaza, overlooking the busy street of Queen St Mall, Stanton’s is the perfect spot for people watching. Beautifully designed and decorated, there are so many well thought out details to this upmarket cafe. Despite being very busy and understaffed, the staff are attentive and helpful. There is an extensive menu selection and the cakes are so generous in proportion. Delicious teas, milkshakes and very well priced. I look forward to returning again.

Went here on Sunday with my partner. The service was very poor. The waitress asked us if we wanted water, we said yes and after 20min we had to remind her of the water. We originally wanted to order the special going on now for $99. A bottle of Veuve with the lobster rolls but we asked if the lobster rolls had any cream or milk due to an intolerance. She said no, it will be ok. Put it through the system then went to check with the kitchen. She came back saying that it does have dairy and we told her to cancel it. We then ordered a bottle of Chandon and two chicken salads with avocado and bocconcini (Which were amazing). Another waitress then comes over with the lobster rolls and i had to inform her that we cancelled that order. The original waitress then comes over and proceeds to open our bottle of Chandon, pours it way too quickly and a decent amount of it bubbles over the glass. We just told her to stop and we just then had to do it ourselves due to her not knowing how to pour it. The food really is lovely, but i would recommend more training to your staff. Overall the food is great.

Rude and pretty much pretentious. For a cafe that just recently reopened, they carry on like they're such an on demand spot. The management needs some lessons in how to retain patronage instead of sending people away. They are lucky that the location is good otherwise, I doubt anyone will be there. This place has the ambience... I like that there is a bit of outdoor as well as indoor if you feel a bit cold.

A tad disappointed as I tried to call/book multiple times a couple of nights ago and was never gotten back to - obviously can't say much about the food. I would suggest adding a booking segment to your website if you are not always available to pick up the phones, which is understandable.

This place is worth the search. I accidentally found this great cafe in the David Jones arcade and I consider it a blessing in disguise. The coffee was great, staff were very helpful and friendly, and if you can ask to sit on the patio overlooking the mall. I was so impressed I went for coffee every morning whilst in Brisbane.

Very disappointing was not allowed to have the birthday cake we brought but a couple was able to bring 2 dogs into the restaurant and have them in a pram at their table

Plenty of staff walked by while I waited at the entrance. I had to ask to be seated. Also had to ask 3 times for a coffee. Attitude from female staff member was awful. Zero stars for service. The coffee was good. Ambience & location also good. I will try again but I hope the service is better next time

Great ambience, great staff!

Very disappointed in the meal, only thing great was the coffee. Basic mashed avo on multigrain toast and two poached eggs. Eggs were boiled and not poached ruined the whole meal while being charged $3 per egg, very unbelievable. I would have sent it back if it wasn't the fact that others I was eatting with also had poached boiled eggs also and would have wasted my time waiting another 20min.
