Lovely beach set just off the parking available. A few people walking about for sunrise & there is a dog specific entrance. Surfers were out even with the winter chill.

Free drumming circle at Brunswick by the Surf Club every Sunday 4-6pm. Just come and enjoy the beats. Fire twirlers will likely come out at some stage. Dance or sit is up to you. A beautiful atmosphere.

Impossible to fault this flawless dog friendly beach. Doesn't get any better with easy access, long stretches of sand and great waves. This beach is why Brunswick Heads remains so popular especially in school holidays. Well worth a visit, a super experience for any visitor to the area.

Great place for kids, for surfers, for fishing, for latte sipping. Actually, paradise!

Nice beach! Not much more to add than that really. Which isn’t to say there’s not more that can be said about it. I’m just saying that as far as beaches go, it’s a nice beach. That’s all. So don’t go all like overthinking it ‘kay? Let’s just move on..

If you're visiting with your 4 legged buds come to the south end, incredibly huge beach where they can roam freely (look for the signs at the access point to ensure you're in the correct -off leash- side)

A pleasant beach, with dogs allowed off leash towards the southern side of the beach (all clearly marked). A few snake warnings around so caution is advised. The beach was clean and expansive, with plenty of room for the dogs to socialise and play. Parking (front facing being important to avoid fines) all the way down the adjacent road.

Beautiful beach, plenty of space for all plus loads of parking. Can't fault it!

A busy day in the carpark but plenty of space on the beach. Surf club had a bbq fundraiser going which was great.

Such a beautiful spot. You feel like you are at the beach as if decades ago. Why, because you can't see any buildings from the beach! So lovely!

Must have been a quiet day as not many people around. Nice beach and good if you hate crowds. Not really any facilities so bring a picnic.

Words can't describe the beauty of this place. Serene, Paradise, pure Joy. And the best part was that our two puppies Marshmellow and Rocky Balboa were able to play off-leash and meet other furry friends. Highly recommend.

Dog friendly open surf beach, fine squeaky sand. Usual caveats 're rip and longshore currents when the surf is running. At my age I keep my feet on the ground and just play in the surf - lovely! Some interesting characters living in the woods behind the beach...

Disappointing that there's nowhere to park with a caravan! Wanted to stop on our way north to visit family for Christmas, lots of empty 90 degree parking spots, could've easily parked in many free places, but signage says no vehicles over 6 metres and didn't want to risk a fine just to go for a quick dip and play in the sand with our kids, no restrictions on other side of the road with parallel parking, however it was full of single vehicle cars, so silly! We kept driving.

Great vibes, nice short walk (>8mins) over the Brunswick River bridge across to the main beach. Cute 'hidden' van Cafe along the way. Lovely people around. This beach has a good strong surf/current when the weather is right for it (life guards were on the ball). Nice and calm in the evening and not overcrowded the two times I went. :)

Great place to walk the dog and enjoy sun/ moon rise however flood issues with sewage being unleashed in nearby rivers have contributed high ecoli levels- so unsafe to swim right now but there is no signage (May 2022)

Some serious Dunsborough vibes here. Great little surf spot by the breakwall and crystal clear water.

Beautiful beach with outlook south to Byron, sand is very clean with minimal sightings of rubbish in the water, at tide line or rest of beach. Water had a brown tinge when we visited following the recent flooding in the district but expect it to be crystal clear on other occasions. Looks to be busy on weekends but plenty of room for all.

Amazing beach, would definitely come visit here if visiting Byron bay. A different feel and I was lucky to see cubby houses made with sticks!

One of my most favourite places to chill out. Usually a calm environment with minimal drama, great for bike tracks & long walks if you wish. Sit down by the River or Beach play some music, crack a beer & go for a swim! 👌🏻 Plenty of Wildlife as well - Bush Turkeys 🦃 Birds 🐦& Water dragons if your lucky 🦎

It's an unpatrolled beach so you need to be careful in the surf. Ask a local if you need some advice They're incredibly friendly. Beautiful spot to sunbake and people watch.

Exceptional beach. Perfect for swimming, watched some surfers waiting for a break but the swell wasn't that big. Further down appears to be a dog friendly beach so you can bring your canine companions for a frolic.
