When
it
comes
to
Mexican
eateries
outside
of
Mexico,
I
often
can't
help
but
to
associate
the
foods
on
offer
are
along
the
mere
calibre
of
typical
Tex-Mex
restaurants.
😖😖😖
La
Patrona
is
gratefully
nowhere
near
that!
Their
tacos
al
pastor,
tacos
carnitas
are
sumptuous,
while
the
seafood
tostadas
are
tantalizingly
crunchy.
These
dishes,
when
eaten
by
hands
(the
Mexican
way
😉)
and
accompanied
by
a
dash
of
lemon
(though
I'd
prefer
lime),
made
those
great
savouring
moments
of
delicious
tacos
in
Mexico
come
rolling
back!
Despite
the
wonderful
tacos,
the
pork
costillas
could
have
been
of
meatier
ribs
and
tenderer.
The
selections
of
Tequilas
and
Mezcals
on
offer
are
pleasantly
extensive.
It
also
brought
back
fond
memories
of
travel
adventures
in
Oaxaca,
as
I
sipped
a
glass
of
their
Mezcal
Artesanal
Joven,
served
with
a
slice
of
orange
sprinkled
with
sal
de
gusano
(at
least
I
hope
that's
what
it
was).
😉
Overall,
La
Patrona
lives
up
to
its
name
and
reputation.
And
I
sincerely
wish
them
many
more
successful
years
to
come.
¡Viva
Mexico!
