They used to be one of the best hospitals 🏥 in town, when they had commenced about some 20-25yrs back. Experienced and well qualified and certified renown doctors used to practice here. But in the last decade or so, things have changed drastically, the management was very ignorant in running it as a service to the society. They were so ignorant that they started loosing patients, well qualified renowned doctors and most importantly hardworking staffs. This has led to huge crisis. As far as I’m aware, the hospital has been closed and is now bought by a renown politician. This is one of such Example’s and as I’m aware, the second hospital in Chengannur alone (first was a hospital 🏥 in Kodukulanji, Chengannur known as BJSPM commenced in the late 70’s was one of the best and renown Hospital of central Travancore) again were by such a good and reputable hospitals like BJSPM & Century loses its core principles and importance because of carelessness and lack of ethical management and most importantly very ignorant management that should have stood for the people and served the society. But led such great medical 🏥 institutions to sink, all in the name of wealth and greed. Hope in future we don’t have to see such fate on reputable institutions and hospitals.

Do not ever go here! When I was 8 years old, I had a very bad experience here. One day, I fainted at school. I was taken to this hospital. They did many tests, including a CT scan. After that, the doctor called my mother, and then looking at the CT film, he said that I have cysts in my brain and an emergency operation has to be done. But luckily, on hearing this, my family decided to take me to Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences & Technology, Thiruvananthapuram. The doctors there told us that the CT scan they took was not at all clear, and nothing can be inferred from it. So, they prescribed to do many tests, including an MRI scan. Luckily, I was not suffering from any illness! All the results were normal. There was no cyst in my brain! I hope you understood the facts about this hospital! Thanks for reading.

It is one of the worst hospital in Chengannur, which only survives on ECHS ( Insurance of Ex. Servicemen) and Mortuary rentals only. No Doctors are there as such no patients. Doctors have left to Believers hospital or Medical Mission. Only Otho and Ophthalmologist has patients. This is a Primary health Centre not a hospital. It has huge liabilities, they don't have money to pay doctors, pay electricity dues or money to paint the building. the hospital has good building but all rooms are locked. Nursing School used to function now CLOSED. Scanning Centre was there now CLOSED. Huge rush of Nurses are there but no patients, these nurses walk like a Collector but no work. Dr. Alexander Koshy does not anything. Even his patients have left for Believers Church Hospital. Dr. Koshy does not know any treatment. He never refer any patients to any super specialities as the hospital has visiting Specialists who are irregular because patients are not there so they too skip in coming. So the patients are left to die. One should better go to Sanjivani Hospital or Muthoot Hospitals rather than going to this primary health Centre. The Canteen is worse, you will like Jail food than food served here. If You come to Emergency & Trauma with some ailment either in auto, scooter or by walk then they will either put u on wheel chair or stretcher and take you to ICU even for toothache or simply for scratching head. And when you will be discharged after seeing the bill you will get a cardiac arrest in that case better go some other hospital rather than getting examined here. This hospital can run smoothly with good full time doctors of all discipline if some doctors syndicate manage it without Dr. Alexander Koshy.

Century Hospital is one of the oldest Hospital which was one of the best hospital at the time of its launch. Now the hospital require require lot of renovation and maintenance work to get back The Lost Glory. Treatment is good for the patients, doctors including physicians, gynecologists, ENT surgeons, general surgeons, pediatricians, Orthopaedic surgeons being the panel of doctor. The hospital is located almost half a kilometre inside from the main highway MC Road------- Chengannur-- Thiruvananthapuram. Pharmacy services, laboratory services and imaging services are available at the hospital itself,......

Good hospital low cost good treatment and great doctors but the staff are useless, not doing anything just bad mouth patient and sleeps,its the only bad thing of the hospital,it is cheap compared to other hospitals in Kerala, And staff and their relative comes first in any procedure or visit to doctors or scan any other thing in this hospitals doesn't matter even if you are paying patients No wonder this hospitals is in loss, only thing to fix it if fire all useless staff ,

It was a good hospital with some good doctors in some departments. But, due to the mismanagement doctors resigned, joined elsewhere and patients followed them. It's a big loss for the people living in that locality.

Such a non responsible hospital don't care about patients and services are poor. Worthless and unacceptable behaviour from staffs, they are even not bothered about emergency situations.They are lagging much time and final bill rate is high.

Nice big hospital with all facilities. But don't expect that you will get big medical treatments if you are admitted here alone after an accident. Because no matter how big your wounds are or you have broken bones or have big nerve injuries that requires major care, they will just push in some cotton in your wounds and keep you in a waiting room till your family come for discussing financials. So you will in that room for hours..... Treatment cost will be high.. Doctors are friendly... Good Luck

Very bad experience....no good treatment....no patient care nothing ...very bad

Horrible experience... Went in for an induced delivery, ended up with a c section for no reason.. and the doctor was not cooperative at all when I started asking questions.. After surgery they said that I had become a life long blood pressure patient and kept me in the hospital for 7 days and kept giving me pills.. My blood pressure became normal within couple of days of discharge.. I would not recommend any sane person to go here..
