The is a fairly new shop in this vicinity! After the pandemic and the various waves, life is crawling back to normalcy. Many business have been shuting down while many others are opening up branches. Wishing these new ones the very best!! Bought a few sweets boxes to gift🧧 friends and family. Quick service. Loved the variety here. There is also space for us to sit and have a quick bite. Looks neat and clean. While billing check the items and check it again before leaving to be on the safer side.

It was really a good experience having visited gupta bhavan...Mr.Baskar manager gave us a great hospitality and helped us have a pleasant dinner night! And the food was really delicious Ambience too!

Had sev puri, dahi puri and pav bhaji. All were excellent in taste, mouth watering and presented well. The service was good and the atmosphere was conducive. Other North indian dishes like chole nature, panner tikka etc were also available. A nice and cosy place to relax and eat North indian cuisine.

The taste of North Indian food is fully authentic and makes you come back. Their selling point is Desserts and Savouries, none can beat their taste. Mansukh is also there near by, but they take lions share. Parking facilities are ample and quite walkable from Ashok Pillar.

This restaurant situated in Ashok Nagar to T Nagar road next to Saravana Bhavan hotel Ashok Nagar. Ground floor is for Sweets, Snacks and Chats with little seating. First floor is a dining restaurant. We had two North Indian thalis. Taste is good but prices are very expensive. Ambience and atmosphere is very good.

Nice place for vegetarians. Located at main place easy to identify. Car Parking is the concern. Next door there is No Parking sign it is difficult to leave the car and no ample space for parking car or even vallet parking was not there when we went. Food is good to eat lot of options. Very beautiful place for sweets, looking like North india restaurant. Very clean and hygienic but test of some items such as chhole bature, pav bhaji etc. taste was not too good. Of course South Indian food like masala dosa and gee dosa taste was very good. They are not serve curry and roti in lunch time only in dinner they serve the proper meals.

Love the thali here . The sabjis are always yummy 😋 especially panneer and chole. Pulav is simple and tasty. But sweet is most of times gulab jamun which feels like wanting for more. Overall scrumptious thali for decent price. Tried dhokla this time and it was fluffy and delicious 🤤. Ambience on first floor is good. Gupta bhavan never disappoints though bit pricey.

Had our dinner here. Ambiance is great. Very friendly staff. Comfortable seating. Starters were excellent. Paneer Tikka and corns. Main course was good too. Had garlic chili noodles, bread and maalai kofta & mushroom curry. Food was served pretty quickly. Chai, coffee and badam milk were great too. Overall enjoyed the delicious food here. Hygienic and well kept place! Great service. The Dil Kush thali was so richly loaded, the paneer dosa was also stuffed heavily. Everything were served fresh. The Chola Puri is a bit oily and heavy! It’s a bit on the pricey side . The tea here was good but I have tasted better ones in other branches .

Absolutely Bad experience 1. The south indian food is below average for the price. 2. They have untrained staff When asked why the Dosa is delayed the staff replied "Only 1 tawa is there " with an attitude. 3. The server gave our order to a different table and didn't even have the courtesy to apologise for it 4. After pointing this all out, they didn't even have the common courtesy to not charge for the delayed dosa and no sense of service at all. Please avoid this place. Even though the North Indian food is above average, it is not worth the price and the extremely pathetic service.

Today myself and my friend went to this place where we ordered one plain dosa and masala dosa, both were not bad. After this, i ordered one kadai vegetable (take away) from Gupta bavan, Ashok Nagar Branch and brought into my home, after opening it i surprised as there is no beans, carrots, potato, cauliflower and green peas in the kadai vegetable instead they have put full and full of pumpkin slices...waste of money...i thrown it into dust bin....plz don't it as kadai vegetable rename it kadai pumpkin

Sree Gupta bhavan is a classic North Indian vegetarian hotel. It offers wide range of North Indian and Chinese vegetarian recipes. It offers typical Indian snacks such as Pani Puri, Dahi Poori, Vada pav, pav bhaji, papadi chat. In Chinese options, they offer veg fried rice, noodles, Gobi Manchurian, Chinese garlic sauce and many more. Their chole bhature is one of the classics. And it's our All time favourite of this hotel. Their pav bhaji dosa with chutney Sambar is also the best. Combos such as Ghar ki thali and Chinese combos are good too. Overall, it's a good hotel to spend time and dine with your friends and family.

The things they serve in name of "North Indian" food is a BIG SCAM/EYE WASH...To be frank I told the manager that it's CHEATING in name of North Indian food. *Onion katchori did not have onion and just namesake filling of potato. *The pudina chutney was spoilt/Maybe it was more than a day old (Horrible taste).When pointed out they said they will check 😯😱 *Chola bhatura was tatse less, Pure lack of spice and balance of flavour. The staff GOD save the owners,If this is the way they speak & reply to client then they will have to CLOSE soon. The 2 ⭐ is only for the good sweets, Quite good/must try the cashew ladoo.Its top class balance of sweet and cashew cream.

Food was decent. Ordered even it was lunch time and the combos are good to have if you are not looking for something that's not heavy.. Bought gulab jamun (boxed) one and it didn't taste good. The sugar syrup was watery and the jamun taste was not good at all..

One of the best restaurant for Great North Indian cuisine. The highlights are their thalis and starters. We had the "dill kush thali', was an awesome wide spread. Quite tough to finish the thali. Very sumptuous and tasty. Authentic taste. Not to miss the Aam panaa drink, was rich in energy and taste. The stuffed mushroom was out of the world. Not to miss that. Excellent service. Very comfortable seating and good ambience. Mr. Sanjay took great care of us with a smile. Kudos to him and the team. Highly recommended. A must try.

Food is good. Employees need to learn how to handle customers. Restaurant is not all about having tasty or quality food. You need to bring the ambiance so that customers have the food with joy. Showing attitude is not the right way. Your mood will be spoiled.

The sambhar and chutney are ok. It was a Sunday night, so the Hindi workers are only keen to close even though it was an hour before closing. To their fate, 3 problematic patrons filled the tables as we left the restaurant nearing closing time. The corn cheese dosai which is the most expensive dosai was blant corn n cheese added. They seem to add maida on dosai batter which they should avoid. Gupta can’t stand against Sangeetha or Manoj Bhavan or Saravana Bhavan as they are specialist in South Indian delicacies.

They have good varieties of sweets and north indian style snacks. They got restaurant on forst floor. Quite spacious. Got good variety of north indian Thali and other dishes. Prices are bit high for the quantity they give. Rest all good. So if you are near ashok pillar and wanna try north indian food , you can try this place. Service is also good and quick. Though the employees are using gloves and giving hand sanitizer for the customers, they are not using clamp or any other device to take out sweets while packing for customers.
