Calm and quiet place. Try to visit during workdays to enjoy the nature and silence.

Beautiful place. AMAZING little church.The young priest told us the story of the place. There is a little spring nearby famous for the healing properties for the eyes. 🙏🍀

Amazing spiritual place fir anyone, who wants to experience and see a typical Bulgarian Orthodox Monastery. Beautiful church and icons, very well done and maintained. I even bought an ointment for psoriasis made by the monks. Very close to Sofia if you can't travel to the other monasteries.

Very quiet and peaceful place.

The monastery is in very good condition everything is new or renovated. Just 15min away driving from Bankya center. Part if the road is very bad, but rest is fine.

The road to the monastery is not very good. But if you leave the car 2-3 kilometers before the place, it is a great walk.

Fully renovated monastery - as new and well maintained. The two churches are undergoing interior refreshment and renewal of the murals. 30 min walking from bus stop "Kitka" in Mihaylovo district of Bankya (start at plus code M4Q8+GF Bankya). Walk is easy and peaceful - woods and meadows 50:50 but not marked particularly well.
