Dabov looks like a lab, it’s got this 'coffee is a serious business' atmosphere that I adore. They offer an incredible selection with a clean menu in both English and Bulgarian. Not only they operate classic espresso-based beverages, they only offer filter options. I had a really nice time, and a marvelously good Brazilian-beans espresso.

This is a great coffee place in Sofia. The coffee is really good and the prices are decent, but the biggest plus in my opinion is the staff. The two baristas who were there when I went were super friendly and seemed very knowledgeable regarding the products they sell (coffee, beans etc). Make sure you don’t miss this place when you’re in Sofia.

This place is not ordinary coffee shop. Its more like coffee temple! Barista will greet you there right after you get in and offer you very beautiful coffee menu. In my opinion, Dabov is one of the best roasteries in Europe and one thing is for sure... whatever coffee you choose, you will be very happy. Whole experience there is flawless. Its a "must visit" place for any coffee lover visiting Sofia.

DABOV Specialty Coffee is in fact ‘special’! From the moment you walk in the door, you are greeted by the most positive, professional and helpful staff - which we were last Saturday 16/10/21. They KNOW coffee here!! A young women greeted us and showed us to a nice and very comfortable seating area. She took our order, an oat milk latte for me and a hot mint tea for my husband. Both drinks were prepared with expertise by Petko, an amazing and very friendly young man. Petko visited with us and made us feel like we were regular customers instead of strangers stopping in for our first time. The two young women that were also working were so nice and fun to talk with. DABOV also offers coffee beans to go, whole or ground to your request. And other coffee making supplies are sold in their retail area. Prices are extremely reasonable. Coffee here is chosen and roasted with perfection by DABOV owner. We learned about DABOV from the Madrid Spain location owned and operated by Rumen. I’m so glad Rumen also told us to stop into the main location here in Sofia. It’s a great family run business! We will be passing back through Sofia in a couple weeks and we look forward to stopping in once again. I highly recommend you stop in too!!

Coffee is thumbs up excellent. I have to give it to them. I tried the Brazil samambaia and the chocolatey taste/smell was great. The profile was probably the best I had in Europe. They also have a good background information of all their products, including taste profiles and origins. However I give it 4 stars because I prefer the service of the other cafes nearby namely Urban Specialty Coffee. The service in Dabov seems less responsive. On the other hand, the owner at Urban Specialty is much more generous in sharing his knowledge. I stress though this is my experience and opinion so it may not apply to locals visiting.

Amazing coffee experience in Sofia! It seems the owner is very passionate and travels around the world to find the most amazing flavours! Staff is very kind, polite and have a very good coffee knowledge. Pavlova cake that you may taste here is out of this world! This is also a place for the tea lovers. Magnificent! If I'll ever return to Sofia, Dabov is one of the main reasons!

This place has such a great selection of some really nice coffee! The best selection of coffee I’ve so far found in Europe. They even have Geisha! And its superb! I had an AeroPress for the first time there, it was good, but the Geisha in the V60, now that’s an amazing experience! The owners are so kind too. When we went they were doing a charity event to raise money for some local kids who are in need of some surgery in Germany. Stop by and have delicious coffee prepared by kind and knowledgeable baristas and take part with them in spreading the love, of coffee and their neighbors. I wish you guys much success!

An amazing place for people who want to try some of the most amazing exposition of coffee flavors. And even more amazing that they have unique teas and the best gluten-free chocolate. This is one of the very few places in town where you can find good quality coffee beans sourced sustainably, directly from farmers from some of the best locations for coffee farming in the world, such as LATAM. Having travelled in the region, I know that especially in Colombia, the farming and production of coffee beans is quite problematic. Often, Colombians are being pressured by financial factors, ending up drinking a lower quality of coffee themselves and having to sell everything else to big corporations. However, this problem can be alleviated when businesses buy the beans directly from local farmers, ensure fair working conditions, and make sure that they are not underpaid. Looking forward to seeing more sustainable businesses like this one in Sofia.

Specialty coffee shop. Here you can buy or taste coffee blends that you can't easily find elsewhere. The staff is polite and awesome, the atmosphere is good. Price range is moderately high to expensive. Would recommend if you're a coffee lover or you know someone who is.

Popped in for a late morning coffee purely based on the previous reviews and it did not disappoint. On a hot summers day i went for an iced Latte, which was made with care and attention. The guy is clearly passionate about his trade and it shows in the quality product served. Throughly recommended. A quick hop, skip around the corner to Soul Kitchen for lunch.

I love this place as it is the only brand in Bulgaria serving nice coffee - many are being called specially coffee, however only this place can be clasofied as such. The service is always fanstatic. Just one advice if want to improve - today I went for iced latte and been offered Iced beetroot latte and told they do not offer just iced latte which is disappointing as there are ppl like me who does not like beetroot, turmeric, or pumpkin flavours in their coffee - just as it is shot of espresso and milk. A bit sad as this means that have to find a place for iced latte as summer is comming.

Dabov has ruined coffee for me :) It is the way coffee is supposed to be - freshly baked, made with care and good equipment from people who are genuinely interested in what they do. I have not found near that taste elsewhere. Cannot recommend this place enough.

This cafe is very welcoming, clean and efficient. The coffee's and little pastries are delicious. When I come here sometimes I order 2 hot chocolates and just sit and enjoy the view and the people. The staff are very welcoming and polite. As a regular in this Cafe I would definitely recommend trying it even if it's a little far away from your destination. Do not moss out on it. On the new product they are making which is a cold chocolate drink I would definetly recommend if you are someone who enjoys sweet balanced drinks and likes to taste and smell every ingredient without being overwhelmed by the taste. They're mane hot chocolate can sometimes feel as a little overwhelming to some people so I would totally recommend it if you wish to have a lighter drink.

Service was absolutely great. They accommodated our group of five plus a toddler and gave us a good overview of their coffee offering in English. We tried the cold brew, specialty espresso and filtered coffee.

The coffee here is truly exceptional. Premium and really interesting beans prepared perfectly by an awesome team that are passionate, knowledgeable, and super friendly. After trying it for the first time, I spent the next 10 days while I was travelling counting down the days till I could visit again. This is the coffee shop that you want to live above so that you can start single every day with their espresso!
