Fairly new hotel. Rooms were very clean. Cleaning staff was very attentive. Rooms were large and had nice features. Breakfast was lacking. I would say below average for a Marriott. Gym was very nice. There is a venue very near the hotel and one night very loud music was playing but wasn’t too bad.

Good hotel, much newer than others in the area. Rooms were well proportioned. The service was just fine. Breakfast was traditional Hilton food but could have used some additional variety. It seems scrambled eggs and sausage was the go-to on most mornings. Additionally, the oatmeal was very runny and the labeled Cheerios were actually honey nut Cheerios. I will likely stay again when I need to be back in New Jersey, but nothing stood out as either stellar nor terrible at this particular hotel.

Have stayed here on numerous occasions in the past with no issue. This time, however, I found a large cockroach in the tub early in the morning when getting ready. The front desk was notified and they sent someone to come catch it. By the time someone came, it was inside of the drain and his attempts to catch it were unsuccessful. We checked out well before we had planned to (around 8:30 am) because of this. When we asked to speak to a manager, we were told there was not one there and that was that. We left, but then came back to provide our name and ask that a manager get in contact with us. This happened today, July 13th, so we are going to see what happens.

Overall a great hotel. Good rooms. The breakfast was only ok. The oatmeal had so much water in it that it was almost impossible to eat. The bread being served was very cheap. Other than a mediocre breakfast, everything was great.

Not the greatest experience. I booked this hotel for a Saturday night because it was 5 minutes away from the location that I needed to be at the next morning. A day or 2 before I was scheduled to check in, I received a call from a gentleman who asked if I can move to the Bridgewater Marriott, which was 35 minutes away from the destination that I needed to be at on Sunday. So of course it was a major inconvenience. He mentioned that the room would be taken care of and I wouldn't have to pay anything. Although hesitantly, I accepted the change without complaint. Upon checking into the hotel I was moved to, they said at 1st that they could not locate my reservation. I showed them the email I received from Springhill with my new confirmation # and the proper forms (marriott authorization form included) and was able to check in. The next day, when my wife and I were going to check out, the people at the front desk could not find that reservation and it wasnt actually even showing that I checked in. I showed them the email I received from Springhill regarding the room change which showed my confirmation # as well. Clearly, I wasn't lying. They tried to charge the card that was left on file by the Springhill employee, but said it was declined. So they had to charge me $249.88, when the hotel I originally booked was only $65. I contacted the Springhill about the issue 2 days later. That was a month ago. Still no resolution. I've been told that the charge will be refunded a few times and it still hasn't. No one has been rude, but no one's been able to fix the issue or even offered any type of freebie. I put in a case with Marriott corporate so hopefully it will be resolved soon. It's a good thing I'm not unstable financially because if so $249.88 taken off my account for a month that wasn't expected would stink. I'm such an easy going person and I haven't been rude at all in my follow ups. It just kills me that you overbook a hotel, move me 35 mins away from where I needed to be, and tell me the room is taken care of. Only to find out that it's not. Mistakes happen I understand that but it should be rectified without me having to be the one reaching out. My last email exchange was June 15 and I was told I'd hear back soon. It's June 27 and I haven't. Hoping this gets fixed soon. It's not even that much about the money. It's the principle.

Overall a good hotel, the only downside was the room had some very minor cleanliness issues and breakfast was sort of small but definitely good enough. Location is great as you're right by Staten Island but traffic isn't always great.

Don't know why this is rated low on other sites. For a quick stay, it is perfect in a king suite. It was clean and quiet. I was able to hear the highway nearby, but the sound wasn't obnoxious. There is a wedding venue nearby, but we didn't see any events going on during our stay.

Always full parking lot, but so far not noisy. Majority the time staff are amazing. Rooms are clean. Plan to stay there again next time we are in Iselin. Good value.

For a weekend getaway, this place was just perfect. The decor in the room was beautiful and it was very clean. It was great after having a late night out and wanting to just rest. It was a very comforting room. Will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Upon arrival the front desk attended has airpods in both of his ears and couldn't hear anything i was saying. I had to repeat myself multiple times in order to check in. Once we got the key he didn't inform me where the elevators were or what time breakfast is. Once I got to my room there was a funky smell and then I saw someone had left something in the bridge and no one cleaned it before. I had asked for extra towels since I had 5 people in one room and only got 4 which wasn't enough. I asked for more but never got any. After a night in I went down to the front desk to ask if someone will be available at 3 am for check out since I had a long drive home and again the same attended couldn't understand me because of airpods. I was very upset that no one was able to help me. There's a banquet and an interstate right by the hotel which causes a hard time sleeping or even existing the parking lot. There was also no parking on Saturday night due to the banquet hall having a party. The elevators sound unsafe and have a delayed start and stop. Upon check out at 3 am the same attended was sitting on a couch with airpods on and didn't notice me standing. He wasn't wearing a uniform so I wasn't sure who that was. As I stood at the front desk i started to get irritated and then attended finally noticed me continued to look at his phone on the couch away from the desk and told me to just leave the keys on the counter that was very rude! Would not stay here again!!!

I booked the meeting room for an offsite Board training. The lakeside conference room has floor to ceiling windows and doors to a patio with a fire pit and seating for a fresh air break. Shades made a presentation possible and the room provided a pleasant alternative to the windowless conference room experience. Shauna, who books meetings and hotel space was delightful to work with. The staff knew we were coming in early on a Saturday. The meeting room was clean, set up for us and the staff responded to our tech issue quickly. I highly recommend the newly renovated and branded Marriott hotel.

This place has no business being so nice. I'm not much for traveling, this was so much nicer than any hotel I've ever stayed. There's a big desk, theres a pup out bed. Even a little table by the water. I thought the pictures were stock photos but it looks just like this. Bonus points, there was a cat in the gas station parking lot, walking distance. Meow.

Horrible front desk that is arrogant and rude and hotel manager Krunal is completely useless with dealing and handling issues raised. I had to chase this guy down calling 10 times after he called once and left some rambling voice mail and he never called back. All I got was his canned email company response. Pure and utter garbage company and regardless of my Marriott member status they way I was treated was completely unacceptable. You just lost a customer I am sure they really do not care.
