Good hotel with large rooms with kitchen and sofa. Perfect stay for family. Old property but neatly maintained. I stay here quite often and like the location as well. Overall, a good property for family stay!

Great hotel! If I could stay longer, I would have. Their studios are clean and stacked with pots/pans/ utensils for any number of days you can imagine to stay. The staff and amenities are amazing! Indoor pool + BBQ grill + hot breakfast! What more could you want? We really enjoyed our stay at this property and wish we could come back soon!

So far I like the service so far!! I got a 2 bedroom for titanium elite. Everything was in pretty good condition and looks pretty new. Not out of date…

The two women who checked me in for my stay were EXTREMELY friendly and helpful!! I did have an issue the second morning of my stay. I was rudely awakened by a woman who seemed to be management knocking on my door. I open the door to chat with this woman, and she explained that my card on file declined for the charges. Understandable that this is a concern for the property, however instead of taking a gentle, friendly approach - which should be used toward guests (especially who you just woke up) she decided to tell me that payment is due now and 'normally in these situations police would be called in 30 minutes". TMI and offensive in my opinion. As a titanium elite member, I really did not appreciate the insinuation that I could not afford to pay, or the approach this woman took with addressing the issue at hand. I went straight to the front desk and completed my payment. The issue was a simple lock that I had placed on my card. The room I was in was very spacious and the layout was excellent. However the furniture arrangement was arkward and uncomfortable, so I took it upon myself to rearrange the suite to a more comfortable layout (as shown in images). Several things were broken / not functioning properly, all of which were easy fixes that I personally addressed.

Alot to go over, but I'll try my best. This is a large, 3 floor hotel, with abundant parking. This hotel is pet friendly, which is fantastic since it's hard to find accommodation for dogs. It was nice that they had a designated green space to walk dogs, too. My family stayed here for at least 2 months. Upon arrival, there were no window guards, which is extremely dangerous with young children. I requested maintenance to take a look, and they installed temporary blocks that can easily be removed again. We were first located upstairs but requested to be moved closer to the entrance for convenience, which the hotel accommodated after 2 weeks. When we moved to the 1st floor, the window locks were not working. I didn't feel safe, so I requested the hotel to fix it immediately, which they did NOT. I asked 3x, and nobody showed up. I ended up fixing myself. The front door would also lock me in, and the dishwasher was disgusting. I assumed the dishwasher was broken because water would back up into it and stink and overflow, but I was told it had something to do with the food disposal. I got the overall impression that the owner is cheap and wouldn't replace the unit if I asked. I understand that inflation is through the roof but come on. The lock issue was never fixed and neither was the dishwasher (atleast not they way I wish it would have been resolved). The pots and pans were so cheap so we couldn't cook there because everything stuck or burned. Also, the ventilation didn't work. GARBAGE is another issue. It's a large, extended stay hotel. There's no compactor room so the garbage adds up fast. I was advised I can leave outside the door but then got in trouble for doing so. I understand that being an issue as well (believe me) but it put me in an uncomfortable position feeling like I am a pain in the ... to take my garbage when I can toss myself if there were a trash receptacle in the common area. Towels!!! These would run short- throughout the hotel on a regular basis. Again, I felt like owner is REALLY CHEAP. just restock, don't send your staff banging on my door to collect towels that they would never bring back. Some staff do not speak English at all. Although very pleasant, I couldn't communicate with them when I needed the basic item. Breakfast: at first, I was intimated by the staff because one gentleman would stare at me, taking food for my large family. After a while, I didn't care because we were paying customers, and it's an extended stay hotel. The ladies who put out breakfast are sweethearts (thank you). They are friendly and personable. There is a variety of food every morning and decent hours too (I think until 10:30 on weekends) . Pool: The pool was nice and enjoyable. On 2 occasions, there were no towels at all (available in the hotel). Now I'm sure staff complained to the owner and the owner doesn't want to spend $$$. The hot tub was closed off and no longer there in case anyone was interested. Room service: we didn't use room service because we had dogs with up, but room service went from all week when we first arrived to 3x weekly to having to sign up for service. Idk, we travel a lot. I've never heard of that before. Cleaning the room was always an option every day unless it was declined wherever I went before . Again, it seems to be owners trying to save $$. I don't understand. They have contracts with Amtrack and am almost full or sold out on a regular basis. I didn't get to use the grill, but there's a nice BBQ grill for the summer and a beautiful firepit right at the front entrance. There's also a basketball court that anyone can use with their own basketball or borrow the hotels by asking the front desk. Overall I liked the hotel and staff, I would stay again. I would definitely recommend revamping your marketing and try to be nicer to your employees, their happiness would reflect on the interactions with guests.

My family & I said here on 6/2/23. We received excellent customer service skills from a lady name Toni at the front desk. She is the most helpful pleasant person ever. She made sure we had a great stay. The hotel was perfect very clean & breakfast was great . My family enjoyed the pool, the patio outside & played basketball. I recommend the hotel to anyone. Thanks so much we will be back. Many blessings Toni & the rest of the staff

Perfect in every way. Really enjoyed the stay here, staff was great, breakfast was good, everything was clean. It was perfection and I can only have minor complaints. My one complaint was that the guest store was small and wasn't restocked over at least 10 days that we were there. There was no other vending in the hotel that we were aware of. I also thought the bathroom layout was odd. While in the toilet area, there was no solid surface to lay anything on (clothes, etc.). I wish they would add some hooks or some sort of shelving in there, otherwise you need to leave the door open and use the sink area. I just wish this part of the layout was designed with more usability in mind. Also in my room I must have had a sewer pipe going through behind my closet as it smelled horrendous if I left the door to the closet open. Was a really horrible off-putting sewer smell. Otherwise this place was so nice and cozy. It really was like staying in a little house. This was much better than any hotel I have ever stayed in my life and if I could afford it I would stay here again. The rates were reasonable for the class of hotel, but a lot more than what I usually stay at.

Beautiful Location, but Operational Challenges My stay at the Marriott Hotel, situated inside the picturesque Stowe Ski Resort, was a mix of stunning views and operational difficulties. The hotel's location offers great views and direct access to the ski resort, making it an ideal choice for ski enthusiasts. However, we encountered a series of issues, particularly with parking and the on-site restaurants. It seemed like the hotel, being a large resort, struggled with effective management. The customer service at the restaurants was notably poor, detracting from our dining experience. Acknowledging these issues, the manager did offer us credit for the restaurant, which was a considerate gesture but didn't entirely make up for the shortcomings. The beauty of the location and the proximity to Stowe Ski Resort are definite pluses, but the operational challenges we faced indicated a need for better management and customer service training. This contrast between the hotel's excellent location and its service flaws made our stay a mixed experience.

I had stayed here for a couple of nights . The front desk service was awesome, the rooms ok. The issue was there wasn't any bottled water for two days on a trot. The breakfast was good and has some healthy fruit choices too. A ' may visit again' place.

We had a 1br suite, although the pool was closed due to renovation, the stay was enjoyed. Conveniently located, clean spacious room and great service. We felt right at home. Thank you!

Good Marriott location, paleography parking, professional staff on hand. Three floors with two elevators available.

Great hotel. Room was very large. I liked how they separated the three rooms. Basically they break it down to a bedroom, kitchen, and living room. They managed to do that without making it look cramped or bad. The front desk area was nice and clean. The woman working the desk was awesome. She even knew who I was when I started talking to her. I thought that was pretty impressive. It could have been the Boston accent though. Only reason I’m not leaving a 5 star is because I didn’t have a chance to eat breakfast or have coffee so I can’t comment on something I didn’t experience. Great hotel though.

Clean facility, decent parking, great location friendly staff. Missing luggage stands in both of our rooms. The kitchen efficiency had a broken hinge and a very loud compressor in the refrigerator - nothing critical, but not top notch.

Perfectly normal Residence Inn in NJ. In room kitchen could be cleaner and they could pick up trash from halls after noon, but I'm guessing they're short staffed or at least that would be an excuse if anyone wanted comments... nice to have a table in a separate room for working. I like that they have a basketball court! Why is there no towel rack or hook anywhere near the bathroom sink??? 🤔

Room was really nice, but accidentally booked a suite instead of a regular room. Not sure if they have regular rooms, but it was nice, just really pricey. The big problem I had with this place was that I wanted to bring a pet, but the charge looked to be $100? That seems kind of steep for a single night. Wound up leaving the pooch with family. Honestly, for the price, I feel like I could have gotten something way better in the same area, but I'm not in the area that much anymore so it was kind of last minute. Didn't use any facilities so can't comment on those. Room was clean, didn't see any of the aforementioned bed bugs from other reviews, but I did notice a bed bug cover on the mattress during our check. We've taken precautions to treat our luggage before bringing it back home, so if they do show up, ill know where they came from and update my review accordingly.

Absolutely atrocious customer service. Horrible Wi-Fi. I paid for “upgraded Wi-Fi” and couldn’t even connect to it. When I asked for a refund I was told I have to wait until Monday. I shouldn’t have to wait for anything when I paid for a service this hotel promised and didn’t deliver on. I will ensure I inform the absolutely massive company I work for not to use this hotel again.

The worst guest service I have ever encountered in my life. My family had just experienced an electrical fire in our home so we had to make a last minute reservation here. My father, who booked the reservation, stayed behind to speak with the first responders and our now traumatized dog. We arrive to an extremely rude concierge refusing to allow us in, demanding that my father arrive to present ID. After explaining our dire situation to them, we were met with shrugs and complete and utter disregard. They did not offer any solution except for us to call corporate or have my father show up. We were forced to look for somewhere else to stay- it’s pouring outside and late. Beyond dissatisfactory- the staff clearly needs retraining. I’ll never forget how they treated me and my family in a time of need. A shame.

So let's start off this review with the front desk. Some of them are friendly and a great help and some need training again. Now lets go to breakfast. I really wish they had better breakfast. The oatmeal is watery. Coffee taste like it is old and they never wash the coffee machine. The tables were dirty. The dishes looked like they were ran through just hot water and no soap. I was very disappointed with the breakfast. Now let's talk about the pool place. There are towels everywhere. As a guest you should pick up your towel and put it in the basket but for the guest who are to good for that the housekeeping will not bother picking them up. I saw the same towel there for days! When you ask for towels for the pool they will give you the white towels. There is this machine that is there and covered up. you can see the rust on it and its gross. The pool itself is dirty. They might clean the pool after weeks. While i was swimming in the pool i looked down and there was a bunch of hair in there. The water looked murkie. That is how you know the pool is not clean. The windows in the pool area are dirty. Around the pool looks like no one cares to clean it. You can see the smudges all over the windows. It looks really bad! The hot tub has been out of order for a hot minute now. Another annoying thing i came across is that they were swimming lessons going on. I did not know that guest have to deal with swimming classes. I think that is very unprofessional and very uncomfortable. Now about the rooms..... They are a good size rooms it's just that they smell dingy. Thinking it is just me i wanted to give them the benefit of doubt. Friday Housekeeping came and let me tell you how i was shocked with their cleaning. They will not wipe the nightstands. The headboard you can see marks on there as well. I left some stuff there and when i came back it was still there. The linen does not smell clean at all. Nothing they put out smells clean or washed. It has a very dingy smell. The bathroom mirrors you can see the smudges and toothpaste marks. The wall to the side of the mirror you can see toothpaste marks there as well. The shower area the only thing they do in the tub is rinse it with water. There was hair along side the walls on the toilet seat. and if you looked close enough there was hair behind the bathroom door alongside the walls. Now the kitchen. They do not wipe down the counters at all. The dishes in the dishwater are only run through water. When we came back and went to use the dishes there was food marks still on there. the glass and spoons had marks on them as well. I then had to put dish detergent in the dishwasher and run it again. The hallways smelly dingy as well. It is like they never clean the carpets. THE PRODUCTS THEY USE IF THEY USE ANY ARE CHEAP AND NASTY. THEY NEED TO RETRAIN OR HIRE NEW CLEANING PEOPLE. There are a few nice cleaning people but majority of them need to learn how to talk to guest and not make them feel uncomfortable. The guest who stay here regardless them being long term or short term pay money to stay here. The management does not use good cleaning products or the right equipment to clean. Cleaning also does not happen everyday day. I think it is twice a week. When you take money from us for staying there everyday you should have them clean the rooms everyday as well. I know Marriott is a very well know name. I have stayed at many around the world. I would say that the hotels in third world countries are way cleaner than the one here in Woodbridge NJ. Would i recommend anyone to stay here no never. Management really needs to step up their game in cleaning the place.

Kitchen light didn't work and mold in bathroom. Front desk contacts the manager and says it's not mold and every bathroom has it, and states I can't change rooms, doesn't even offer to clean it or replace bulb in Kitchen, it wasn't till I asked to speak to manager in person I was told manager left for the day. After calling customer service which was no help , and trying to book a new hotel they finally offered to change room. The manager was right soap scum mold was under their ,but not as bad as first room. Went and picked up bleach and lysol to clean, as we were running late for an event, no compensation or apologies on staff side

Upon arrival we were greeted by Faylin. She welcomed us for our previous retreat just a year ago so it was nice to be remembered. The staff were always friendly and accommodating. The weather allowed our group to enjoy the gathering space near the entryway equipped with bbq grill, seating area and fire pit. Just wonderful. Hope to be able to enjoy this lovey hotel again in the near future. ☺️

The room was great The property was clean The Continental breakfast was decent The only problem was no one ever came to make up our room and we asked several times and we had to go down and get our own towels because we ran out

I don't feel like going down the whole list of what Marriott Residence Inn hotel is all about, but I have had some experiences there that have made me want to cancel my membership. I had always stayed a lot because of my job having me to do lots of overtime. I could not really afford to cancel my membership but I started staying in more Hilton and IHG hotels. Some locations are very comfortable and up-to-date and others look like old 1920's men are still living in it. The Saddle River New Jersey location looks very outdated I always think I will see an old foster walking around smoking a pipe with that creepy green paint & brown wood. They know they should have updated that hotel with that spacious granite countertop that separates the kitchen from the livingroom at least.

I tried reaching out to various emails and have zero response. I had a room block for my wedding and almost 30 rooms were booked under my block. There were several issues on my wedding day. This should have been a seamless day. I booked a double room so that my bridesmaids and I could all get ready together on wedding day. On my wedding day, the staff asked us if we would be willing to give up our room because they double booked. I declined, but it was unbelievable that they would ask the bride to give up her room. I cannot fathom how they overbooked when we had a room block in place to avoid this. They also asked a few of my guests to give up their rooms for the same reason. My bridesmaid booked a room for the night before and of wedding day. This was supposed to be the same room, because why would she change rooms after one night? They made her switch rooms nonetheless. Once I checked into my room on wedding night, we realized it was the very room they kicked her out of. It even said “Good morning, 'her name'” on the television. Not only was this inconvenient for her, it was not the room that was promised to me and my husband. We were promised the “honeymoon suite” with a fireplace. I was also promised there would be three shuttles for my event, and there was only ONE. For all of my guests, there should have been the expected three shuttles. When deciding which hotel to choose, I toured the hotel and was told there would be three shuttles. This was very disappointing, as I had to wait for the shuttle to come back on my own wedding night. I was so excited to book with the Residence Inn because the property was nice and shuttles were included, however I was extremely disappointed and upset with the way everything turned out.

Not a bad Marriott overall. We go to a lot of these. The room was nice and very clean. The location is not really their fault and obviously if you decide to stop here then you decided to be here. The town seems like a cute place to spend time

Terrible, scammers at work here. BEWARE! They might try to overcharge your card for thousands of dollars multiple times during your stay. Go to Priceline and read the reviews there as well.

We were accused of stealing a pillow cushion by the front desk and charged 100.00 before reaching out to me. Thats fraud . Where's the security with our credit cards now where someone can simply charge your card without notice no way i would stay at any Marriott hotel ever again
