Maybe
I
just
don't
travel
enough?
The
last
dozen
hotels
I've
stayed
at
have
a
buffet-style
complimentary
breakfast.
The
Sheraton
Edison
NJ
has
the
same
subpar
buffet-style
breakfast,
BUT,
they
charge
you
$18
for
it!
I
don't
mind
paying
for
food,
but
this
is
just
a
complete
rip-off.
This
isn't
a
sit-down,
the
waiter
takes
your
order,
and
made-to-order
breakfast
is
brought
to
your
table.
This
is
a
buffet
with
mediocre
breakfast
for
3x
or
4x
the
cost
of
a
made-to-order
breakfast
at
pretty
much
any
diner
on
earth.
To
make
matters
worse,
there
is
no
warning
or
indication
that
you're
about
to
buy
an
$18
buffet
breakfast
with
powdered
eggs
and
stale
toast.
No
sign
warning
you
as
you
enter
the
breakfast
area
that
you're
about
to
embark
on
one
of
the
most
overprices
culinary
experiences
on
the
planet.
If
there
was,
it
certainly
wasn't
made
to
catch
your
attention.
So
you
walk
through
the
prison
cafeteria-style
line,
get
your
sloppy
eggs,
shriveled
sausage,
stale
toast,
and
unripe
apple,
sit
down
to
eat,
and
are
immediately
greeted
by
a
"waitress"
that
asks
if
you're
a
member
of
some
kind
of
club
or
if
you
have
a
"coupon".
If
not,
she
quickly
brings
you
the
bill
to
show
what
kind
of
mistake
you
just
made.
So
that's
my
main
gripe,
however,
it
doesn't
end
there.
The
walls
in
this
hotel
are
paper
thin.
I
thought
the
guys
next
door
to
me
were
IN
my
room.
I
was
awoken
at
2:30
am
by
a
woman
screaming
at
her
kids
about
2
floors
above
me.
I
was
certain
someone
was
breaking
in
my
room
at
one
point
but
realized
it
was
just
the
people
next
door
opening
their
room
door.
There
is
no
exhaust
fan
in
the
bathroom.
So
keep
the
door
open
when
you
shower,
but
the
mirror
will
still
fog
up.
The
water
comes
out
of
the
showerhead
yellow.
Not
sure
what
that
is,
but
it's
not
inviting.
Stains
on
the
ceiling.
No
real
heat
to
speak
of
in
the
bathroom.
Beds
are
some
of
the
most
uncomfortable
things
I've
ever
slept
on.
They
have
to
be
the
absolute
cheapest
mattress
you
can
buy.
All
this
for
more
than
an
average
hotel
stay.
It
was
explained
to
me
that
the
breakfast
is
$18
to
keep
the
room
cost
down,
but
the
room
cost
was
already
higher
than
some
other
hotels
in
the
area,
so
that
doesn't
make
any
sense
at
all.
I
don't
normally
write
a
lot
of
reviews
on
things,
but
this
place
was
terrible.
The
ONLY
thing
positive
I'll
say
is
that
the
staff
seemed
fairly
pleasant.
