I got this awful experience in this hotel and would like to share it with you all. I know there wont be any action taken but still trying to share it with larger audience. Better look for more options before facing disrespectful staff here. My family and my friends family stayed in this pretty good hotel for 3 nights from Jul 24 till Jul 26 actual reservation on my friend’s name Shiva Srikanth. Due to some changes in tour plans we requested to extend our reservation for one more night and lady at front desk did a quick help and said everything is set. Here comes the issue, we returned back to hotel on Jul 26th expecting the hotel room is still active on our names and proceeded to room. The room keys were not working and my wife was expecting to use the restroom and its urgency due to her health issue. So I went to front desk and requested the lady named “Kat” to help us with the key and there is urgency. The lady when requested for help arrogantly said to stand in line and never in a position to listen my needs. I agree there is big line in front of us and they are new customers waiting for check in. But situations like this at-least they should treat the existing customer with same respect as well. They should be in a position to listen the urgency. Is this the way existing guests in hotel are treated? My wife has to rush to public toilet and use it in urgency. I would like to bring to everyone’s notice before I take a legal action on the lady at front desk. Better they train their staff or at-least teach them to listen to guests and treat then with respect. We are paying here not staying here for free. Hope their management look into this as a serious concern and wont ignore this among the bunch of other negative feedbacks 😊

This Sheraton has a beautiful lobby, courteous staff and clean rooms but just that ! The cafe was not open on a Saturday afternoon and there are no club lounges. We were staying there for a conference and restrooms didn’t have a working faucet. The check in process for the large group was a total confusion and hotel folios were sent incorrectly to different parties. Hotel staff are courteous and nice but these gaps need to fixed.

We did a nearly 50-60 person room block here, and even things agreed on in a contract didn’t happen like a shuttle to and from our venue. In fact, the rates weren’t even necessarily competitive but we hoped that some of the other things the hotel could do would make it worthwhile for us to do our wedding room block here. Between the hotel being short staffed for guests doing check in, the items that didn’t happen as expected in the contract like the shuttle and other things - would not recommend this hotel for a group - especially a wedding.

Our stay was excellent. The room was clean and ready at check in. We had a great night’s rest and a great breakfast at the hotel restaurant. Linda and Jordan at the front desk were amazing. They were professional, courteous and very expedited.

I am currently staying here for a work trip. Upon check-in, the front desk staff was very kind and helpful. The room is clean, and comfortable. I returned from dinner my first night, and the air conditioning was not working. I let the front desk know, and they immediately sent up maintenance. Mo was kind, and did his best to fix it. However, he couldn't find it, so instead he went down and ask for them to change my rooms. It was a very easy move, and the new room was nice and crisp. Overall they building is a bit dated, but for the price and the service is fantastic. Breakfast was delicious, and it was very convenient having a Starbucks downstairs.

I recently stayed at the Sheraton hotel in Edison, NJ, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that my check-in was smooth and hassle-free. The room was immaculate, with modern amenities and a comfortable bed that provided a restful night’s sleep. The hotel’s attention to cleanliness and hygiene was commendable, especially in these times. The on-site dining options were fantastic, offering a diverse menu with delicious food. I especially enjoyed the breakfast spread, which had something for everyone. The location of the hotel is convenient, with easy access to major highways and nearby attractions. Whether you’re in town for business or leisure, the Sheraton Edison is a perfect choice. I cannot praise the staff enough for their friendliness and professionalism. They went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable, and I truly appreciated their efforts. Carlos is the best! In summary, the Sheraton hotel in Edison, NJ, is a top-notch establishment that I highly recommend. I will definitely be returning for another stay in the future. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

I am currently a guest at this hotel due to business. The front desk staff and manager were very friendly upon arrival. I got to my room and everything seemed OK (despite the trash I found on the floor). While getting ready to go to bed I noticed a possible bedbug crawling on the sheets near the headboard. I took a video of it and showed it to Kat at the front desk who seemed very annoyed that I was complaining about a bug being in my hotel bed. Reluctantly, she gave me another room. When I arrived to said room, it smelled like an ashtray. I don’t smoke and originally paid for a non-smoking room. I went back to the desk to notify her and she literally looked at me and rolled her eyes. I normally stay at 4 or 5 star facilities when I travel but decided to give this hotel a try since there aren’t many options in this area. Sheraton is a well known hotel chain so I figured it would be fine. Some pros of the establishment are the bar and Starbucks located inside the facility. However, due to my poor experience, I don’t think I would recommend this hotel to others at this time.

Currently here for a work trip! The staff beginning at checkout was exceptional, friendly, and fast. Daniela at the bar is AMAZING and made sure I received great service, felt welcome, and most importantly, her drinks are SUPERB! Thank you Daniela and team for such a great stay! Only thing, is that I wish the hotel was located in an area with more fun activities to do and restaurants nearby.

The person who cleaned room 1212 Dec4-7 was absolutely amazing. They organized my products in the bathroom, folded a few items i laid out and made sure everything was perfect. They exceeded my expectation. Carlos allowed me to eat breakfast when it was past time as he was in the process of breaking it down. He already removed the juice from the room but asked why type i would like and brought it to me. Not only that, he topped it off by bring me a strawberry yogurt, too. He exceeded my expectations, too.

United Airlines put us up at the Edison. Was a nice surprise since it's just been renovated. Very nice rooms and front desk was good enough to help us with a shuttle. We had lunch there too. Highway location, but nice hotel.

  • 4/5 Sergei B. 6 months ago on Google
I give this place, solid 4 stars. I have to say this hotel in my mind is purely for business travelers, because there are no attractions around it and it is located in a business park with a bunch of offices around you. This part of Edison has zero sidewalks, and no nearby park that you could walk to. The hotel itself looks pretty good after the renovation, however, it was not very nice to see poor work by contractors, living cracks between the ceiling and the crown molding in the rooms. It did not affect overall experience of the stay. But if you are renovating a space try to do a good job to keep the current customers and attract new ones. Note to hotel maintenance: please do regular check ups of the rooms on the subject of clogged shower drains.

The hotel is nice & clean. The staff is friendly. The bed is fairly comfortable. The bar is open later than other hotels in the area. Which is great for guests who are in town working long days & just want a couple hours to relax & unwind. I would gladly recommend this hotel to others.

Do not come here thinking they have a shuttle service. Eight of us were left stranded after our flight was canceled and the airline offered this hotel option. The description said they were supposed to have service until 1 am and at 12:30 am we were told no more shuttles were coming. We had to find alternate transportation and arrived at 2 am. To make matters worse, the daytime shuttle also leaves 7-10 minutes before the hour, so I had to wait a whole hour after check out because my shuttle left early. Obviously, the driver makes up his own hours. Don't expect him to stop at all terminals either. He goes to one and you have to find your own way to the other terminals. After all the stress of the previous night, I was woken up twice. The maid knocked on my door around 9 in the morning even though I had hung up the privacy sign on my door. Before that, the room's alarm clock went off around 6 AM even though I did not set it. Obviously whoever cleaned the room did not make sure that that alarm clock was deactivated. I regret coming to this place even though I am a Marriott Silver Elite member. Never again.

Five stars isn't enough if I could give them more, it's a Sheraton, Sheraton Addison, I stayed 4 nights, if you're lucky you'll meet Daisy (hope I spelled the name right) she greeted us with a lovely smile and was helpful from the moment we arrived, my reservation was 3 rooms I arrived early before the check-in time, did not make me wait, I prepared one room for us to rest in, waiting for the rest of the rooms to be prepared. The hotel in general is nice in a quiet area for those looking for calm during sleep. Excellent, there are restaurants and a supermarket 10 minutes away by car

This is only our second stay at Sheraton. The other was in Atlantic City. This one in Edison could benefit from a good scrubbing of the lobby furniture as well as the furniture in the room. There were stains all over the place. However, the overall cleanliness was good. The swimming pool was nice and easy to access. Agacent to the gym... which looked great, and many people were utilizing it. We took advantage of the on-site restaurant for lunch and then again breakfast. Overall, it was good food, and in line with what I expected after my experience thus far. The staff was very pleasant and kind. The linen in the rooms was good, but it was not quite up to the Marriott standards, I believe. If you have a choice to stay for a business trip or a short stay, I would recommend it.

I traveled to Jersey frequently. I always stay at this hotel. This hotel has improved tremendously, their services updated room and staff courtesy. I have to particularly mention their front desk, representative Katie she is always courteous, polite, and very helpful. There’s not one single time she did not greet me with a smile and eager to help. Thank you Katie you always make my stay. Feel just like home.

The restaurant staff is AWESOME. I've had the pleasure to meet servers Steven, Paneer, and Anderson; all were attentive, polite and very courteous. Even the chef, Alphonso, came out to greet us. Excellent service!

Absolute stunning hotel. The entrance leading up to the property is beautiful and when you arrive you receive a lovely warm welcome. We were greeted and shown around the property by one of the front of house (sorry cannot remember her name indian lady). She was very professional and took her time to show us around and answer all questions. We had two view rooms, both were lovely and very clean.

Stayed here on New Years Eve and the first room we were given was filthy. Someone else’s hair was in the shower and sink and a full blown exposed black mold patch on the wall. We then moved floors and the second room had hair in the shower as well and broken piece of glass on the bathroom floor that I stepped on. It was musty and just overall not clean. If they can’t keep a hotel room clean they definitely aren’t following Covid policy and I was extremely sick the week following. I called and spoke to the front desk, was transferred to the Manager and left a message. It’s been four days and I still haven’t heard back. I’m livid that I had to pay for such a dirty and awful experience. This hotel is full of mold and not taken care of. Do not stay here.

Nice hotel, the location is a bit of an inconvenience because around the hotel it's just warehouses. The rooms were nice and spacious. Stayed on the 28 and 29. Starbucks in the hotel was good. Will come back again if in the Edison area. One negative is that the breakfast options are limited.

  • 1/5 Philip L. 2 years ago on Google
Maybe I just don't travel enough? The last dozen hotels I've stayed at have a buffet-style complimentary breakfast. The Sheraton Edison NJ has the same subpar buffet-style breakfast, BUT, they charge you $18 for it! I don't mind paying for food, but this is just a complete rip-off. This isn't a sit-down, the waiter takes your order, and made-to-order breakfast is brought to your table. This is a buffet with mediocre breakfast for 3x or 4x the cost of a made-to-order breakfast at pretty much any diner on earth. To make matters worse, there is no warning or indication that you're about to buy an $18 buffet breakfast with powdered eggs and stale toast. No sign warning you as you enter the breakfast area that you're about to embark on one of the most overprices culinary experiences on the planet. If there was, it certainly wasn't made to catch your attention. So you walk through the prison cafeteria-style line, get your sloppy eggs, shriveled sausage, stale toast, and unripe apple, sit down to eat, and are immediately greeted by a "waitress" that asks if you're a member of some kind of club or if you have a "coupon". If not, she quickly brings you the bill to show what kind of mistake you just made. So that's my main gripe, however, it doesn't end there. The walls in this hotel are paper thin. I thought the guys next door to me were IN my room. I was awoken at 2:30 am by a woman screaming at her kids about 2 floors above me. I was certain someone was breaking in my room at one point but realized it was just the people next door opening their room door. There is no exhaust fan in the bathroom. So keep the door open when you shower, but the mirror will still fog up. The water comes out of the showerhead yellow. Not sure what that is, but it's not inviting. Stains on the ceiling. No real heat to speak of in the bathroom. Beds are some of the most uncomfortable things I've ever slept on. They have to be the absolute cheapest mattress you can buy. All this for more than an average hotel stay. It was explained to me that the breakfast is $18 to keep the room cost down, but the room cost was already higher than some other hotels in the area, so that doesn't make any sense at all. I don't normally write a lot of reviews on things, but this place was terrible. The ONLY thing positive I'll say is that the staff seemed fairly pleasant.

Great hotel with semi spacious rooms that offer great amenities such as coffee, slippers, hygienic products, combs etc. However the front desk staff seemed like they didn't want to help you whenever you needed something. Midday/afternoon and night staff are super helpful and really nice. Morning staff not so much. Locked out of your room? The morning staff will do the least they can to help you. Need slippers? They don't carry them even though it is listed on the amenities paper. This only goes for the morning staff.

My stay at this Sheraton as a whole was very good. The front desk was very respectful and helpful. Everything turned for the worst as I checked out of the hotel. Mistakingly I left my $300 Calvin Klein jacket in the closet rushing to get my flight back to Florida. The front office staff confirmed that it was found and put to the side for someone to come pick it up, all be it a couple of days later once the jacket was being picked up it was stolen from their office by one of their own employees. Instead of reimbursement for the cost of my jacket i was told i should be satisfied with half the cost because I did not have a receipt for the jacket. Not only did they steal my belonging they tried to pacifying with either money out of their pockets not to mention not even fully compensating me for my belongings. I did not ask anything unreasonable just what was mine. If the jacket never turned up to begin with i would have chalked it up as a lost but the fact that it was found and then stole. Shows me how unethical the workers at this establishment are.

It's a pleasant location. The rooms are quite spacious and well maintained. You have everything what you need in the room for your stay. Only flip side is no complimentary breakfast and the convenient store is also not having much option to grab quickly. An Oven in the room may able to fill this gap.

  • 2/5 Marius K. 1 year ago on Google
First of all, there's no restaurant only the bar. The pool is tiny. How on earth can you have a pool so small for an entire hotel? If you have 3 people in the pool it's standing room only practically. The workout room is so dark you can hardly see in there. Why? Are they trying to discourage you from using it? Mission accomplished. They're not offering anything here.

There are so many bad things about this hotel I don’t know where to start. I stayed here for 7 days and first they told us we could get free water and then the 3rd day they started charging us for water as there’s no “complimentary water” I don’t mind paying for it but at least don’t tell us “it’s free for us” on the first day. The room service doesn’t work. The phone in the room to call room service doesn’t work and nobody ever picks it up. I specially had to do down and even then i wasn’t served. There’s no ventilation in the washroom. There’s no switch for it and neither do they work. The breakfast was terrible. I tried it for 2 days and then ended up having breakfast outside for the rest of my trip. The rooms were decent but not worth it. I hope they improve it.

High quality bedding and rooms. However the staff seems incompetent. 45 minutes after leaving our belongings in our room another individual was "given" our room. We found him outside our room and apologetic that he now has our room keys and was told it was his room. My pregnant wife was not happy. This is unacceptable. There was also a bag of dirty clothes left by the previous occupant that house keeping missed. This does not speak well of management.

Oh my God. We had a group of 10 couples reservations at Sheraton. We all had great experience n so clean room n good breakfast. The best thing about that is Their Front Desk Receptionist KATIE she us wonderful. Super amazing and very helpful. She guides us on each step n even helps us to get two extra rooms at om such short notice. This hotel is stand high because of their talented employee Katie. We will all be back. We definitely recommend this hotel to friends n family. Again, thank you, Katie. KATIE is wonderful ❤️

The hotel and lobby look very nice. The room smelled good and was clean. The TV was huge and the shower was enjoyable good pressure plenty of space. But after a long day of sightseeing and fun with friends. You want to unwind on a comfy bed. This room had a low bed with no support, the pillows were like deflated tires.the bed felt slanted. The fridge is tiny and NO MICROWAVE. That is why this review is 2 stars. If I can't sleep well at a hotel then the rest doesn't matter to me

Check in was a problem.. I was not given early check in as requested (2 pm instead of 3pm) even though I am gold elite, this is fine and understandable. Finally when they checked me in at 3 I was not given upgrade even though I am gold elite which is also fine and understandable as maybe they didn’t have any upgrades. When I went to my floor the supervisor on that floor said there is some mistake in room allocation so again I had to take my family and all luggage to check in counter where we spent another 10 mins to get new room assigned. In the room the shower floor was slippery and sticky which means it wasn’t cleaned properly. There was only one tea bag and 2 sachets of sugar. No water bottle. No body wash in bathroom. Limited number of towels (just 2). No breakfast. When we went to swimming pool the key card was not working, we got new keys made but even those not working which means the lock itself was bad. In the shower there was no hot water… not even lukewarm water which is pathetic. Highly disappointed to face such issues with Marriott brand that too for gold elite member.

Hotel looks quite nice, at first. We had a room on the 12th floor that was a decent size. I actually loved the decor, until I started really examining the room. The tong for the ice bucket had crusted food ALL over it. This immediately gave me anxiety about the cleanliness of the rest of the room. Unfortunately it didn’t end there. The travel sized body lotion on the sink in the bathroom was OPEN and USED . There was a SINGLE tissue in the box. Just the ‘decorative’ dirty one they stuff in the top. We are titanium elite members and requested 4pm check out. First there is pounding on our door, then calls with no one on the other end of the line, more pounding and no response when we called out and informed them that we have late check out. This did not stop until we left around 2pm. I really don’t love making a fuss because there is sometimes a lack of communication between the front desk and housekeeping, but this was ridiculous. We were more frustrated than rested by the time we departed. I am genuinely upset. Definitely not recommending this location nor will we be returning. I should’ve have taken the reviews more seriously.

Room was good. Bartender was atrocious, probably has the worst customer service I have ever encountered (and that comes from a hospitality background). Club lounge is only offered between 9:30AM-11:30AM. Staff seems to make their own hours. Would not return.

Didn't give us our first night's breakfast vouchers. We had to ask for the next day's vouchers... These should be given without asking. No blow dryer in room, not enough coffee in room. Had to ask for toothpaste... For the price... It was meh.

Our stay at Sheraton Edison wasn’t ideal from the start. Upon our arrival, one of the women at check-in, while very sweet, touched our 4-month-old baby without permission (during cold/flu/RSV/COVID season, at a time when the news is reporting that children’s ERs and PICUs have no beds available, no less). We then went back out to the car and waited nearly 10 minutes for the bellhop despite being one of two parties arriving. The bellhop, upon his arrival thoughtlessly hung a heavy paper bag on the top hook of the luggage cart, which immediately fell causing our groceries to fall to the pavement, including an entire tray of brownies that opened and fell on the ground. He threw them all back in the container and said nothing and put them back in the bag. Thankfully, I witnessed this and we were able to throw them in the garbage rather than eat them. Upon arriving at our room, we were disappointed to see that we were placed in a room right in front of the elevator despite having an infant with us. We were all awoken many times in the night and morning due to guests coming and going despite playing white noise in our room at the highest volume allowed. Not a very restful nights’ sleep, which is unfortunate after and before a long day of driving. Upon arriving in our room and using the bathroom, we immediately discovered that there was leftover hair in the shower, as well as caked-on shampoo on the walls, and unidentifiable residue spots on the shower floor. It clearly hadn’t been cleaned well (or maybe at all) and as a result we were unable to shower during our stay. While many things about our stay were not up to par, this wouldn’t be an honest review without sharing the good as well. Worth noting: the hotel and room (outside of the shower) were clean and well-decorated, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, the TVs offer great streaming options, the location was a convenient stop right off the highway for our holiday roadtrip, and the onsite Starbucks was also convenient. Overall, we would possibly stay again in a pinch, but would recommend potential guests check out other hotels in the area such as the Delta, Courtyard, Hilton, Homewood Suites, or Watt Hotel prior to booking.

I have recently moved away from NJ and have to travel to Edison, NJ frequently for work. a I usually stay a day or two to work around the area. | have booked and tried a few other hotels in the area in the past 3 months but the Sheraton has been the best. Katie at the front desk is always wonderful to deal with. She's very professional, cheerful and considerate. Other staff give you a warm welcome and make sure that you feel like home away from home. The rooms are meticulously clean, kudos to great housekeeping. The amenities are superb, precisely what you'd expect from a Marriott backed brand. I The only thing that I feel is a drawback is the bar hours which could be extended to a little longer. Other than that, I have had a perfect stay experience in the recent 3 to 4 times that I have stayed with them. E And needless to say, this is my go to hotel whenever I'm in or around the area. * Highly recommended!

Had a wedding a block for 20 rooms plus, Firoz mad my life easy, changed rooms, gave us some personal touches, and just worked with us the whole way with our budget! Wedding booking turned out flawless thanks thanks to Firoz. I’m not easy deal with but the manager made it easy! Recommend 10/10 for price and renovations and closeness to all halls!

The gentlemen that helped us get into the room was very helpful and polite. The heat did not work the entire weekend. We called them twice to try to get it fixed they did nothing. Rather than loading up all out stuff and going elsewhere the first night we had a blow dryer and the shower going to heat up the room. It did not do very much. The second night we had to buy a space heater to be able to sleep. The room was 56-57 degrees. The whole entire building was pretty chilly but our room like an ice box. I will never stay at this particular hotel ever again. The day we checked out they said the manager would get back to us. This never happened. They have money for fancy tables in the room but not money to fix the heat apparently. 2 weeks prior we stayed at a different Sheraton that was the complete opposite of this place. It was very shocking to see the lack of professionalism and hospitality.

I booked 2 rooms at this Sheraton due to its proximity to the Woodbridge Mall. My family & I were attending the Circus Vazquez event. We had requested rooms close by to each other, on an upper floor & these requests were met. The rooms are a bit dated but clean. The employees were very attentive. Night Engineer responded to our late air conditioning problem very quickly & corrected this (I believe this was Ally. I remember he was Dominican). In the morning we enjoyed breakfast in the Lounge, where Carlos took very good care of us, making sure we did not lack for anything! He especially made it fun for my grandkids (their 1st time in a hotel). Employees like these truly make the experience unforgettable.
