There were quite a few issues. The place is old and the dance floor is very substandard. We bought two tickets on line at $25 each plus a surcharge so let's round it up to $60 for tickets to a defunct catering place. When we arrived the parking lot was coned off. They shook us down for $5 valet parking. Inside we were chased out of empty booths marked reserved which went unused all night. If you didn't have VIP tickets you were treated like second class citizens. They even segregated that small horrible dance floor with velvet ropes. VIPs were only allowed near the empty stage all night. Drinks were over priced. The acts didn't start until around 11:40. The opening act was horrible because the music was so loud she couldn't get in tune. I'm sure she is talented, music was too loud for her. By 12:30 our group of 16 got tired of waiting for George Lamond and left. We will never go back to Pure. All guests should be treated like VIPs. I've been to the best clubs in NYC and patrons were never treated badly. We were at the Palms Disco night the week before. For a $20 cover we were treated like royalty. Small burgers, egg rolls and fruit skewers were offered FREE. Drinks were reasonably priced, $4 a beer. Seating for everyone. Nice dance floor that was not segregated. So I wish the Palms had continuous Disco Nights Pure was a pure disappointment.

The place is nice but it needs more variety of beer 🍻 and sometimes there isn't even hand soap in the bathrooms... but still and it's good for partying👌

Is a great place for a bar mitzvah. Had fun and looks like everyone else did. Great location and only thing is hard to find parking entrance. Everything from the staff and the food was spectacular. I would love to host my wedding here or and other events. Wish it was a night club because that would be a cool place. For a new Yorker going to a venue like this in NJ it was worth the trip and time to get here.

Beautiful establishment but the hookah was HORRIBLE for the Jim Jones event last night! Why would you use new coles randomly for an event that's so popular and charge $100 bucks for seating and hookah when you know your hookah is garbage? Find a new hookah girl with her ish together! Definitely wasn't cool and customer's got the ish end of the stick! Plus Jimmy only preformed for like ten minutes and the show was over! Totally not worth any of the money I spent! Throw the entire event AWAY! LITERALLY GARBAGE

Excellent place to go dancing, spacious, comfortable, with parking service, reasonable prices and plenty of room to dance. The organizers bring the best groups in their genres.

Just had my nieces sweet 16, great place, everyone had a good time but I think they kinda stinged us on price. We were under budget and then all the sudden there were all these "fees". So be careful with Money, but it was an amazing place for a party.. I remember when it was club abyss and they had teen night. Still pretty cool

I had my 50th party here and the venue was beautiful set up to my liking and they were very easy and pleasant to do business with

Jesse “Griffon” Domanski from Pure event group is an AMAZING AND TALENTED MC. TRULY THE BEST! He was recommended by so many people and when we had our first meeting (after meeting with many other DJs) we knew that he was our guy. Having as much experience as he does and being married himself the past year his expertise and suggestions were unmatched. He played the best songs, we could not get off the dance floor because he played a hit song after hit song. Jesse kept the dance floor full all night. He also suggested things that we would have not known to do ourselves and everyone loved them and had a blast. I highly HIGHLY recommend Jesse and Pure event group if you want your wedding to be an unforgettable event for all.

Place is recently renovated with a modern theme throught. Spacious and stylish. Lightening and location of DJ Booth was great. Bathrooms were clean and appropriately kept. Attended a baby shower there. Definitely an amazing event space.

Our MC Tyler at Pure Energy helped make our wedding AWESOME! He took the time to meet with us prior to the event yo make sure all the details were taken care of. He listened to want we wanted and he delivered!!! Our guests were swaying that have not been to a wedding that fun in a long time! My feet were killing me from dancing so much! Thank you Pure Energy, especially Tyler and Griffon! You made it happen!!

Lost my jacket. Total coat check chaos. Clients in the room looking for their misplaced jacket. Valet was a complete failure. They were just giving people their keys and saying go find your car. My truck they couldnt find my keys. Finally they said they are probably on your front left tire. I found my truck but wouldnt start. A nice valet kid came over and said my pod was probably frozen from bring on my tire. He took few minutes to get it defrosted. He refused to take my tip due to the aggravation I went through

Went to visit this place as an option for a Bar Mitzvah party and the place was beautiful! The manager was waiting at the front door to greet us and shows us around the place. It has 2 floors, 2 bars, cocktail lounge, game room, and a large dance area.
