A hidden gem: tiny garden at the bottom of Arthur’s seat with a gorgeous view of the water. Definitely worth a visit! It’s free to enter. When we were there was also a beautiful art exhibition that we visited. A great spot!

I could have stay here forever. It is heaven on earth. So beautiful and peaceful. And the tearoom is also nice to visit. The lady who is working there is so lovely. I really recommend this place!

Fabulous place, relaxing, quiet! We could hear the birds and wind, the water. It was indeed one of the most peaceful places I've ever been to!

Lovely decorated garden close to the hills, so you can combine visiting them in one shot. Going there by bus is super easy and I loved the option to donate something by tapping - that is modern 🙌🍀 Great opportunity to chill and enjoy good gardening

Hidden oasis of calm. Well worth a visit. A nice short walk around a well laid out garden. Lovel views over Duddingston Loch. Note there are steep steps.

Such a beautiful and peaceful place, I randomly decided to visit when I was waiting in the laundry room. After 40 minute’s walk I get there. Perfect time to visit because of the cherry blossom and other flowers blooming, but I am sure this is always a great place to visit any season. People in the cafe were soooo nice🥰 One lady told me how to get back to the downtown patiently❤️ Btw, a fantastic experience having a afternoon tea in the garden:)

A hidden gem. A place to relax during the day away from the hustle and bustle of city life. There are plenty of seats to sit and reflect. The birds on the loch provide some entertainment. If you want to learn about herbal medicine then read the notice next to the herbal area. We will be back, don’t tell too many people, keep the secret 😉

This is not just a random place. It's a secret garden, and it's absolutely fantastic. It's been taken care of with great care. One lady told me that it was started by a marriage of doctors, who brought plants from all around the world. Definitely will be coming here more often. Loved it 😍😍😍

Lovely rustic and wild little garden. Slightly tricky to find. No cafe in off peak season (but bonus it's quieter!) The gate can be sticky so might need to give it a bit of a push!

Such a beautiful place for an afternoon tea with a view. The place contains an open all week garden looking over the lake. If you love watching ducks and goose swimming and playing in a lake that's the right place to be. The cafeteria offers some delicious homemade cakes, muffins, and different gluten free bakeries and snacks. You can grap a cup of tea with your beloved ones while enjoying this magnificent view.

A former private garden opened to the public. The whole complex looks intimate and very different than if a garden architect had designed it. Absolutely worth seeing.

Pictures alone didn’t do the justice how magnificent it was to be there. It doesn’t feel like in Edinburgh… I can sit for hours to enjoy the beautiful view. Too bad the entrance was a bit hard to find (it was my first time there and I was confused by Google Maps).

We were at the Kirk and had a look over the wall but couldn’t find the way in. lol We were trying to find a ride with no service after being dropped at the Sheeps Heid which was closed for a private party. It looked so lovely and peaceful. Wish we had time to go back and have a wander.

It’s nice and calm place. Free to visit. Plenty of branches to sit and enjoy the life. Less maintained then it deserves
