I have climbed this track on numerous occasions when visiting Perth. There's about 150 steps, but it's not a really steep ascent & there's plenty of rest stops on the way up for the not so fit. I enjoy reading the plaques on the way up which clearly demonstrates the bravery of the real pioneers of the original Kakodo track veterans.

Nice short bush walking track, but it might be a bit steep and strenuous for the not so fit.

I’ve shed a few kilos up this track. Just the best for cardio and leg strengthening.

What to keep fit then this is for you. Be careful on a rainy day maybe slippery. Go to the bottom to mounts bay road sit and relax then come back to the top again. Beautiful birds singing while you’re walking. Well restored. Definitely recommend advice do stretch’s before attempting. Lots of resting points and seating on way. Advice to keep water with you your definitely need to hydrate. 5 stars.

🫀 The view up the tower is a bit disappointing as it's not high enough. I was expecting to be wowed but it didn't happen. Cool design though but could have done with two or three more levels.
