YUM! Wow. Yum! One of the delights of visiting Malaysia and Singapore is having a fresh made Roti Canai- home made, freshly cooked. And how lucky is Perth to have The Sarapan making them for us. The roti is perfectly balanced with crispy outside, flaky bits, and chewy inside. Tasty curry and Dhal to dipping to. Catering for both expats and western breakfast it is perfect for all. Thanks so much to the owners of The Sarapan for creating this restaurant for us to enjoy 🙏🏻😊 If you love Malaysian food, this is a delight!

Had karipap for appetizer, roti telur bawang and roti tampal for main course and roti tisu for dessert. Had teh tarik to wash it all down. It was amazing. The place was cosy and homely. It reminds me of home. The staff were very warm and welcoming. Highly recommended for Malaysian food lovers. 👌

The quality of the food is superb. My family came here years ago and recommended me to try it since it was my first time in Aussie and it was one of the best nasi lemaks ive had. The staff were really friendly. It is a popular spot so do make reservations if you can. We were lucky there were still seats left when we walked in.

Authentic flavours, quality food. Lovely Nasi Kerabu and the fried chicken always great here. Very busy eatery and always full, reserve table prior. Variety of selections of Malaysian kuih. Teh Tarik and espresso coffees is good. Shop have table QR code to order meals + food pictures. Note: parking can be difficult.

We had a very sumptuous brunch today at The Sarapan at South Perth, and it didn’t disappoint our first visit. Ambiance was so cozy and the staff were really nice as well. We didn’t wait too much time for our foods to arrive at our table so that’s a plus points for them🫰🏼 Value for money were spot on! Generous portions and flavour wise you can really taste the authenticity of the Malaysian cuisine at their menu

This is a lovely little place that really reminds me of Malaysia. Food quality is good here and importantly they have dishes on the menu that I haven’t been able to find in too many other places. The staples (mostly the rice dishes) are done very well and are portioned generously. The chilli can definitely bite so just be careful if you’re chilli-averse. I was so happy that they had the roti tissue available, as a dessert this is an absolute must try. They also have a good selection of kueh which is a win, can’t really find that many places nowadays. Venue is nice, slightly hard to find - drove straight past it twice but otherwise quite spacious and can fit large groups with ease. Parking is easy, free street parking all around. Service was good, the food came out fast and the waitstaff are very friendly. If you’re a lover of Malaysian-esque cuisine then this is a must try, definitely one of the better places in Perth for this kind of food.

Very busy at times. Limited parking at back of premise. Food wise it's a 5. The sambal is above par and the rice in the nasi lemak is very fragrant. Teh tarik is a tad on the sweet side but still very nice. Coffee is awesome as they use Queen Bee coffee.

Gorgeous little corner restaurant with great ambience. Food was absolutely amazing and at a very generous price point. Took me back to my travels around Malaysia. We'll be back.
