Beautiful little gem on Albany Hwy in Vic Park. Both the savoury muffin and pecan pie were delicious. Coffee is well made and the produce in the glass cabinet looks very tasty. I am excited about returning for an evening meal, the menu looked lovely.

Great undiscovered Cafe/Deli, owned by legendary Gino, known for his great array of Italian specialities, cakes, foods, drinks, brilliant coffee range, always a treat to visit and swap a few laughs with customers and Staff alike. Its a homely little Cafe with much to peruse over, to eat, to take away, to enjoy. Packed full of goodies even a Canola Cake front and center to encourage buying, try it, you'll love it, don't tell anyone about it though, let's all keep it a secret 👋👋

I agree with earlier reviews - this place is a gem. We should support places like this, as they bring variety and interest to the strip. It's not the typical "cheap and cheerful noodle house" or "bubble tea" place, so please support them. We need this variety, don't we? The menu is small but perfectly formed. The ambience is modern, restrained and stylish. The service was attentive and friendly. The more senior staff clearly set a good standard, because the youngsters were spot on too. On the day we were there, ordering was "self serve" at the counter. I am not sure if this their usual, or was due to shortage of staff. Personally i think this is a great idea - it frees up the staff to do more important things, rather than waiting at your table while you think about what you are choosing. It also means they can cope with the difficulty in recruiting staff right now, as they can cope with a full house even with lower numbers of staff. And it must keep costs down, which helps them keep their prices in check, and make a profit. And we do want this place to succeed. Both dishes we had were lovely - spaghetti with crab and prawns, and swordfish. A few more prawns might have been nice, but it was still delicious, freshly cooked, and perfect consistency. The food is not cheap, but in my opinion you get what you pay for. The wine selection is small but good - I was impressed that they carry a few unusual wines. Notably a yummy "Pecorino" which is an unusual variety from central Italy, which i discovered on holiday there not long ago. It's not what you expect from Aussie whites - it's quite fruity and fragrant, yet still carries enough dryness and acidity. Worth a try IMO. Why not give this place a go?

Visiting from Melbourne… would happily get my daily coffee from here - it was great coffee! Food & service was just about on par with the coffee. The only let down was having to switch tables 3 times - they had both front & back doors wide open - allowing a cold breeze right through the line of seats/tables where we were sitting. Would happily return.

Being from a country town, I was introduced to this little gem by a taxi driver that knows everyone :-) Gino, the owner operator, was genuinely interested in our dining experience. A home made Chicken, Leek and Potatoe Pie tasted as good as it looked. Washed down with a perfect coffee. Quick service from friendly staff and spotlessly clean too...

Hidden gem for dinner and drinks and one of the best spots on the vic park strip for coffee. Will only get better too. For dinner we had the ragu and the gnocchi with prawns, followed by a delicious wobbly panna cotta - was all outstanding - but the small menu changes frequently so take your pick on the night
