Great display of collections of arts, history, evolution, etc. Very educational and informative. One hour is not enough to visit each floor of the exhibit. Young and old alike will surely enjoy their time inside the museum. Well preserved collections of animals that can only be found in Australia. Will try and return for another visit. Lay out is perfect for a better appreciation of visitors. Souvenir shop is situated at the lobby near the entrance.

Fun museum with many cool exhibits. One of my personal favourites were the electoral microscopes hooked up to screens. It was really interesting to see the fine detail of different items.

Nice area with free access with a small park like area and in the center of Perth. Easy access to the art gallery of Western Australia, the bus stop and the main shopping area of Perth.

Great performances enjoyed by everyone. Unfortunately rain at 4pm dispersing the crowds. Zidiac animals were not in order. I wonder why?

The collections and meticulous arrangements are breathtaking! An excellent tour for families especially, but also for individuals. Went there thinking we could finish the tour in a few hours. Well, that is impossible. The display is so extensive that it would take repeated visits over a few days to see it all. So worth the time and effort, and can’t wait to return!

Beautiful place! We came here to grab some freshly made pretzels from the pink container! Lots of students around this area. There's also a library nearby.

Cool spot. It needs a bit of an upgrade, they are removing the mini lake thing which isn't cool because some rare birds visit here. Biodiversity is important.

Really needs work. My guess their storerooms are full. Yet displays are empty. Lack of details. Lack of information. Inaccurate photos and usually rotated incorrectly. No wow factor when you arrive like most other museums world wide and interstate. I will return as believe so many people will complain next time will be great. Also Egyptian area was not open June 23 but coming soon 😲

I used to come here often when I needed a place to work on my laptop. The bottom floor has a range of tables, plug ports and seating available for the public to use for free. There is also a small cafe and public bathrooms within a comfortable and quiet environment. The only thing is, it would be best to arrive early if you want a decent seat as tables and seating get taken up quickly both during the week and on weekends. Staff are available if you have any enquiries, there is also security and upper floors for further research purposes.

Great public space. I love that you can bring a kid for an event and if they don't enjoy it you can take them to the playground; or the sandpit or sprayers outside the museum; or into the kids area in the library. I wish there were more coffee options - Epoch cafe is nice but quite expensive.

The steps are an awkward size to walk up and down and like... It's a place you walk through to get to places? Why am I reviewing this? I guess if you want to visit nearby areas you'll need to walk through/across it but I wouldn't call it a destination. I don't know whether I miss the big screen or not. On one hand who doesn't like random cool animated or visual arts stuff, on the other hand I don't go out to watch tv 🤷‍♂️

Beautiful view with multiple beams of light during night time at Perth Cultural Center. Between us is a public art and community engagement project that considers the ‘space between’. Enjoy this free event till 6 march 2023 nightly from 8PM-12AM.

This has definitely come a long way over the years. It wasn't safe years ago to walk around here, but now it's all lit up and usually you can find something happening. Some shows, entertainment, food trucks or carnivals, there's always something around here. It's great to come here in summer when the weather is good. At the moment the christmas lights are out so it's a great time to explore

One's personal experience of the Perth Cultural Centre will be based on their personal views of culture, expectation and perhaps the time of day or whether there is a co-inciding event being held.

There's a lot to do in the area including the West Australian Art Gallery, PICA, PICA Bar, the new remodelled West Australian Museum (Boola Bardip) and the Alexander Library. Many are free of admission charge. The area also has some outdoor activities for kids. Parking is close by but some can be very expensive.

Last weekend I visited here with my family and really enjoyed the atmosphere.Amazing museum and art centre to visit. So many really good interactive display. It’s overall a lengthy tour you’ll need minimum 2 hours to explore, if you’re a food lover and need a break in between don't worry there are many stores and cafes nearby in walking distance.

The New WA Museum has excelled itself. So many really good interactive displays - everything was simple pull out drawers to active play which will really appeal for primary aged kids. We had allowed 2 hours for it as we had been part of the "First 50,000" group tours, but 2 hours was definitely not enough. I think it probably could have worked better for us, if there was a rest n revive point somewhere on level 2 - even a street cart kind of drink station, light snacks, healthy choices or even changed up each month/week for different cultural foods. By the time we had done level 2, I think we only got through the first third of level 1 and we were stuffed! We wandered through the gift shop and would have loved to pick up a few things, but we were all just so exhausted by that point, so will have the come back some other time to finish level 1 and pick up some souvenirs. Overall, stunning artworks, breathtaking displays and some really creative ways of teaching visitors about our state, it's first people and it's present multiculturalism. Definitely worth a visit!
