Beautiful sun set view, stunning water fall and rocky cliff. Wonderful bush walk and it’s safe for all age to visit. Try not to walk close to the off trial where adults under supervision and fit tend to walk down the site. Very beautiful scenery and lookout for Perth city and wonderful sight. Enough parking and few minute hike down the stream or bush walking.

Nice views and a good place to do some hiking. Parking and toilets are also available. Hiking trails are long and scenic. You can hike for as long as you want. Otherwise if you just want some nice views and take pictures then the place would take less than an hour to explore.

Nice natural trail. Beautiful Perth city view. The downhill waterfall walk is quite nice approximately 45 minutes. It's not easy to walk with very little kids but still manageable.

Great hiking, nice views. Dogs are welcome on-leash. Gets busy on weekends, particularly in the wetter months when the Falls are running well. There’s a few trails to choose from, and you can combine them to make your hike longer. Some parts of the trails are steep and/or have a lot of steps.

Lesmurdie Falls is an easy drive through the southern area of Perth hills and boasts some fantastic views of Perth City cbd, and out to the coastal areas!...on clear day with a good camera/binoculars you can see the Swan River, Kings Park, Crown Casino, WACCA and more! There are designated dirt walk trails, some elevated pathways and fenced lookouts, a few picnic tables and a toilet block. There are servailance cameras in operation in the sealed bitumen carpark with ample parking bays... however when we visited it was very busy with tourists and alot of vehicles were verge parking due to high volume of traffic. I'd suggest visiting once the winter rains have set in with ample fall of water. It's a gorgeous area to visit, bring a picnic, or just stroll and take in the amazing views from different vantage points...AND wear good footwear for bushwalking.😍

We took the pink trail which is less trodden and more difficult, and it has made all the difference. We feel the pink trail signs can be bit clearer. We saw blue wren, kangaroos, bobtail, all kinds of wildflowers and gorgeous skyline. Def worth a visit.

Beautiful walk and hike. There’s a few trails and approximately 15 mins to get up to the top. Beautiful view of the waterfall, though there wasn’t much of it, so it’s best to come after wet season. Lots of trails to go to.

We came here chasing waterfalls the day after heavy rain, it was fantastic to admire the power and ferocity of the water, and marvel at the ancient rock forms and spectacular uninterrupted view of Perth as far as the eye can see. A relatively easy, paved walk with some steps to the viewing platform, and several tracks for those up for a hike. Clean toilets and a few picnic tables. Parking fills up quick but lots of street parking if needed.

Even in November with a lack of recent rainfall, there was still a nice calm flow on the waterfall. We took the 1.2km treck from the top of the fall right down to the foot with our 2 kids (3 and 5y.o) and our dog midweek for a picnic lunch, and only saw 2 other people. The hike is fairly well maintained with some fantastic views of Perth CBD near the top, but definitely recommend the appropriate footwear due to being quite steep with loose dirt in some parts. For those a little less adventurous, or less confident with steep hikes, the lower carpark at Palm terrace is a prime option, leaving you only a short, reasonably flat walk right to the foot of the falls.

Easy to navigate trails with markers and site maps along the way. Toilet facilities with under cover picnic areas make it a great location to visit. Abundant parking spaces and the views are magical.

Lesmurdie falls looks spectacular during winter after some good soaking rains. The trails provide some exposure to the local flora and bird life. Spotted some blue wrens at the lower carpark. Easy walking trails that even a toddler can handle.

A nice waterfall close to Perth. The track to the falls is relatively easy but requires some balance and ability to walk up and down natural rock steps. If you follow the large loop on either side of the river, the tracks can get pretty steep and wild.

Great walk trails. A short walk trail (640m) or longer walk trails. Plenty shades for picnic, especially during warm weather in winter.

Tired but lots tiny kids can finish the trail. Beautiful waterfall. Worth to explore during the winter. Car park is easily full during the morning, so be aware the parking sign to avoid a ticket.

Nice park for long or short bush walks and picnics. Nice in the spring when the water level is high and the falls are lovely. There's a concrete platform with rails to stand on just above where the falls are. Great views. Parking is easier at the second car park, Weir car park, on the weekend. Then it's a short walk to the falls.

Amazing place for a hike and or picnic. There are toilet facilities and picnic tables around. We sat at the rocks and the soothing water falls felt heavenly. Just watch out for any magpies targeting your food.

Lesmurdie Falls is a beautiful triple waterfall in the Lesmurdie National Park East of Perth. Access from Falls Road, Lesmurdie at the top or Palm terrace, Forrestfield from the bottom. The bottom of the falls has a nice easy 10 minute walk from the car park and the top of the falls also a 10 minute walk from the upper car park. The top has 2 lookout points.

Fantastic regional park very close to Perth. Kids spend some 2hr playing in the water. Fantastic sunset and CBD view.

Beautiful walk, beautiful falls. Lovely to see the nature restoration work along the trails. Wear good walking or hiking shoes, loose and jutting rocks abundant.

Such a beautiful spot. Took the kids, met nice people, had a wonderful adventure! Easy access and parking, fairly easy trail to the falls with a little climbing necessary to reach the bottom of the falls. They've also added a nice new bench and shelter near the carpark. 10/10 would recommend!

Did both the top and foot of falls trails and personally liked the foot of fall better as you can get up close and personal with the falls till you feel the spray on your face. Trek was reasonably easy the first 90% of the way and got a bit rocky only when very close to the foot of the falls. Very soothing water flowing sound all thru the trek. Not stroller friendly so parents with bubs take note.

A great destination to visit in Winter (on a nice day!!) Visited mis-August after good rains and the water flow made the visit worthy! Well laid out and many vantage points!

Great for a visit especially during the rainy seasons when the falls are flowing heavy! Great section of trails up and around the Falls, in seemingly deep bushland yet still in view of the city - great juxtaposition and contract in nature. Worth a trip, even on a rainy day!

Come when it's after a week of rain and you'll be greeted with a wonderful water fall. The paths are quite easy to walk and shaded but some junctions are not well signposted so need to be familiar with the area.

Today's weather was about 22 degc during the hike. It was a beautiful day. Beautiful waterfalls and streams so close to home in Perth.

A really nice easy walk with just a few tricky parts, just be careful at the falls themselves as the smooth rocks are quite slippery especially when wet. If feeling more like a challenge there is a circular route around the falls, but you will have to traverse loose scree and gets quite steep in places.

The waterfall was stunning, flowing beautifully after all the rain Perth has gotten recently.

  • 5/5 Haytham K. 2 years ago on Google
A really good place to go for a hike with the kids. The track is not that hard and easy to go through. We went after rainfall so the waterfall was flowing. You could also take your dogs with you. Multiple picnic areas are available.

Great waterfall, and it's only a 3 minute walk from carpark to the falls!! Thankfully there's toilets nearby too!

Beautiful location especially with recent rains. View out towards the cbd in the distance. Nice (but uneven) pathway runs down from car park beside falls with two viewing platforms for great photos. Uphill on way back - quite energetic walk!

If you want to avoid crowds then going mid to late afternoon is the best time to go- we arrived around 4pm and there wasn't too many people 😊 Pictures may differ to what you've seen of the falls because we stayed around the top instead of starting at the bottom πŸ˜…

😐 Good field in a pretty good location. There isn’t much except a really good place to bring a dog to train or walk. There is also the Forrestfield - Perth Airport bicycle path nearby which makes it a easy place to get to.
