Happened to pass this place when they opened their door for public. Apparently they have just been opening for public regularly only from Tue-Thurs 12-2pm. I wonder why they do not give access to public more as the building is rarely occupied, hence visitors existence wouldn't bother anything. On top that, the garden is extremely beautiful with a variety of blooming flowers and it is well maintained by the presence of many gardeners taking care of it. It is such a shame that not many people can enjoy this place.

What a great building it is just under 200 years worth of history. It's the smallest Government house in Australia. The grounds are open 3 days a week, with out a booking, to wonder a round for a couple of hours. Plenty of room for the kids to run around.

It is open for public view in the afternoon. You can take a stroll around the garden, watch the birds flying and ducks swimming in the pond. Man made building blended with natural beauty... a Classic site!

A great historical and timeless, place to visit. The perfect place to learn about Western Australia's heritage. The building is a true work of art. I only wish more places had been preserved like this.

Government House is open a couple of times during the year to the public. When it is open, take hold of the opportunity to view it. It is amazing.

Beautiful venue for a concert. Exorbitant prices for tiny cups of tea and biscuits.

Very nice World Food Festival with strong representation from Poland :) Just maybe if it was organised during cooler months, more people would come? P.s. just -1 star that there was no time to see the grounds, as the gares close at 3pm sharp!

Good example of Victorian era architecture, this Jacobean revival style building was built between 1859 and 1864. The grounds are open to the public week days.

Located in the heart of Perth, so you can sign the book of condolences for Queen Elizabeth II. God rest the queen. Long live the King Charles III

Lovely building, with so much history and importance. So lucky to have it right in the centre of the city with such wonderful gardens as well.
