We love Whiteman Park, I would recommend this area to anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing spot and to be surrounded by nature. Perfect for large gatherings or picnics. Lots of parking and facilities in this area. I recommend visiting the multiple automotive museums and also the cafe as they have great coffee. Please remember to use the bins provided and not leave any mess behind in this beautiful place.

Great place to bring the whole family. Heaps of picnic tables and barbecues spread out in the park. Nice walks to be done between Mussel pool and the main village. You'll be able to spot kangaroos on the way. Definitely of interest if you and your loved ones are fans of transportation, the old steam train was a hit for the children aswell as the train museum, which is donation by entry. The other small museums there were lovely aswell, we skipped the car one but went to the tractor. Great playgrounds for the children. Definitely recommended bringing a picnic as the food can get expensive! We went for 5 hours and still want to go back for the children's nature walk and the wildlife park. Highly recommend for a nice family outing :)

Me and my kids went there 3-4 times, we prefers Whiteman Park then Perth Zoo as I felt like we get to see and interact more with animal here. The kangaroo park was nice for kids to have experience feeding kangaroo. Koala and wombat photoshoot were also nice experience. Highly recommend

Really enjoyed our day here, seeing all the animals was amazing. Set out well and kept very clean and tidy. It was quite busy and is a great place to bring kids. Lots to see and lots of information about the animals to read. There is a gift shop, cafe, motor museum, huge play area for kids....it was a great day!

Looking to keep kids occupied and experience the village heritage???then this is the best place. This is a very huge park. One full day is not enough to cover the entire park. If you hear a whistle or horn sound do not forget to check it out. It's a tram which runs inside the park. I was really thrilled to have a tram ride. Note: Tickets must be taken inside the tram. But cash only. The staff have done a great job to maintain the ticketing facility in old style. When you give cash the conductor gives tickets in an awesome old style. Adult:$6, Senior:$5,Child:$3, Family:$15(2 adults,2children) There is a mini water pool available. It's not so deep.safe for kids. For further information we can contact the visitor information center. There is a cafe inside the park. It's situated opposite the main tram station and visitor information center. The whiteman village is really an awesome place to visit. Lots of shops have been maintained and given demonstrations of how they all worked in olden days. Tractor ,motor museum ,Lolly stop, pavilion, Print shop and more. Parking will never be a problem here because there are huge areas of parking lots in different areas of this park.

Wonderful park. We stayed near Pia's Place and enjoyed the dog park across the road. There was plenty of shade, the BBQ area was clean and worked well. The playground was suitable for our 3 children with ages varied from <1 to 9.

A good place for a family visit year round, but during winter and spring particularly. There is a nice kiosk and a good handcraft shop as well as many tracks to explore, the Railways Museum and much more.

A perfect picnic 🧺 spot for Perthiets for spending quality time with friends over a BBQ 🍗 or food at cafe 🍵.. lots of family fun sports activities on the greens … water 💧 based for kids .. Mini train .. Motor and Tractor 🚜 Museums… a zoo … very relaxed 😎 atmosphere… best part is a 30-40 minutes drive and generally you should make it …. Great road network makes it easier these days … good toilet 🚻 facilities.. what more can you ask for ..

First time visiting today and can say it was well worth the effort. Lots of trees and shade, neat and tidy picnic areas, sealed footpaths, clean toilets, etc. Great for families and gatherings, or a stroll.

Intimate and friendly with a wide fenced camping space. Facilities are great with rain showers and toilets that are always clean. Wide open space for the children to play in and being the national park has lots of benefits like the numerous walks and animals to see, including the koalas and kangaroos. My tip is to pay for a years pass, and this saves on entry fee. Amazing and tranquil with a peaceful and serene vibe.

Went for a walk in the children's forest. Beautiful walk... lovely fairy doors for children to excitedly discover, read interesting signs, found colourful trees, spotted two bandicoots and lots of kangaroos wandering around.... lovely spot.

Was nice for the kids to play in the playground then followed by a short swim. Still abit cold to stay in the pool long but the kids loved it none the less. Not so crowded during the week which was great to keep an eye on the kids.

Cheap day out and an amazing place to take the kids! The park is MASSIVE, with a tram running through the middle of it, $6 for adults, and $3 for kids, it is worth every cent! ♥️

Pia's Place is a beautiful spot for kids of all ages! Lots of shady areas for picnics, play, or chill time. Gardens are always looking amazing, lots of room for everyone, car park is easily accessible and toilets are clean. Coffee and ice cream are available too! Will keep coming back, it's too good 👌

Went to be with family on 21.1.24 in the Playground section but nowhere was a toilet in sight? The gazebo booked was very spacious and useful with adequate tables and benches just wish those seats had backrests..?? They're hard enough to sit on, we put folded up towels on the seats but without backrests it became quite uncomfortable in a short while. Thank you if noted.

Great place to take all the family, our grandchildren love the playgrounds and picnic areas. The little train was a big hit, can't wait to take them to the children's swimming pool in Summer. Bonus is you always see some kangaroos and wildlife when you visit.

Really nice park, picnic ground. The motor museum was impressive but entry fee was expensive $16.50. The Mussel Pool is basically a small lake, water was very dirty. The Childrens forest was nice and protected. The restaurant Village Café has nice seating arrangement with limited menu options and a little bit overpraised. The staffs could be more accommodating (was really in bad mood) The Park Charges coins for using the BBQ facilities.

Family friendly, very helpful staff and friendly. Plenty to do and see, train and team rides, plenty of undercover picnic areas. Loved the car museum, going back again to look at tractor museum, ride on steam train and look at wildlife centre. Was too hot and tired to look at everything, went in 34 degrees day.

Such a stunning park! Manicured lawns, lovely bushland, paths and playgrounds to explore. We took our bikes and rode around, having a lovely day. Picturesque spots for photos on bridges. Many picnic shelters and tables. Clean, well maintained BBQs, well worth the money. You need $1 coins and each dollar gives you 15mins of cooking time. Highly recommend this park for an outing and family/group get togethers ❤️

A fun place with plenty of activities for all ages both static or activity based ones; or you can just relax on the lawns with your family and have a picnic. There are pavilions for hire, train and tram rides, vintage and other cars and tractors, playgrounds. Food is available; various interesting shops are onsite; an abundance of walk and cycle trails and kart with trailer hire. Good conveniences with a room for mother's with babies.

I had the opportunity to visit Whiteman Park recently and was left with mixed emotions about my experience. While I was highly impressed by the well-maintained water park, some of the other attractions at the park left much to be desired. The water park was well-designed, and I appreciated the cleanliness and attention to detail that went into the area. However, I was disappointed by some of the other events, such as the tram ride, which did not live up to my expectations. The tram ride, in particular, was quite underwhelming and I wouldn't recommend it to others. The ride itself was not very long and lacked the excitement and thrill that I had been hoping for. The views were okay, but not remarkable, and I felt that I had wasted my money on this part of the park. Overall, I would still recommend Whiteman Park to others, but with a word of caution. I would encourage people to do their research before deciding which events to participate in and make the most of their time at Whiteman Park.

Whiteman Park was equal parts awesome and sad. As is any creature in captivity scenario....I think the poor old cold blood feather foot on Mollys Farm needs a farrier. Picked up a hitch hiker me (tick) but over all enjoyed the experience, a bit pricey for what it is though. Understandably I suppose as not government funded or subsidised.

I have to say this was the nicest park we have been to thus far. The playground was great. The restrooms were very accessible. We had a picnic and did some grilling. Very clean. There were so many people yet it wasn't crowded. I'm not sure that makes since. If you are wanting to have a family gathering or just chill out and relax. Please check this park out!

We had a great time at Whiteman Park. We caught the train. We had a ride on the tram and got off at the playground. We also had a splash in the water park. It's got a fantastic picnic area for the kids to run around. Definitely go there again.
