Went here for a snorkel this morning, had our own private beach. Stunning views and reef. Saw an octopus today!

The best beach to go to north of the river, that is still close to the suburbs. There is a cafe nearby, and multiple beach spots to enter the water from.

So many private little beaches and clean water, protected from surf by the reef. Lazy sunsets with a bottle of wine - can't beat this for a lifestyle.

Readily accessible on foot, bike or car, this place gives front line view to the amazing Indian Ocean which offers fantastic sunsets every day. And if you want to feel the force of mother nature, come here to feel the storm rolling in!

The food was horrible. The beers were warm. The entertainment was exhausting. Last time I take the family out for a picnic.

Best place to find a private little bay, take a dip and relax beachside. Bring your snorkel and fins as there is abundance of beautiful shimmering marine life!

My favourite beach for a snorkel and swim. Calm and protected from the winds and plenty of interesting stuff to look at. Watch out for the skinks (lizards) if you are picnicking.... They are harmless but may give you a fright.

There are very strategically placed poles that prevent you from kicking your friends soccer ball into the ocean, much to my frustration. However this is to our detriment because another friend ended up booting it onto the road where it ended up being roadkill. Apart from that it's pretty good.

Marmion Marine Park is a great spot for snorkelling. Because it is a protected fish sanctuary there are heaps of fish about to see. A great entry to that marine park is from the south end of Waterman's Beach. Beach conditions for snorkelling are when the breeze is blowing offshore (from the east). So, usually early in the morning in the summer months.

Small carpark and small patch of sand to enter the beach but stunning water, great views and I would assume snorkelling here is great.

I like the park because it's fenced space so you don't have to worry that kids escape to the road How ever there is not much in it as it's very small and kids will get bored soon.

It could have been great if the had wheel chair path way to the beach. I had to carry my pram down and wasn't easy as i had two little ones.
