I didn't expect to find this hidden gem surrounded by high ways and by ways in the centre of town. Its a beautiful little refuge for bird life and city dwellers alike. I love coming here after a jog across the river from South Perth. I spend a few moments by the water relaxing before heading back over the bridge . It not a bad place for a walk with a date either.

What a beautiful place to go for a short walk to see a waterfall and a lovely waterway. It's been a hidden gem for many years and being just next to the Mount Hospital (bottom of Kings Park), it's something you usually don't see many at. The downside is that it is surrounded by busy roads/a freeway so there is road/train noise. That said, it is worth a look and there is also a small playground for the kids.

Nice quiet location opposite kings park on Mounts Bay Road. There is a lake, stair set, playground, forest section and waterfall - though that was under construction when I visited last (January 2020). Overall a lovely spot for a family visit, or romantic stroll. As a professional photographer it provides many good photo opportunities. Google "James Sparrow Photographer" for more photos and details.

A great place for water bird watching! There is a black swan nest near Mounts Bay Road bus stop. Peaceful and relaxing park atmosphere. Accessible via 950, 102, 107 and 23 from Elizabeth Quay bus-port (5 mins).

This an such gorgeous park, came here a couple times by myself and with friends to relax and do a few photoshoots. It's a beautiful place, the only complaint is that the parking area is a little bit expensive, it's best to park elsewhere and walk to the park. Relative large park too with lots to admire.

One wouldn’t expect hidden away on mounts bay road there is a small park named after John Oldham. A nice walk and one can walk to the narrows bridge or into the city. On the afternoon that we were there, the birds came out to play! To be honest, I was looking for the mini waterfall that was written about in an article. It was nice and quiet. Perfect for a little afternoon stroll. The carpark is small though and had many cars who were parked there for the whole day..

A little hidden gem in the City of Perth. Beautiful waterfalls and ponds, full of bird life and surrounded in lush greenery. Playground for the kids with an awesome slide. Only a short walk from Elizabeth Quay or small carpark on Mounts Bay Road.

Slice of paradise near the heart of the city! Cross the bridge, turn left and follow the pathway to this amazing Waterfall. There is a playground with a huge slide on the way too so don't miss out on the fun!

A nice inner city park, that no one wants to miss. Great access through city, freeways, and bicycles, walkways. Positives-Access to Kings Park, Old Swan Brewery, and CBD through walkways/bicycle tracks. Children's play equipment and BBQs are in good condition. Negatives-Parking fees at any time, $4/hr, even on Sunday, no toilets. Hints/Reminder-Park across the road on Sunday, it's free! Remember to get a jacket if you're going around evening time. Remember there isn't any toilet there!

It's a nice park with a BBQ and play area for kids . The Downside is it has a very small car park that you have to pay for and NO public facilities. Which means you have to drive if you need them with risks of losing your car parking spot.

A hidden gem to explore the hidden space inside your heart, the space of love & compassion towards self and all sentient beings, the space which no one can take away from you.

Tumbled upon it by mistake !! The waterfalls is quite hidden and What a lovely place !! The place is quiet ,calm, beautiful and filled with variety of beautiful birds and the sounds of their chirping...a book I had read as a child called 'The Secret Garden' is what leapt to my mind :D must visit !!

Great unique park just outside the city center. Lovely shaded walkways. Would be 5 star. But too bad the waterfall is not working. Also shame that it cost $4 for 1 hour of parking even on weekends and public holidays. This brings it down to 3 stars.
