This is a great walk. I started at lower car park. I recommend some good shoes as the walking trail is very uneven is a lot of places. If you are a bit unsteady on your feet walking poles are also a good addition. There are no toilet facilities at lower car park. There are toilet facilities at top car park. Great views, good walk. Very little water when i went. It would be spectacular after good rain.

The park is suitable for families with young kids and dogs. The track is not hard and steep. It follow along the river streams, so you always be accompanied by water flowing sound. During spring, various wild flowers are spreading along the path. You can see city of Perth from the distance as well. So worthy to have the walks here.

Great place to take the dog for a walk. The walk is a short but very beautiful walk up the hill following the stream. Some incredible views back towards the city on the downward journey. Been some improvements over winter. Much clearer path and replaced old wooden bridge.

Fantastic park to explore with stunning scenery and sweeping landscapes. A short stroll takes you to a beautiful waterfall that allows you to get up close and personal. The walking paths are easy to navigate and require a moderate level of fitness but are certainly very suitable for families and couples.

My weekend playground. Excallent tracks and water fall with city view. You can take a easy course (Cascade and Shoulder) in an hour or hike down to Water fall mouth or climbing up. You will enjoy water stream, wild plants, bandicoot and wild flowers (during spring from Sep to early Nov).

Beautiful walk, lots of little tracks running next to the stream. I went in mid june after a lot of rain and it was amazing. Dog friendly, but a few dogs were off the leads. Parking was extremely difficult as road works were in progress and apparently rangers were ticketing cars although there was only verge parking available. No toilets at this particular track. We opted to go right at the entry fork and not left up the muddy embankment this time. The waterfalls were in full swing and the flowers were pretty. The ruins were still visible and up the top of the track after crossing the small concrete bridge. We didnt complete the full track but will def come back to do the full track. A lil steep in places but not too bad. Good footwear reccomended.

This place offers some nice refreshing trails alongside a steady stream of water flowing down the hill. However we didn't see any toilets or seating areas but do have some of shaded areas under trees. Need to watch out for ants though.

Love this place, beautiful, great water spots. 45 mins for brisk hike, with a few photo stops. Rough terrain in places, but my kids love it. Cannot recommend enough!

Kids repeatedly yelled this is awesome! As they ran around the creek and the tracks. So if that doesn’t make you want to check it out, then the great view of the city, the babbling creek and the fitness from walking up and down the rolling hill should sweeten the deal. Highly recommended for the cooler months after some rain.

Went on a spontaneous hike today with my sister at Mundy Regional Park. It was a beautiful and refreshing location, we didn’t feel like we were only 20mins from the city! We walked the Whistlepipe Gully trail which is a scenic 3.5km track, mainly alongside a picturesque stream. There were a few steep and rocky sections so we enjoyed the added cardio. Highly recommend!

Regional Park located close to Kalamunda and Maida Vale. There are a few walking trails which can be steep but are all very wide and easy to navigate. There is a good view of the city from the top of the trail. There are no facilities so you will need to bring water and wear appropriate clothing for walking in the bush.

Whistle pipe Gully is a great place to walk, take the dog, have a picnic, or just sit and read on a rock by the river. There's water in the river in Autumn, it's an easy walking track, and you get a great view of the city of Perth.

Whistlepipe creek is flowing well at the moment with all the rain in July. A lovely walk and falls.

Beautiful hike in the Perth hills, great for the whole family. Suggest for kids older than 5yrs as it gets quite steep and no restrooms provide a challenge.

I really enjoy it here! I prefer it after winter when the water is higher in certain areas, but overall a great spot to spend the day! Good to know- Toilets are long drops, and no running water, but they have tables to have lunch!

Beautiful lookout. Not a long walk trail but its a cool place to spend the evening.

The great thing about hiking around the Scarp is that you can choose the amount of exercise you get. Go along a contour and you only have to climb as far as the road you started from. Go up and down a bit and you can start and end at the same place but get hundreds of metres of altitude change!

We walked at Whistlepipe Gully, the weather was great for it. The creek was low but flowing still, and the dogs were able to cool off and get a drink. I would rate the difficulty of the terrain as moderate and difficult for people with mobility issues.

Went to scrap walk trail. Not a easy one but you earn the rewards at the end. The view was beautiful.

Whistlepipe Gully is our favourite dog walking destination hands down. It's a beautiful spot all year round and there are a couple of different trail options to suit different ages and abilities. Definitely worth a visit!

Nice walk up whistlepipe gully. Paths on both sides. Nice flow of clear water in December

A beautiful area to walk and spend some time on a fine day. Due to our recent record rain falls the stream and waterfall is a wonder to view. Sounds of the Australian bush are all around. Do take water and heed the walking signs, wear appropriate walking footwear too. Definitely a must visit spot for visitors and locals alike.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Absolutely beautiful bushland surrounding this location that has walk trails set out amongst it. The sporting area is well maintained... on a busy day you must allow time to depart with only 1 exit point for the whole venue on each side of the facility!
