I dont know why I waited so long to visit Kalamunda national Park. Cause it is so beautiful, peaceful and an overall great place to go for a hike or even relax and take in nature. There are various trails I have yet to explore but so far the first one has been amazing, cant wait for another beautiful weekend to head that way again.

The flowers have just started to bloom. The National park has many walking trails and bike paths, it is easy to get lost in some areas as the trails are not marked, but the trails do overlap at some points and yiu can find your way. Its a gorgeous park to visit.

Great place and a lovely swimming hole at rocky pool. Be so worth it getting in in the summer. Flowers in spring here just gorgeous. Blue red orange purple yellow dainty flowers of all colours. Beautiful walks and the smell is amazing here. So many variety of birds too saw kookaburras black and red parrots and even frogs 🐸. Just a great faybout even when overcast.

Beautiful place to hike! Rocky pool is here too although it really dries up in the summer.. but I've been here in winter/spring season and one could definitely have a little swim

One of the spots is quite easy to find and is a very beautiful and natural sight. There is a creek and lots of trees. The upsetting thing was as we where driving trying to find Rocky pool there was a massive gate with a bolt lock blocking off the main point of the 2 hour trip. Disappointed but we explored what we could.

amazing place. to start with love this place because there is no interference of modern technology. Most of the places doesn't have internet. Barely a range to make calls. which i see in a positive way as it pushes you to leave your phone in pocket and spend some quality time. every 4 to 5 min you can observe the creativity of nature. water coming down the water fall. you can hear that sound of water passing through rocks and birds singing their songs. In the end you will reach Rocky Pool. place with bigger rocks and more water running through it. place where you can relax. So much to say about it but i would let you guys experience it when you yourself visit this place.

Always enjoy walking the myriad paths around this area. There's plenty for every skill level and you can enjoy the views of the valleys from lots of different perspectives as you travel around. (Hope you can see the full panoramic picture attached)

Kalamunda National Park is so beautiful!! Great to hike around. Some steep hills and you need decent hiking shoes/boots. A hiking pole or two is great to have too. The scenery is amazing with plenty of shade from the trees if you get tired, stop for a bite to eat or to rehydrate.

Wilderness National Park is an enchanting sanctuary of untamed wonders, a pristine tapestry woven with nature's hues. The rangers' demeanor exudes an air of reverence, as if they are guardians of an ancient secret. The earthy fragrance of moss-laden trails and crisp forest air will forever linger in my soul. I yearn for the moment when I can wander once more amidst the majestic vistas and discover hidden treasures within the embrace of this natural paradise.

The trails to Rocky Pool and around the surrounding hills are always a joy to walk (except for some of the uphill sections! 😁), and offer something for all levels of bushwalking fitness and skill. Piesse Brook is simply beautiful, and the spring flowers are astonishing. Really worth a visit.

Great hiking experience πŸ™‚ there are a few benches along the way if you need to stop and sit. Well worth it even on a hot day.
