Came here with a few friends for something different over a month ago from the moment we walked in we were being judged.. Drinks took forever to arrive staff slow, security at the front rude no people skills that’s why there security…. The place inside is really nice food was good but wouldn’t come back if anything overrated

Nice amazing Bar in the Winter lights

Loved the vibes! Had very Jigger & Pony (Bar in Singapore) vibes without paying too much of a premium. Had the Hachi (yellow cocktail) and taste-wise, it was right up my alley. Yummy and tangy as expected, but didn’t give me that much of a kick. Alcohol performance was more like a mocktail hahaha. If you’re gna walk in, do so before 630pm - else it’s hard to get a table!

Lovely bar in Brookfield Place, with some very nice moody ambience & decor, various interesting lounge & seating areas. Staff were mostly very good, certainly professional & very busy, though bar was a little small to effectively serve the demand promptly. Music with live DJ was good, but too loud throughout - needs some quiet areas. Very pricey drinks, but worth a visit. Didn't try any food.

Just had cocktails so can't comment on the food. Nuts and berries cocktail was spectacular. The atmosphere is awesome, very cosy and decadent. Sat in a very comfy leather chesterfield chair. Very relaxing, great friendly service. Refreshing to be in a bar without loud music so you can sit, relax and chat.

Looking for the best cocktail served by the Best bartenders, this is the place. The best test of a Great cocktail bar is if they have clear ice ..that means they have an investment in style and flavour. You can try and play the game of “stump, the bartender” but they know everything about every cocktail -Even, its history. They are amazing. You will not be let down, and your cocktail will be everything you wished and hoped for. For the true cocktail connoisseur you have to go on a hunt AKA Some type of a sipping Safari)to find greatness. (THIS NEWS JUST IN ). The hunt is over.. I have been in the wild for you and I have found it. This is the place scoring a solid 25 out of 10 Try a Vespa martini And definitely a margarita, but ask for agave syrup added 🍺🍺🥂🍹🍸

Nice chilled bar! The bartender's are excellent in their craft mixing some of the best cocktails. The waitresses are attentive, pleasant and polite👌 If you are looking for a chilled night out, relaxing to good music a neat drink or cocktail definitely a place to go. Will definitely visit again! Try a Mai Tai or whiskey sour 😋

Wonderful little venue in the heart of Perth, great vibe and decor accompanied by a well curated cocktail selection. Have been a frequenting member for years and will hopefully continue to do so for years to come.

What a beautiful venue. Heaps of great textures and nooks to chat in, great drinks selection and a really great place for some business and socialite networking in Perth.

As soon as we ordered drinks and appetizers despite the fact we had just dropped 200+$ American asked us to leave because we were taking up tables other people could use. Never seen anything like it before in my life. Been traveling the world the last 25 years. The security staff was unable to explain why other than the manager said too. Dark bar with about 9 food items, not recommended imo other great bars in the area and the amazing “grill’d “ burgers next door.

Lafayette is a wonderful experience every time I go. Although it's quite expensive, you get what you pay for, with lovely staff and delicious drinks. They treat every customer like they're VIP's, bringing drinks to you when you're outside, and giving you their full attention. I highly recommend this bar and will be back the next time I can.

Scotty and Ben are fantastic bartenders with an incredible knowledge of spirits and amazing service. Thanks boys for the constant good nights and good times!

I really liked the maple baby something drink. I can't fully remember the name but it's about $38 and it's really cool watching it being made and it's really yummy. Great staff, great location. But some of the leather furniture needs to be repaired.

Very disappointed with the service last night. We came after having dinner at another restaurant on St. George’s terrace and was told when we tried to enter that the venue was at capacity by the security guard when it was very clear that it wasn’t. We asked how long the waiting time would be and he just shrugged. When we walked away, we looked back to see him let two separate couples in after telling us they could not accept anyone else. Really poor form.

Lots of very well dressed people. I think the prerequisite for working behind the bar is beards and moustaches.

Has become more go to spot for after work drinks. Extensive menu for spirits and class bartenders! Was also here for a Christmas function, the young asian girl (sorry I forgot her name) was looking after us and was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable and we all had a great time. Please pass our compliments to her for her great service. I’ll be back at the bar soon!

They make a pretty decent Whiskey Sour. The other people I was with also had good things to say about their drinks. A great atmosphere. I will come back again.

This place is the Best (period. Full stop.) Will and Manon are the bomb. They look after you *and* you have everything you'd ever want in a classy bar. Your bar shopping days are done! Needed to add that managers Lilie and Ben are at the top of their game. This place is exceptional !

The security guard, apparently on the owner’s orders, wouldn’t let me in because I was wearing enclosed sandals. A lot of women were wearing sandals (without backings), which I pointed out and he admitted that women were allowed to do this. He said he was afraid for his job if he let me in. Unless the owner changes the rules, avoid this place for its discriminatory clothing policy. Will not be returning unless they remove their outdated and sexist rules.

great after work bar in the center of Perth's CBD (when the business is paying) Prices are reasonable, but serving sizes are quite small. No pints and limited beer/cider as it is a spirit bar service is reasonably consistent, good quality with the occasional single staff member poor Table service is provided, and can have multiple different transactions for table service (each person pay separately)

Easily one of the top 3 best cocktail bars in Perth, excellent selection of Whiskey's, with a decent selection of other spirits behind the bar. (Not a massive range of other spirits, but considering how much whiskey that's there you'd be hard pressed to even find space) A bit pricey in regards to some drinks, but if you're coming for a special occasion, worth the price. Will defs return

This bar has a great atmosphere. The staff are very attentive and personable with a high level of customer service. The espresso martini was one of the best I have ever had!

Food at the service table was cold, expensive & tiny. I had high hopes and was incredibly disappointed. Staff was nice but I had to remind them I ordered dip 3 times in an hour (thats how long it took to get 3 crackers & frozen dip for $18).

Such an awesome venue to host an event! We booked the sunken lounge for my partners birthday and everything was amazing! The vibe was great and the staff were very friendly. The floor manager Nisha was so lovely and professional. She took very good care of us + + I was emailing the event coordinator Georgina for weeks trying to organise everything and she was so helpful + +, gave great recommendations and was incredibly nice to deal with. I couldn’t recommend this place more for your next event. Well done guys! Thank you for making our night so special.

It's a great venue for a couple of drinks and the staff are very good. Bar tenders have good knowledge of Scotch and other spirits. It's on the pricey side and the beers are very average for my taste, although I'm not keen on the new craft beers. The place also needs some heating in winter as it was pretty cold to sit in.

Ageist/misogynist door-security guy refused me service before I was even able to access the venue. In what was patently a powerplay, he falsely claimed that he’d seen me ‘stumbling’ and then, when he finally allowed me entry so that I could find my friend, tried to humiliate me by repeating his claims in front of my friend, the bar-staff, and other patrons. Some diversity training might be in order, as might some training in polite interactions with customers.

What an amazing venue for my 40th party! Service was always friendly and attentive. Amazing cocktails and food was delicious! Absolutely loved the musician playing soulful RnB in the courtyard only on Saturday night. Very cool vibe! Thank you Georgina for all your help organising and making my night extra special. Very grateful!

Went here with a few friends to 'test' it out as we heard it was pretty good. I must admit it was bloody cool, the venue reminds me of like a cool 1920's theme, as well as the staircase for some reason reminds me of titanic. The pictures on the wall are awesome, the service is great and friendly. Will be going back for a drink very soon.

We Booked Bar Lafayette as a venue for the dinner interval for Cloudstreet playing at His Majesties Theatre. Amazingly efficient and on point staff front of house staff. We were seated and had drinks and food order attended to very quickly. We chose several dishes to share and they arrived in a very timely manner. The food was tasty and not overdone. Perfect for a light supper. The waitstaff were very friendly and professional. Couldn’t fault anything.

Nice whisky selection, and some interesting beers on tap. Staff knew their stuff and were really hospitable.

Very well appointed cocktail bar in the CBD, also serving up a great range of spirits. Very pleasant staff. Great layout with multiple different areas to hang out in, and frequently one of the best local music acts on Thursdays from 5pm- the incredibly talented Trevor Jalla!

The bar is perfect and the service and all the staff are perfect and the bar food and drinks and service are best. Friendly environment enjoyed a lot.

We attended for a friends 60th birthday celebration. A few organisational hiccups to begin with but that was sorted out eventually. The food was absolutely beautiful as were the cocktails. The stand out for the night besides our lovely friend was the bar manager Ben. He was able to take multiple cocktail orders.from memory and also recalled who was drinking what through out the night. Very polite and helpful. We were impressed with his professionalism.

I booked Bar Lafayette for our work Social Event and was very pleased with night. Email communication with Mia was friendly and through and easy to arrange everything we needed for the night. We were taken to our private function room upon arrival and drink orders arrived very quickly after. We chose several share platters and they arrived on time. The food was lovely! So many flavours and so much to choose from. Great selection! All the waitstaff were very friendly and professional, especially our own host for the whole night. I highly recommend for your next function.
