Came on a Saturday evening for dinner. I was a little surprised by how quiet it was but it is a very large place. The service was good and the food tasty. A great choice of pub grub type food. The pork belly was delicious and Mrs C was full of complements about the steak. The salt and pepper squid was a little underwhelming. The bottle of Syrah rounded off a good night. Recommended.

Cosy restaurant with warm interiors. Great for groups and intimate dinners. Has a good selection on the menu to suit most tastes. 😋 we have been several times and will be back

The food was good, not amazing but worth it for the price. The Chateaubriand was cooked perfectly as I requested and the sticky date pudding is moist. The service was really good as all the wait staff who attended to us was supe friendly and accommodating. The place looks well designed for an old fashioned European bar theme.

Lovely place for a quiet dinner for one in the week. Quick service from waiters and the kitchen. Place is huge but with nice ambient lighting in the PM. The fish and chips were tasty and the side of peas and tartare was more than enough even for the generous sauce and sides people. Would be good if there were low calorie beer/cider options. A nice spot and look forward to trying this place out with a bigger group of people.

They have an extensive wine list, with prices starting from around $50 a bottle. Their menu is good and They also have daily specials. Staff are friendly and very obliging

Cosy location with great outdoor seating to watch Perth go by. The food is very up market pub grub, it's nice easy to eat, but certain dishes have a really small portion size for the charge so it can get a little pricey. Nice rotation of menu and specials. Staff are nice and friendly.

Been a few times and always had a lovely time there! The food is always on point and they do one of the best steaks in Perth! Service is also prompt and if you sit outside they even have little blankets you can use if you’re cold 🙂

Some dishes are a bit pricey. I ate there two nights in a row because it was so good. Beef Tartare and Scotch Eggs Fish of the Day the next night. Brilliant. Great selection of boutique beers too. The service is very good. Staff willing to listen, help and advise on selections. I will definitely be going back here next time I'm in Perth.

Recommended by someone local in Perth, and being new to the area decided to visit for a special occasion - and so glad we did! Staff were friendly and courteous, truly felt spoilt and looked after by everyone. Food was incredible- desserts, pies and seafood dishes particularly stood out among the rest. Ambience was lovely and the setting was lovely - would definitely recommend and left feeling throughly full and very happy. Thanks so much for a lovely evening.

Absolutely perfect dining room experience. Food, wine, setting and service all impeccable. Very friendly staff. Do yourself a favour and get the beef cheek croquettes and the tomahawk steak. Wow. All the food was excellent. Very sophisticated for a “pub”, it’s actually way better than that!

Fantastic experience! Husband and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and our meals. Can’t speak highly enough about friendly service. We loved all the food, especially the chocolate dessert. Brussels Sprouts were a delicious side dish. We visited on a Friday night, so naturally it was busy and fairly loud - but service was still prompt and very friendly. 10/10 would recommend!

Went for dinner with a reservation and it was a great time. I had the pie, which had mushroom filling on the night I went and it was delicious with the mash. My partner had the steak and liked it. We started the bread as an entree and the smashed pavlova desert which was so good! Our waitress was great and really friendly, and knew so much about wines and made a great recommendation.

Great food with clearly marked gluten and dairy free options, and an extensive non alcoholic drinks list. Nice ambience, and the option to choose which part of the restaurant to eat in when you book online. The lamb rack was lovely and I appreciated they provided me the lid to the sparkling water to take home for environmental reasons. Thanks for a lovely visit!

I have been to Mayfair Lane many times for after work drinks and this was my first time for a sit down dinner. I was pleasantly surprised. The wait staff are to be congratulated for creating an environment which is a pleasure to dine in. Their 5 star service is genuinely friendly, attentive and professional. The menu is British pub food. While it is not creative or imaginative it is cooked and served to perfection.

Wife was craving for steak and did a last minute research and found a table at Mayfair Lane. We ordered ribeye medium rare with duck fat potatoes and peppercorn sauce, and braised short ribs. The ribeye was delicious but peppercorn sauce was not as thick as we'd expect. The duck fat potatoes was subtle in flavor, if any, but I think it was twice cooked (presume it was boiled before roasted) and had a nice texture to it. Braised short ribs was delicious, just a little bit small for its price point. Sticky Date pudding dessert was certainly the highlight and our favorite dish for the night. Staff were super friendly, let us choose our seats, food came out in reasonable time and it was easy to find street parking.

Nice atmosphere

A large and spacious place with a great selection of wines. The food was generally good, especially the ocean trout I had, a bit pricey though. The beef tartare was excellent. But the chilli mussels was sub-par, on the bland side. The wait stuff was pleasant and friendly.

How can I give 6 stars?? I did about an hour’s research to find somewhere new to dine. Mayfair Lane was our pick. Let me say the glowing reviews are spot on. I would go so far as to say that this was our best dining experience to date, and we dine out a lot. The service was friendly and attentive. The decor was interesting, classy and funky and the food, EXCEPTIONAL, my steak was perfection and my partners pork belly was the best he’s ever had. The attention to detail is so apparent, down to the jars of little FRESH flower arrangements on each table. Can’t wait to return and try more of the menu.

Great lunch today, with a work colleague. Couldn’t improve the service, menu, food or wine list. Kevin our waiter was fantastic, many other waitstaff also looked after us well, this venue is the example of excellence within a restaurant. Well done on a great experience, we’ll be back.

Buzzing bar and kitchen in heart of West Perth Excellent wine list, craft beers on tap and cocktails. Mix of small plates to largers meal. Plenty of options to please all. Food is high quality. Service is excellent. Very attentive staff.

A great place to come and have a few beers + a steak! Got a rare rib-eye steak and it was cooked to perfection. Topped with an amazing peppercorn sauce and paired with duck fat roasted potatoes. The food all around was getting great reviews and the squid appetizer was incredible. Staff were friendly and attentive, would recommend for a family night or even a date.

Great food and exceptional service from very knowledgeable staff with both the food and drinks menus. We had the beef pie, crab pasta, salt & pepper squid and the scallops. Nothing could be faulted and we will 100% be back very soon!

Team went out for the Christmas Lunch and was very disappointed. Cesar Salad was very average and lacked much dressing the fish and chips looked it was microwaved and chips soggy. The Burger and chips was on and only the beer battered chips was good. Service was quick, ambiance nice but overall not worth the money.

What happened with the chef??? We felt we were served kids portions as the carpaccio and the linguine dishes were ridiculous small?! $24 for a carpaccio with 6 tiny pieces of meat and cappers? Remember guys, you are a PUB! Pub food is known for being reasonably sized and priced. When politely asked one staff member about the size of the portion and if he could check with the chef if it was okay, we got a rude reply “that’s our carpaccio size”.. 👎🏻 The caesar salad almost didn’t have any dressing, no croutons at all and the chicken on it was cold (it wasn’t heated or prepared fresh at all). Myself and hubby always been advocates of this place but won’t be coming back unfortunately. Quality and service are def not the same anymore :/

We had such a lovely dining experience at Mayfair. The restaurant is elegantly decorated and very spacious, helping alleviate any Covid concerns. The menu has something for everyone and food was delicious - make sure you leave room for the desserts! The wine list is thoughtfully curated and super impressive! Staff were friendly and attentive. We booked Mothers Day lunch here after some googling, as our usual go-to’s were fully booked. The service was absolutely fantastic and could not be faulted. Staff are so lovely and genuine. Food was tasty and nice big portions. Desserts were so delicious, especially the Eton mess!! We will definitely be returning! Beautiful atmosphere and venue. 5 stars from us ✨

Chateaubriand didn't look like a fillet cut (wrong shape and grain ran the wrong way), but was nicely cooked (medium rare) and tender. Duck fat potatoes were crunchie and delicious (better than the chips), broccolini was nicely charred, Waldorf salad was, well a salad. The highlight was the wine, a Torbeck Shiraz. We also had the lemon curd meringue and chocolate mousse to finish - would skip the desserts next time. Our server, Yasmine was fantastic, professional, attentive and friendly all at once. Quite a bit of background noise as the dining area is open plan to the bar. I recommend this restaurant for a casual dinner.

What a lovely place and atmosphere, I was recommended this place by a colleague and I had high hopes. However I was fairly disappointed about the Scotch Fillet I ordered. I ordered it rare thinking it would come out nice and juicy, however the steak I got was so dry that I even drenched it in the sauce and it was still dry. To add on top the duck fat potatoes were dry too :( The staff were very friendly and when asked if I was finished, I let them know I was still going just taking a little to finish as it was so dry. They apologised and said they would let the chef know, but then proceeded to zoom pass my table when going past and never followed up. Not what I expected from a $52 steak I could have gotten cheaper and better elsewhere. Only redeeming thing was the cocktail I ordered was lovely and the atmosphere was very relaxing. Looks can be deceiving :(

Fabulous service, decor and atmosphere. Highly recommend you try the large format meat selection to share and enjoy. You can never go wrong in the three sauces choice either. Duck fat potatoes deserve all the chef's kisses too! Highly recommend you come here for catchups and dates.

This is one of my favourite places to go for a large steak to share. I have had the tomahawk steak here more times than I can count and it has always been a bit with whoever I take there. The location is great and central, restaurant is cosy without being claustrophobic, on this particular night the waitstaff were unbelievably good - I wish I got their name but I forgot to ask. The general menu is good - and I have tried many dishes on it which have been good, but really you have to try their tomahawk or their chateaubriand steak - easily enough for 2/3 people. If you’re a meat lover then this is one of those places that you absolutely must come and try out. It seems expensive but when you divide it to a per head price it really isn’t too bad (for special occasions).

Second time here and just as good as the last. - Lovely setting and decor - Staff were attentive and friendly (our waitress was amazing- wish we got her name) - The food exceeded our expectations (taste and plating) and the portion sizes were generous. Perfect date night once again- will definitely be back!

This place has the best steaks in Perth. Better than Nobu and in a better environment too. The staff were awesome and fun and the wine list is off the charts. I'll be going back

all of our food was delicious, most of us had steaks for main. All cooked and seasoned very well. The only let down were the cocktails we had, our table of 6 thought the drinks were a little on the weak side with alcohol. The service was 5/5 stars. Attentive and friendly staff, we were led to our table by a friendly waitress, as soon as we seated glasses were filled with table water and we were checked on multiple times throughout our dining. Our whole group was very impressed.

I recently hosted an event at Mayfair Lane private dining room, the staff were great from the get go from my booking I was kept up to date by the Events manager who was quick to respond and assist with getting any requirements sorted. The venue itself is a very nice classy pub/wine bar style and the private dining room was the perfect size and setting I was after for my party. One of the things that sold me on choosing this venue was their set menu which proved to be good value for money and excellent quality. It came out at a good pace and was enjoyed by everyone. The staff were great on the night, very attentive to making sure drinks were filled and checking everything was running smoothly. At the end of the night it was very easy to settle up the bill. I would highly recommend this bar a hidden gem tucked away in West Perth!

We have previously dined at Mayfair Lane and enjoyed both the food and the excellent wine list. Because of this we chose to book a small networking function (approx 30 people) with them and we were not disappointed. Their functions manager, Emma, was extremely helpful and very quick to respond to emails and questions, and the staff on the night knew exactly what was discussed. We will definitely be back and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to host a function or event.

Still confused on its prices, chasing the rich and famous which explains why very few were there. It's still expecting customers to repay their refurbishment from yesteryear with the majority of bar pub grub $35+ meals. Steak sanga ideal if you not hungry and $40+ for oysters.....it's not caviar!

Recently had a wonderful experience at the lovely Mayfair Lane. I made contact to ask if birthday wishes could be written on a dessert plate and we were moved to the chefs table and greeted by candles and a chalkboard sign saying happy birthday to my partner. The service was fantastic, wine list phenomenal and the food - amazing. Thank you Mayfair Lane. We'll be back! 🙂

Attended for our inaugural Insight Dinner Club. Our group of 10 had an excellent time, service was amazing and OMG, the wine list, so extensive, it was almost too hard to choose. And, if you ask this individual reviewer, the fact that they make my favourite cocktail was awesome ... and it tasted amazing too!! A real life candelabra on the table to set things off was an appreciated touch as well. Big thanks to Emma and the team at Mayfair!

Mayfair Lane is a one sophisticated kind of pub. We were welcomed by the magnificent vintage setting of the place. Staff were very attentive and warm. The menu offers a wide variety of mouth-watering main course that caters for both youngsters and adults. As per the photos, the quality of the dishes were thrilling and exquisite. My family and I really enjoyed the experience. Highly recommended!

I have recently visited this venue twice after 2 years away. A great choice of drinks, still the great atmosphere, but very disappointed in the meal sizes for the "tapas". Though tasty, for the average price of $20 these can only be described as tiny and not worth buying a couple to share between 2 people. I won't be buying anything other than wedges there again.

The food wasn't the best, quite bland. Also the service was slow, even though it was not that busy.

Called in after Melbourne Cup to celebrate our losses. we soon perked up when we saw the venue of this Pub. The crowd was still buzzing and the staff were still alert and doing their job. We ordered our dinner, seafood platter large, and drank a very cold Beer. Before the dinner arrived the pro-active staff member asked if she could bring us another drink when our mains came out. Very impressed with the location, food and staff, we will be back.

I recently celebrated my 40th Birthday here in the private dining room at a murder mystery themed dinner party. In the lead up to the event, communication with the event manager was fantastic and I was put right at ease. The staff were fantastic on the evening and the food was beautiful with generous serves. I recommend it.

Mayfair lane provides sophisticated yet relaxed ambience all in one. The staff are always attentive and clearly have a great knowledge of the product they sell. The decor and plate ware are synonymous of the gastro pub of inner London. Would absolutely recommend visiting for a great lunch or night out
