Really
awesome
venue,
great
beers
and
food.
Shame
about
the
works
going
on
though.
Ordered
food
and
drinks
then
sat
down
to
hear
an
insane
jackhammer
or
drilling
from
the
kitchen
with
the
renovations
going
on.
It
was
actually
so
loud
that
we
couldn’t
hear
each
other
speak.
We
were
looking
around
at
the
other
guests
and
everyone
was
surprised,
a
lot
of
people
were
complaining
and
leaving
their
food
and
drinks
to
exit
the
venue.
We
finished
our
meals
and
drink
and
I
went
up
to
one
of
the
bar
staff
and
asked
if
they
were
notifying
people
of
these
works
going
on.
The
person
who
appeared
to
be
the
manager
of
the
shift
(he
wore
a
blue
shirts
and
had
glasses
on)
was
really
rude
and
said
there
were
signs
all
over
the
restaurant
and
notifications
online
and
on
the
website.
Quite
sarcastically
leaving
me
feeling
terrible.
We
left
without
saying
anything
further.
We
saw
no
signs,
looked
online,
on
the
website
and
Instagram/
Facebook
and
the
only
mention
of
works
is
that
people
should
be”excited
for
the
renovations”.
I
used
to
manage
a
restaurant/bar
very
similar.
If
this
was
happening,
I
would
be
notifying
everyone
on
our
socials,
website
etc,
and
actually
having
signs
up
at
the
front
of
the
venue,
or
offering
discounts
for
the
heinous
noises
occurring
before
expecting
people
to
sit
down
and
pay
full
price
for
items
when
the
venue
is
not
able
to
offer
what
it
should.
As
I
said,
awesome
venue
and
great
menus
etc
but
this
was
super
disappointing.
I
think
the
person
I
spoke
to
should
learn
what
it
means
to
value
your
customers
and
not
be
rude
to
them
when
they
ask
a
simple
question
about
what’s
going
on
after
paying
$14
for
a
pint
of
beer.
