Ordered the 300g Sirloin, worst steak I have attempted to eat, left it on my plate. The Guineas was good. Update, the staff subsequently refunded the cost of the meal, which was a very good of them.

Gorgeous bar, great atmosphere, classic Irish pub, with a huge range of beer and whiskeys. Never had the chance to check the food though

What a meal! Huge Guinness Pie, with beef stew drowned in Guinness, mash potatoes like I never had before and vegetables cooked to perfection and those sausages just disappeared in minutes. We had to have their soda bread as well. The pub was full with bookings for Xmas in July but food came pretty quick while entertained by live music.

Great steak for a reasonable price! Served with salad and yummy fries. Of course a pint of of Kilkenny to wash it all down. The atmosphere was brilliant with beautifully finished woodwork. The place was spacious with seats on the verandah and inside. The staff were friendly and accommodating. What more could I ask for?

Looked up on Google for the best Sunday Roast and Yorkshire Pudding in Perth. Durty Nelly's popped up on one of the lists so I decided to book in for Mothers Day lunch. Our food was tasty, however some of our roast veggies were undercooked (I still ate them cos I was hungry lol). Nice friendly staff and atmosphere.

Lovely pub, great music, great people and service from everyone but one girl with dark red hair who aked to take my empty plate and I have explained that I didn't see the butter on the side so therefore I would like 1 more piece of bread please. I saw her turning around while saying sure and rolled her eyes and she never came back with anything! That shocked me abit that's why only 4 out of 5 stars, that's not a great service!! I wonder how she got employed! I don't know if it was because of the question itself or because I was stuttering. Either way, that's not how you treat customers or basically any human being!! I then went up to the counter and asked a guy for just a little piece of bread he said yes and also didn't come back. So I'll just ordered one though my phone via the app. If I can't get a small extra bread then please guys just let the customer know that. I ordered bread and all they had was a sweet bread, wasn't what I wanted but at least it was food 😄 Anyway apart from 1 person, everyone else was very sweet and the asparagus soup was delicious 😍

We were disappointed with our meals on 13th March. Not worth the money paid unfortunately!! Portion of chicken in the Irish curry was really small and the steamed rice was close to negligible! My husband had the fish and chips. The batter was oily and the 2 fish pieces were thin. We used to come here before when the food were fresher and bigger portions.

Amazing venue and staff. Was so easy to organise a function with around 70 people. The food was great and substantial. The barmaid in our own bar took care of everything. Everyone had a great time. The bar tab lasted way longer than expected and there were no issues with what drinks were covered. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a venue for a function or just a casual drink.

Durty Nelly's provides good pub food. On the day we were there the person serving as was grumpy and short. The pub is well laid out and the atmosphere is inviting. There is also Pleasant outdoor seating.

Came for the Sunday Roast and it did not disappoint. Portion was generous, tasty. However, yorkshire pudding a little hard. Love the interior decor and the selection of beers. Will definitely come again. St Patrick's Day?

Came with expectations and wasn't disappointed with what the pub had to offer. Ordered a medium rare sirloin which came out as ordered. Although the cut wasn't that fantastic, for an Irish pub, it was above average. The chicken and leek pie was tasty but the chips were slightly old. Prices were by and large aligned to most of the pubs in town, with mains averaging A$30+ and drinks A$13. What stood out was the 2 piece band. They were phenomenal even on a lazy Sunday! For the repertoire alone, it was worth the prices paid. What a blast we had!

Although this pubs pricing isn't as egregious as the other pubs I've been to in the area, the food is uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... There was about an oceans worth of unidentified liquid inside my burger, and it wasn't very well balanced visually and practically. Doesn't really stick together well either. I wish I wasn't so miffed about the food here, because other than the actual food the place seems kinda nice, but the service was also something I had my issues with. More than anything I just felt like a hurdle for the servers here. Whilst they did do a lot service wise, I did feel that block often.

When I’m craving a steak in the middle of the week, I always go here. They have a good steak special on Wednesdays with a generous serving of chips. The place is always clean and the service is friendly.

I love this pub and try to get there when I’m back in Perth. Great music, reasonably priced drinks and friendly staff. I’ve only eaten there once but all of our meals were great, with huge portions and were well priced. The Irish stew was a winner for sure.

Good old Irish pub. Could do with a bit of a refurb but its also go an authentic feel so a refurb may kill that vibe. Plus, the place was packed so there's obviously no need to change anything. Staff were great and moved through the busy bar quickly.

Its a good bar , the sort of place you take the lads for that overdue catchup and wear out the guiness taps, or treat your dad to a ( good) steak n chips with a pint by the real fireplace they have going in winter. Good craic, but no crackheads. Two thumbs up .

  • 3/5 Hilux 2 years ago on Google
We followed the higher ratings off google to dine here, and was only well... just a meal... The chicken was very nice, nice coating, tender... but the chips tasted like the oil was old and burnt, and weren’t served hot... maybe just warm at best... veggies were the same, cooked well like we like them but lacked in warmth.. 2 star feed, but service was good so I’ll give them one for that! May consider going back there if I was in area, but wouldn’t travel far for it

  • 4/5 Mark V. 3 years ago on Google
Food was really good. The portion size was a little small for meals you get at a pub. They didn't have BBQ sauce. Don't know if thats a Perth thing as 50% of the places I've gone to don't have BBQ sauce the first time. Beer was a good price and liked there local beers.

  • 3/5 Chris 2 years ago on Google
The salt and pepper calamari was tough, chewy, oily and didn't seem to have any salt and pepper on it at all. A real disappointment. The Parmi was a nice big serve although the chips seemed to be heavily made up of tiny little short end scraps. The Aussie Parmi was a bit different; had to try it but ultimately a little sweet for my Parmi taste buds due to the BBQ sauce I guess.

Well we saw this place 6 months ago....always wanted to have lunch here. So glad we did. She had the squid for 16$. Excellent and good size. I had the bangers and mash. Again good size with real onion gravy and sausages were great with a slight pepper taste . A very nice venue as well, especially sitting on the verandah., At nightime it would be nice as well with lights all along the roof. Highly recommended!! Great pub.

The best roast in whole Perth!! It's better on Sunday's as you can choose your meat, but even on Mondays it's really nice and even more affordable as it's only 20$ plus a Pint that is included. Thanks for all the nice meals we had here

  • 1/5 Kerin D. 1 year ago on Google
To say disappointed is an understatement. My partner was asked to leave after 3 drinks as he was deemed intoxicated because of the way he walks. The fact that the staff can't differentiate between someone that is intoxicated and someone who has an impediment - one leg a lot shorter than the other so walks with a very noticeable limp. He was given no chance to actually defend himself or explain. Yet they continued to serve a patron that was clearly intoxicated and annoying and abusing other patrons. This is down right discrimination at its finest and absolutely disgusting. Maybe staff should be trained with the SCAB method (Speech, Coordination, Appearance and Behaviour). Certainly will not be going back.

Just wanted to say how great Durty Nelly's Irish Pub is, we called in for the legendary Sunday Roast which is a steal at $22.00 a person and so full of flavour. A Great Pub, Great Atmosphere with Great food, keep it going as this place is a must to go to when you are in Perth.

Good atmosphere, good staff and good drinks. I was a few beers in the last time I had the Saturday special steak, but I distinctly remember that it was amoung the top 5 steaks of my life, and I'm VERY picky about my steak!

Loved the ambience. Service crew was delightful too. Good ‘ol Irish pub with a lovely menu. A pint or two of Guinness on tap makes your trip to the city worth it. The sirloin steak was gorgeous, the onion rings came in a generous amount and so were their chips. The fry up was amazing. And, the grilled prawns were yummy. A sure place for lunch when you are in the city. Cosy.

I had the best night in years at this fine establishment. Great location, great food, great booze, great entertainment, great women, and to cap it off I met up with an old mate that we hadn't seen each other in a very long time. Just one gripe, lower the prices of your booze, it's a bit steep. Thank you for the wonderful memories. I will be back.

  • 5/5 Salvo K. 1 year ago on Google
Overall experience of the place was very nice. Went in with a family of four chips were good but the dessert was excelent ice cream and crumble with cream. Ordered 2 Pints of guiness were exceptional clean and creamy. The service and employees were extremtly nice. Food was quite rich proper pub food and liked how the pub cares more about being a pub and not a restraunt. Suprised with the service and the pub itself being a sort of hidden bar. 5/5 guys keep it up definetly coming back with mates in the future.

Need a low key joint to chill with a stout, good music you thought you had forgotten and a brilliant meal for your dime? Had the Chicken parmigiana Tuesday Special for $18 (normally $26) Huge portion size, was tasty but not hot was just warm. Food took 35 minutes to come out after we questioned how much longer. Other than that, nice pub.

Rebecca was a pleasure, she chatted to our kids, made them feel welcome and they wanted to behave to impress her! The food was scrumptious. My 8 year old had lemon pepper squid and thought it was the best thing ever! Kids cheesy pasta was perfect for Miss fussy 4. Perfect place for a few Guinness with a meal.

Consistently excellent service food and atmosphere. As a native Irish man, it’s my go to in Perth. Weather it’s a hearty meal or a couple of sneaky pints I would highly recommend. Also has brilliant live music Friday Saturday and Sunday.

Definitely the place to go to! Lively! Just in Perth for a week. Been to four Irish pubs and this one was the best! Word of mouth got me here. Fantastic!

  • 5/5 Wooden Fly4 Q. 9 months ago on Google
I'm probably in the minority; I generally drop in when I'm looking for an upper-standard pub meal with pretty quick service. I'll have a couple of drinks with the meal, but I go for the meal not the drinks. That said I always enjoy a Guinness, or sometimes cider with the meal. I enjoy the occasional menu updates; but don't you dare take my beef and Guinness pie away. I sometimes go for a weekend meal with my daughter and family and the staff are unfailingly good with the youngsters. Hmm! This has got longer than intended. Cheers

If you're looking for an authentic Irish bar in the city, look no further. Grab a Guinness and some bangers and mash, hang out by the fire and enjoy the ambience. Food can be a bit slow when it's busy, but the staff are always great. Great for a boozy pub lunch on a Friday if you've had a good week!

Had such a great time at Durty Nellys! Food is incredible, proper pub grub and taste of Ireland. Fantastic live music, especially on Sundays and a great roast to go with it. Staff were lovely, Andrea was great! Will definitely be heading back for the best Guiness in Perth!

Great pub. Stopped in on the way to a concert. The creamy pints went down well with my chicken parmigiana, the wife had a chicken Caesar salad which she enjoyed. Our friends had a beef and Guinness pie and a very nice grilled salmon dish. Quite busy so had to wait a while to get a table but worth the wait.

Been here a lot of times and this place lets me down. This time i went they had a promo for chicken parma with salad and chips for cheap! It was massive and i was full after a few bites! There was live music and the place was full of people. Great ambience and will definitely go back.

Quite a poor atmosphere, very loud and cramped. Service at the bar is poor, staff can't keep clients away after they order. Steak varied from well done on one end down to medium rare on the other (seems like the cooking surface was not evenly heated before putting the steak on it). Chicken parmigiana was pretty dry and overcooked. Flavour was nothing outstanding. chips were soggy. Better places to eat and drink within 10 metres for less money.
