Went to the Palace arcade Friday avo/night Had a great time it started getting very busy around 7pm. We had the kids with us so we had to leave by 8 which was absolutely fine. Best to book a table as it gets quite busy on a Friday. Great atmosphere and staff and food was fantastic. Highly recommended

Excellent place to go the atmosphere is relaxing and the games take you back to 1980's Time Zone, yet it has a Bar which is excellent, food is Quirky, Pizza, Fried foods, purchase a card and you can play those games and eat and drink by the card or just pay normally. Not a Bad gig for all ages!!

I didn't plan to play at all, just wanted to try their food at first. We ordered pork jalapeno and cheese burger pizzas, buffalo wings and my favorite was spicy chicken tender (other than pizza). It was nice to share with friends and I ended up playing (and winning) some games. It was fun!

Pretty cool venue, some of the machines could use a service especially the fighting games where buttons and sticks are pretty bad. Overall tho I figure people are here to drink more so than the games. Food is fantastic, pizzas were great and the ice cream sandwich was soooo good, 8/10 would visit again.

Great ambiance, food, drinks and entertainment all in the one spot! Never knew such an awesome joint like this existed, of all places in Perth. Firstly, I can't thank all the staff there enough (in particular the crew running the bar upstairs) for their courteousness that made my first experience an awesome one. I'd like to commend all staff (inclusive of the kitchen team) working last Saturday (27 Jul 2019) when the premises was off its rocker at full capacity. My buddies and I waited in excess of an hour for our food by the bar but we fully understood all were under the pump. The customer experience management was handles so well with complimentary drinks and couple of games to keep us occupied (not that it was necessary or expected.) Had such a blast with the array of amazing nostalgic games that brought back so many memories of my and many others forgotten childhood. PACMAN / NBA JAM / PINBALL and Double Dragon were my winners for this weekend. Definitely coming back very soon... Maybe this weekend!

Really fun! Heaps of old school games to play brings back great childhood memories of the arcade. Grab a pizza, some cocktails or beer and play to your heart's content. Definitely a good place to go for a catch up with mates. Worth your time for sure.

Had a staff christmas party last night and everything was phenomenal! We had Spencer and Pablo as our bartenders and Rochelle as the venue manager and they were all so so friendly and made the party 10x better! Could not recommend this place and these people enough! ❤️

Our pizza slices were large and delish! Great variety of arcade games. Stoked that they had Point Blank and Time Crisis 🔫 Shout out to Cam (hope I got his name right but he was one of the managers) for the service. Such a cool fun dude 😊

Great atmosphere. I really enjoyed the food and there are some really nice cocktails too. Friendly staff, always willing to help out. Some of the arcade machines have bad controllers, which is understandable as they are 20+years old, so it might be better to select player 2 if you play to get the best experience.

Went as part of a function group, and had an amazing time! The venue manager Rochelle was an incredible host, and our bartenders Pablo and Spencer were phenomenal! The venue was spotless, boasted plenty of space for all of us, and the arcade games were a retro-lover's dream. The food was delicious, plentiful, and covered our whole range of dietary requirements (compliments to the chef!). Overall, a 10/10 experience, and a new go-to location for future events and good times in general!

Had a nice family outing with at Palace Arcade on a cold winter evening. Good choices of games on offer but was expecting more machines on site. Was later told by a friend the Northbridge venue has more machines on site. So, will try it out next time as we have heaps of credit left on our swipe card. Food was ok, lots of deep fried options. Was hoping they can offer some healthier options in future. Lemon lime bitter was a bit disappointing, could be better.

We had our work Christmas function here and it didn't disappoint. The wristbands and the game credit cards made everything so easy. The food was delicious with heaps of veggie options and the cocktails were delicious. The main standout was the staff. Everyone was super friendly and helpful and made our event such a plasure to attend. Thanks again - we will be back :)

Great venue with an awesome selection of retro arcade games and pinball. New York style pizzas and plenty of beers on tap = a great time! Go on, treat yourself to step back in time and play some Sega rally or even Time Crisis or Street fighter, you'll love it.

It is not so much about actually playing the games, more the vibe that is created around the nostalgia and alcohol. I absolutely love this place, as a destination, as a pass through or as a quick couple of drinks alone surrounded by good company. And, a challenge, if you desire to play one or more of the games 💪🏻🦾

Very cool place especially if you're my age. Which is old. Most of the old school machines I used to play after school with my mates. Plus great drinks and food. Ticks alot of boxes for a fun night out.

Great place for pizzas, beers, and cocktails, but many places have better options for that. The palace arcade has two floors with a bunch of classic games as well. The lack of multi-player games and the narrow design is what takes it down from a 4-star for me. Wouldn't mind to go back though.

Neat little venue hosting a variety of classic arcade and old school games. Beers on tap and a variety of bar food.

A lot of pin ball machines and really old arcade games. A little noisy and dark. Decent food and drink prices. Games are paid using a prepaid card, each game play is only $1 so pretty good value for a retro gaming outing.

Cannot fault this place. From the moment we enter its the atmosphere for me. It also takes me back with the arcade gamed of my childhood. The drinks are great and the small food we got. The games are great value for price and just a great night. Perfect date with the hubby. Had so much laughs

Absolutely wonderful - the drinks, the food and hospitality from the staffs; everything is just so welcoming. I really had a very good time here in Christmas eve. If you're a fan of arcades and booze, this is the place you wouldn't want to miss. I'm happy to get to try it out before they're off for holiday but I will definitely come back again when 2021 starts!

Pinballs, video games, beer and pizza. What more would you want? This venue is more than meets the eye with a whole basement also full of games. The bar is comprehensive and the staff approachable and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our two outings there. A really good team building venue.

So much fun with all your favorite games to choose from. Just so you know, each pizza slice was twice as big as my face

We had a fantastic night here :) Props to the bar staff who on an already busy Saturday night, seemlessly co ordinated our group. Those guys work hard all night and somehow remain to be the friendliest, most patient people. Thank you Palace Arcade 💖

The whole idea of this concept is great, but the execution and ongoing maintenance of machines is lacking, we visit Perth a few times a year and enjoy visiting the Northbridge location...just recently visited with an old mate but finding certain machines not working properly or working at all, the one biggest gripe of all however is why are the volumes of games turned right down and modern music drowning out the atmosphere, if you going to run a retro themed bar how's about running with the actual idea....just saying 😉

Good. Decent beer selection. Games decent value at $1/2 each. I like pinball

  • 2/5 James F. 4 months ago on Google
Nice variety of games. Unfortunately many of them were in various states of disrepair making them semi unplayable. Most had the sound turned right down or off which detracted from the arcade experience. Was looking forward to playing the pinball machines and was disappointed by issues with sticking flippers and buttons. The ACDC didn't even have a working plunger. For a place that makes you preload a card you feel a bit robbed.

Love this place, will come back for sure. I love the gigantic American style pizzas.

This place is amazing. Great food, awesome drink selection and the staff are all wonderful. It would be perfect if they gave the arcade machines a little TLC though ;) So many of the joysticks are flogged out, although it was a pretty good excuse for why I lost at MK2

Went at 10.15pm, bought a games card. Bartender said they were closing, 10 minutes after purchasing the card. They refused refund even though bar was advertised as closing at midnight and we weren’t warned before buying the games card. Staff said it wasn’t busy enough. There were 15 other people which seems good for a very small bar on a Thursday night. Wouldn’t recommend.

  • 3/5 Priya K. 1 year ago on Google
Pizzas were ok, although ingredients were very sparse on them. Didn't bother me too much much since I paid $12 (Thursday special) but I definitely wouldn't pay the normal $22 for that. Cocktails were excellent. They used to do 1/2 price cocktails on Thursday, and there was even a advert about that on the menu but when we asked they said they weren't doing it anymore and we could only get the cocktail of the week special. Not the first time I've had the experience here where signage differed from what is actually on offer.

Really good pizza! Was not expecting such nice pizza, had a very pleasant lunch there, and played a few games as well. The drinks menu is a bit limited but apart from that a nice vibe

Had a work get together at the Palace Arcade recently. We all had an excellent afternoon. The booking process was simple and the crew behind the during out event were exceptional, friendly and full bottles on the beers on offer. The food was absolutely delicious. Pizzas are huge and the onions rings were one of I've ever had. Plus it was good to play pinball again. Would highly recommend the Palace Arcade.

We love this place! The cherry cola is by far one of the tastiest drinks I've ever had! Lovely service and fun games, wish you were in Tassie!

We held a social event with our work last Friday - This is an awesome venue not only for prices but value for money. Great service from the team at Northbridge, amazing food and the cocktails are delicious. Not my first and definitely not my last visit.
