Absolutely amazing experience here at Public house. The food was incredible and was very tasty. It has a nice vibe and good atmosphere. It’s got the feeling of being fancy in the city without breaking the bank with top quality food! The service was excellent. Ciaran was exceptional. He knew the menu and food with great knowledge, depth and clarity, recommending the best options for us. He was also training another staff member during our dine in, and did such a terrific job with guiding the new employee while maintaining our table service. I have returned since my first visit and still just as impressed. I highly recommend visiting Public House.

This is a great little spot if you are after some after work drinks with some nibbles. I recommend the chicken. It was spicy with a delicious crispy coating. There is definitely something for everyone on the menu. There is plenty of seating outside to enjoy people watching. I noticed there is a decent sized room for functions which looked like it could be closed off for exclusiveness. The staff behind the bar were particularly lovely, you could see they worked well as a team to get drinks/ cocktails ordered, made and out. My only criticism would be he was either the manager on duty or owner of the place. He is rude and unnecessarily unpleasant which is a shame for the rest of the team. He’s not enough though for me not to want to return.

Good pub style food and drinks. The Red Emperor fish tasted ok, and had some good accompaniments making it an enjoyable dish. It was however overly fishy smelling. Other drinks and starters tried were also nice, but nothing was a standout for the price. Servings are quite large. Cocktails were average. I booked a table and was put in a back wall where it was really quite hot. I think the air conditioner was later turned up, which made it a bit more comfortable. Not a great ambience.

Wouldn't be right to give it a 4. The service was very good, the place was packed out, very clean, private function room available, lovely food, but I don't recommend the glass of brut. The prosecco was nice. My Caesar salad was very nice and I would buy it again. A good night enjoyed by all

Fantastic Thursday lunch! Lovely fresh steak Sanga! Good chips! Parmi was good, fresh salad with it. Brookvale United ginger beer on tap... they do a $22 lunch special with a drink(not ginger beer). Otherwise $18 lunches. Will be back.

5 stars doesn't seem enough for the Public House, an absolutely stunning bar and restaurant. We had our small wedding reception/dinner there and I cannot thank the staff enough. They were so friendly and helpful, the food was SOOO good. Highly recommend Public House! We will definitely be back, thank you so much for a wonderful evening :)

The food here was delicious, great flavours and well presented! The service was prompt and the food arrived in good time. The atmosphere is nice with attractive lighting and decor. Reasonable prices too for the quality of the food… I would come back here to eat or have drinks again without hesitation

Great sprawling pub towards the outskirts of the City centre at 263 Adelaide Terrace. There Bistro menu has a selection for everyone including some tasty sounding vegetarian dishes like Red Bean Rendang Burger, Mushroom Curry with Brown Basmati Rice or Cesarecce Gorgonzola fonduta, Zucchini, Pumpkin, Cherry tomato, Toasted hazelnuts and Pamezan. They also offer some fantastic daily lunch specials with no bookings neccesary. To top it all off, there is also a great little private dining/function room that can fit 40 seated or 60 cocktail style, or if you have bigger things in mind...... You can hire the entire venue for upto 300 cocktail style. I was attending an amazing networking event for the UN Association of Australia WA Division and would highly recommend this combination of venue and networking to become a regular event.

Fantastic service and great food, loved the atmosphere and was not too crowded either. Great range of beverages and food. I was watching the AFL football and there were plenty of TVs to look at. We sat inside which was very nice and had plenty of room. A big thanks to the staff for being so helpful and friendly. I highly recommend Public House for sure

We had a small wedding reception at public house and everything was fantastic. Right from the initial communication Justin and his team were very accommodating and helpful, nothing was a problem. The private dining room was perfect for a more intimate gathering. The food and drinks were superb and all our guests were very impressed with everything. Will definitely be going back next time we have another occasion to celebrate :)

Arrived here really hungry and went for the rump steak, super quinoa salad and a beer. Service was excellent. Elizabeth had great attention to detail and it was noted :) Food was also great! Price wise, both the steak and salad were competitive and well cooked. Serving size was generous. Would come back again!

Friendly and kind staff. The food was fine. Menu with several options. It is a big venue with lots of tables.

It a tad loud (acoustically) but the service made up for it. We were seated quickly, without a reservation. The food was mostly good. The meat skewers were a bit dry and tiny so not sure if that was meant to be that way? Would have loved for the chef to be more generous with the dulche de leche so it wouldn’t look like a bit of bird poop and that it is actually meant to be on the plate 😉 Yes, I would go back.

This is our work local. Normally can't go past their excellent chicken parmigiana, but had to try the Buttermilk chicken burger. I was not disappointed. Lovely mix of flavours. Great table service as usual for our group booking.

$100 for the worst feed I’ve ever had. Garlic bread was okay. Everything else was over cooked. Lamb ribs entree was well over cooked. Didn’t get a photo of everything but I did get one of the chicken burger. If it was cooked for a minute longer it would of just vaporised.

Pretty wicked place. Food was yummy, service was awesome, and atmosphere was pretty good for a place that was packed out! Had the sushi bowl and it was delicious, definitely coming here again :)

Very enjoyable lunch with a couple of old friends. Busy Friday but the service was excellent. Good food, very reasonably priced. I was accidentally charged for an extra meal, might have been my fault when ordering, but picked up by the staff and they came to the table to arrange a refund. Will certainly go back.

The meat from Kangooroo Fillet and Public House Burger were tender. House-made corn chips were nice too.We both enjoyed our meal despite slow customer service as there were only 2 staff that day.

I had a vegetarian Poke bowl during lunchtime at Public House on 14/9/21. It was priced at $18 and was on the menu as one of the "lunch specials". I was quite taken aback when it arrived as a small bowl, with just a spoon of warm noodles and mixed salad. This should have been listed as a Starter/Appetiser or a side dish. The only reason why I didn't give this place one star is because the table, cutlery and premises were clean and organised. The service was also good, although the food took longer than the time I was told it would arrive before ordering. The Poke bowl is way overpriced for the quality and quantity of its ingredients. It's a pity that the management has not paid much attention to the food they are serving. I left the Public House feeling not only disappointed, but angry. It was too late to find something else to eat.

Had a loverly Sirloin Steak and to top it off , the girls made my first Hurricane. Beautiful.

The interaction of the staff were awesome. The tucker was brilliant. We didn't have to wait long for our meals even though they were busy. Thumbs up. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Food was very tasty. It's a restaurant where I wanted to have nearly everything on the menu, even some of the vegan stuff and that's not like me.. I will be going back as the dry aged steak was very good and I want to try the morrocan lamb rump.

My son was a little tipsy when he ordered the mushroom burger. He didn't realise that meant only mushrooms! The kitchen has just closed but the chef still made my son a burger with bacon to add to his mushrooms! Great service!

The meat dishes are really good and okay portioned, so nothing to complain there. But I honestly can't wrap my head around how a restaurant in the CBD of a larger city still cannot fry and season tofu properly in the year 2021. Vegetarian options are increadibly overpriced for what you get. Summer salad looks like a side dish, does not have enough of a very blend dressing and well, I mentioned the tofu before, but is priced like a main. This needs improvement! Other than that the atmosphere is really nice and the staff very friendly!

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and amazing food, this is our "go to" place when we stay in a Hotel in the city.

We had a private party here. The food was amazing considering they served almost 100 people and everything was perfect. The staff was helpful and friendly. We had a great time.

If you aren’t sure where to have your next function or event, then look no further!!! Public house bar and kitchen provides such an amazing atmosphere and the best quality staff for your service. Justin and all the staff who work there go above and beyond to look after you and cater for what ever you may require. We will definitely be having many more functions to come at this venue!

Went there last night, sorry but I was underwhelmed. The menu was trying to be too fancy and didn't deliver on flavour. ☹ Positives: Pork was enjoyed, the fish taco starters were really good, chips were great, but the rest was blah. Blah: veg curry, chicken katsu and prawn and chorizo pasta. Even the long island ice tea tasted weird. Service was good but more robotic than warm and fuzzy. Sorry guys it was good to try but won't be back any time soon. Good luck. 🍀

Friendly courteous service, great atmosphere, very good food. All without the over the top pricetag usually associated with good city wining and dining. Would recommend every day, except Sunday and Monday, when they are closed.

A good pub with pretty decent grub. I wouldn’t write home about it, but the steak was solid and crispy chicken sandwich delivered on the crispyness and chickeness so can’t complain.

Loved it! We had such a great dining experience at this restaurant. The Food, the service, the staff and atmosphere was lovely. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and the dessert was delicious! Would love to dine here again and try more of their delicious menu.

This place was great. Came here at 6 before a 7.30 concert. Had plenty of time. We wanted the Salmon, but they were out of it so was replaced with barramundi. It was so good, with sweet potato perfectly cooked, asparagus and wasn't swamped with sauce. Then we shared the apple and rhubarb dessert. Glad we did, as I couldn't have eaten it all. The food was tasty, the staff observant, quick and lovely. Perfect spot to eat.

Good service and nice food with large portions. It would have been perfect if I could have ordered a mushroom sauce and side of vegetables with my pork chop, but alas sauces veggie sides can only be served with steaks! A bizarre rule that confounds customers and ultimately loses them money

Booked our wedding in the function room at Public House and could not fault it. The room setup was amazing - the food was fantastic. Staff are the best. Highly recommend them. Thank you so much for everything you did to make this wedding such a special day.

Located in the middle of the CBD on Adelaide terrace . Decent burgers and the have the must haves , chicken parmigiana and steak sandwich.

Convenient location to Royal Perth Hospital. Lively corner spot. Busy with Christmas party goings on this night (a Thursday) Everyone enjoyed their meals, which were reasonably priced. Wait staff were managing the workload quite competently. Our group of 30 were comfortably seated in a private function room, where the A/C coped well on a warm night. Acoustically, the room was uncomfortably loud with this excitable bunch.

Always good, staff are nice, location is great if you live in or are visiting the city. I've only ever tried the chicken breast as it's that good that all I want when I go each time!

We wanted a light bite to eat for dinner and so just popped casually past to check the menu. It seemed quite a good variety of various cuisines. Staff gave us a table for 4 even though just 2 of us but that was great as we could stretch out. Service was great with friendly staff.

A great venue with plenty of seats inside and outside. The service was excellent with the owners on hand working and overseeing everything - impressive. The food was great and I must admit, better than expected. Friendly and attentive service all while having two functions to mangane. I highly recommend.

Nice atmosphere and good table service. Food came out quick (lunchtime), was a generous serve and tasty.

The service staff was well trained, proficient and friendly even on a very busy night with two huge office functions on the night. The roast lamb off the set Christmas function menu was rather mediocre, and I think they must have ran out of finesse for the night as it was served with what looked like full sized carrots shaved down to look like baby carrots. They were cold and tasteless. The salmon had better review, well cooked and tasty and the turkey was "very delicious." The Christmas pudding trifle was surprisingly delightful.

I’ve been meaning to try this place for a while and I’m so glad I did tonight. Came out for a few drinks and dinner with some friends and had a great evening. The food was impeccable (bao buns and beef cheek gnocchi) and the service was faultless. I’ve worked in hospitality for a long time and a server like Ciaran is hard to come by. From the moment I called to make the booking till we left he was a breath of fresh air and an example of how service should be. Looking forward to returning soon.

Let's start with the good things first: food here is excellent, the lamb shank was very delicious and flavourful. The meatballs and chicken parmigiana was lovely too. Beverages wise, they have a good range of beers on tap, making it a great drinking place. The not-so-good: because it's more of a drinking place than a restaurant, service is lacking. No one really kind of told us where to go or came with menus until we asked.

No respect for customers very bad customer service i ordered a couple of drinks and i got served totally different with no apology or refund
