Came here for breakfast with daughter She had the granola bowel which she rated 5/10 The peanut butter she wasn’t overly a fan of. We love our crunchy peanut butter and prefer the non sweetened/sugar variety (Pics for example). I get a natural peanut butter might be too dry for this but a sweeter peanut butter. Granola was sweet but had lost its crunch and tasted a bit stale. I had the Buddha bowl with Salmon which was roughly similar. It was tasty but slightly bland. Service was excellent.

Exquisite experience, lovely decor and great service. High tea is a treat. There’s a decent amount of beers on tap too.

We purchased a red balloon voucher for the 3 course meal with a glass of wine. We opted to get at an extra cost a bottle of wine to share and some hot chocolates at the end of our night. The food, was AMAZING! the only thing we didn't like was affagato, that was not the nicest. But it is each to their own. There were a few choices available for the entree, main and dessert. Quite the variety of different tastes but not enough option to make you feel overhwelmed. We really enjoyed our meal here and look forward to coming back next time we are in the state. Our waiter/bar tender (Qwan so sorry about the spelling!) was so lovely. He was patient and very accommodating to requests we made. Thank you guys.

Had the best night with the team. Must say the best Christmas party I’ve hosted in my 23 years at the company. Food was excellent as was the service. Great location, amazing cocktails and gin options. The directors were impressed as were all the other 170 guests. Thanks to Manager Farooq and the team at The George. Would definitely recommend!

We ordered the $50 set which included a glass of bubbles. The savory bites were delicious as were the sweets however the high tea lacked in table presentation and table service. We were not informed of the morsels served. A centre piece, suitable cutlery (cake fork, desert spoon, tea plates and teapots). Dinner plates and dinner knife and fork were not appropriate.

We decided to try the Tomahawk steak at The George. Finally on a Saturday night, we decided to come to The George for dinner. We are very impressed with the service that they provided. The wine recommendation was really good. The only thing is that part of Tomahawk steak was a bit overcooked. It comes with a variety of sides steam vegetables, salad, mash potatoes, duck fat potatoes. As for desserts we had the apple turnover and chocolate dessert. We finished off with Earl Grey tea. We are very impressed with the customer service. We will return again!

It was painfully mediocre. The website says it opens at 12.30pm on a Sunday. Came at 1pm. had to wait 15minutes to be let in for the high tea. Bad service. Only 1 waiter. 2 more waiters came 30 minutes later. Sticky bathroom floors. Food was cold, bland and overpriced. Scones were dry.

I hosted a Hi-Tea at the george last weekend and fell in love with this venue. The food was reasonably priced, tasted amazing and everything came out on time. They definitely deserve this 5 star rating for going above and beyond with this service.

What an experience it is to dine at The George! The only fault I have is the martini. Glass and tin to be chilled. 5ml fresh vermouth (if the bottle is open for longer than a week the flavour profile changes) over ice, add gin and STIR (do not shake, James Bond is not a genius). Let flavours combine naturally, shaking is for emulsion purposes. Garnish was great but for the extra little kick, an orange peel twist which has had the oils ignited over the martini would top off your cocktail well. I think I went off topic. Keep up the great work guys!

Fantastic service, open nice and early, and the pricing is reasonable. Large flat white was smooth and creamy, the George Grande was cooked perfectly and was delicious.

Just got back from dinner at The George Perth, after reading some of the reviews on Red Balloon, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but we were very happy, as our visit exceeded our expectations, our sizzling Prawns were actually sizzling and very hot, when served and were delicious, our mains Sirloin Steak, was so tasty and for dessert we had the chocolate fondant which was delicious and the Afagato was just nice to finish a delicious meal…..thank you very much to our lovely hostess, who made us feel very welcome.

Went to the George for a work Christmas get together. Place was open and inviting, lovely atmosphere. We did have some issues regarding the food and some miss communication regarding kitchen closing time. I ordered a ceaser salad that came later the stakes? And it was quite salty.enough so that I couldn't finish it. We had planned on getting desert but apparently the kitchen close at 8pm which we were not advised of. I think the wait staff went on break which I have no issue with but it wasn't advertised. Manager was able to organise a few chocolate fondants and icecream which was really lovely. Few issues of the online menu being different then the actual menu that they given you in the restaurant also. Okay price for value. Would still return was despite these small issues

Recently had a nice intimate dinner at the George with my partner. Food was amazing we ended up having full three course meal and the linguine was the highlight. Staff were very attentive and gave great recommendations for food and cocktails. Will be returning again

Booked high tea for school girls catchup who are now in their mid 30s. Lovely service and food. We were able to enjoy a lengthy catchup. The Prosecco is delightful, as was the Scottish gentleman who works there (he's also easy on the eyes ladies). Worth a visit.

We were pretty disappointed by our trip to The George last night. The mushroom risotto came out with extra liquid and had big chunks of carrot and capsium as well as undercooked onion and mushroom. It needed salt and pepper too but there was none around nor any servers once food came out. The chicken parima was okay. We only ordered lemon lime bitters to drink but they tasted like soda water, so I didn't drink mine. Again, no one came over even though I clearly didn't drink mine. This place has gone verydownhilll since we last came years ago.

I’ve had a number of bottomless high teas. This time a hens high tea was arranged for my daughters hens. The cocktails were revolting! Watered down and looked tacky in big jugs. Myself and my friends had paid $100 per head and ended up having to order our own Prosecco’s and champagne. To make it at least palatable. Tea and coffee was only offered once and no milk set o. The tables. Stale sandwiches and dried out scones does not make $100. One of my friends bought a bottle of Bollinger and that was off! No refund of course. Very expensive and very disappointed.

Can someone tell me when this restaurant closed please? I purchased a gift voucher for a friend in July 2023. I suspect it closed before then which means it was taking money for bogus services. There is nothing I can do about it but would like to have clarification simply for my own edification

Great spot. Warm & friendly. Delicious, well-cooked & well-presented food. The only negative was that the kitchen closed at 1.30pm.
