When you eat at a restaurant, not only you go there for good food but also for a good time. *Food - Okayish! Wouldn't complain much. *Ambience - Good in the evenings for a small place. *Staff - Professionally rude. Thought maybe me and my friends were the only ones treated that way (because we are tourists). But guess what, even some of the locals complaint about the same in their reviews. People over at the restaurant behave as if they are the ones paying for our food and doing us a big favour. Fact that management don't care is also disappointing.

$21 will get you anything off a select menu of pastas, steak, chicken, even chilli mussels, as well as a pint! Now that’s good value! The steak was cooked perfectly too, with a mild Smokey taste.

My partner and I live in the city and like to try different places to eat… we walk past Rubix often and decided to try… not disappointed at all… We ordered and shared a prawn and mango salad and the chilli mussels with garlic bread.. both dishes were delicious and at $15 each it was amazing value… friendly staff and good atmosphere.. Will definitely be back.

Came here Thursday 29 September, female bar staff rude. They charge top dollar for a rude experience. If she does not want to work on hospitality, many people out of work would do her job.

Had a dinner there. The food I had was great. It was good value at $25 with pint of beer. The pepper sauce was great.

Great food and drink deals in the heart of Perth CBD, food good value for money and very prompt. Playing good music and bartender Kale is so helpful and friendly! 😉

The beetroot salad is a handful of spinach, a few walnuts, a few slices of canned beetroot and some crumbled fetta. A preschooler could do better. Staff unfamiliar with menu items. Also ordered nachos with guacamole as an extra, no guac available but charged for it anyway.

For me it's all about value for money and looking after the customer.. This place is great. Cheap drinks amazing food. Just pub grub but exceptional value and awesome quality. I highly recommend this place if you're in Perth.

The service was perfect the woman infront was nice except for a waiter he was new I think but I asked some stuff to him and he didn't khew what I asked him I just wanted a beer and waited for the other woman who was busy so I dont blame her

Had the meal deal @Rubix Perth. Requested medium steak. However, all 3 steak meal overcooked & didn't taste fresh. Staff reminded us they were going to close by 8pm. It was only 7pm & published closing time was 8.30pm. Didnt feel like a welcomed customer. Not a pleasant meal experience.

Good bar, good food, good atmosphere but no set time on opening. Sometimes open at 11.30, one staff member has said 12, sometimes 11.15 people are walking in. Google says 11am.

If good pub food and a lively atmosphere is what you're looking for then this place is for you. The Rubix burger is in a league of its own, the best I've tasted in a long time, 5*s.

Rubix it's not too bad it's very busy on the Friday night because of late night shopping Friday in the cit. There are plenty of tables and chairs inside and outside has longer table and chairs with umbrellas

A nice, quiet place with friendly staff. Not a huge selection of foods but what I had was good. Not the largest cocktail selection but overall good for drinks.

On Tuesday, my friend and I had a beef hamburger and a steak sandwich there. The food was so yummy. The burger was juicy. Even though it was around 2:30 PM, past lunchtime, I could feel the chef's love in the cooking. The chips were also very fresh and hot. It was the best burger , chips and steak sandwich I have ever had in Perth.

Just ordered a chicken fillet burger and chips no worries,,I got a processed chicken patty,,won't be back ,,staff even said after I reminded him I ordered was a chicken fillet burgerthey wouldn't eat that ,,thanks guys for not even saying anything after I ordered knowing I'll get a chicken processed patty's.. Words can't explain how low that trick is!!! Anyway the beer was cold my 1st and last ,, Just hope anyone asks in detail what they actually mean when ordering food!!! It's all abt the money!!!! Seriously who does processed chicken patty's at a bar !!!
