The bar girl was rude, the manager was rude too & the pizza took so long to come out when there was only 3 or 4 tables for orders & it was nice but skimped on everything. I can see why no one comes here, so sad bc its such a great venue.. Oh, the waitress in the garden was lovely, too bad she has to work with these ppl.

The Worst Prawn pasta I have ever had in my life !! Maybe if lucky there were two prawns and they were cut into 1 cm pieces. The pasta was under cooked and no Chilli flavour. Epic fail. Will never eat at the Brisbane again.

Visited here a couple of times during a stay in Perth. Its a large pub with a large and nice outdoor terrace. The food here (a beef brisket burger) was delicious.

The service was excellent, but the food here is just horrible! The menu is pretty limited ( a decent Salad wouldn’t go astray) and most of the group of ten, were not overly impressed with their meal. Two of us had the Chicken Burger which was over salted, deep fried and dry and had a very unpleasant hot spice rub. The burger was served on a brioche style bun which collapsed whilst eating, so knives and forks were needed. When a pub is unable to make a decent Chicken Burger and a decent Risotto (because that too was really poor) then the signs are there that the kitchen needs a complete overhaul. All the meals came out at different times (so I had finished my meal by the time the last person was served), so the concept of eating as a group didn’t happen. The head chef needs to check what the food tastes like, because I would guess they wouldn’t be eating there. I did provide feedback on the day, but I doubt it was given to the kitchen. The venue is great, but the food really needs to improve. There are too many other good pubs out there serving great food.

Awesome local pub. Garden bar is spacious and well sheltered. We started with a round of entrees. They were massive so we never made it to mains. The staff were super friendly and booze was cold.

My favorite local ever!! This bar and restaurant has the nicest staff and yummiest food. The mushroom pizza and Sunday feast. YUMMM. Shout out to manager Gerry who is always friendly and attentive to detail, remembers you by name. Music is great too. Can’t fault this place. Keep up the good work legends!

Really enjoyed the afternoon here. Had a work Christmas party and were seated inside in a corner area which gave us a lot of room and space to open gifts etc. You can order at your table or go up to the bar. Food was OK but I only ordered the salt and pepper squid. Pizzas ordered by others looked great though. Cocktails were delicious at about $20 each.

I’ve always wanted to drop by for a beer at this place and I finally did. The venue looked amazing whenever I pass by here. Even more charming inside than looking from the gate. It’s got a beautiful Koi pond. Beers were great as well. Would love to come back when the live music’s on.

Like most places at the moment, they seem to have a lot of new staff behind the bar so it was challenging to get answers about the food or wine. The food was good and despite ordering the same drink 4 times, I paid a different amount each time so that was interesting. Was there for a quiz night, fun night, food came out quickly so over all not bad.

Prearranged group booking tables were given to others. Long wait for alternative tables. Really long wait for food 40 mins plus. Burnt steak, more rice in Poke bowl than anything else and very bland. Pizzas were not tasty. Not returning.

A small group of us visited the Brisbane today for a lazy public holiday lunch and we were thrilled with the customer service. The staff went so far as to get to know us all by name, and we also noticed another staff member give cups of fish food to a group of kids who were fascinated by the fish pond. The food was nice, the venue has a great relaxed atmosphere and the level of the service was really memorable.

Amazing staff and food! They welcomed my little English Bulldog “Sucre” with such joy and gave him treats. Definitely returning back!

Beware of email offers of a “meal discount”. After eating I was challenged to pay full price despite there having been no mention of “minimum spend” conditions either in the email offer nor signage of such in the venue. I stood up to the bar manager on this after they repeatedly insisted that there were “minimum spend conditions” (how is the customer to know this before booking, or on the night?) ………………………… Reply to Seb (below): On the night, neither your Bar Manager nor another bar staff could show me where in your email offer there was any mention of “T&C”, “minimum spend” etc (I have the email). I use “Beware” for exactly the reason you have demonstrated here in your reply (false assertion by you and non-existent “T&C”). I got the discount only because I stood up to your Bar Manager’s repeated assertion of “conditions” that were not evident in your email offer. The discount was not in the least graciously given. Hence, “Beware”.

What a disappointment! Being told by an extremely rude/aggressive bartender we had obviously never had a real espresso martini because we dared to ask for a top up as it was literally half foam, and being swore at and belittled, I can safely say we won’t be returning! Such a shame I used to love this place! 🍹

Great if you want a beer after work, but the "restaurant" area is terrible. The massive speakers make it impossible to hear the person in front of you and the crowd at the bar pushes up against your table. You can't use the QR code at the table to order and you have to order food in the huge bar line... will not return in future

First ⭐ staff were very nice, friendly not always the case . Second and third⭐ common sense with the food, so often you will go to a restaurant and they won't budge on the menu🤷, They make you waste one food, so you have to order the one you want to🤦. Not here, how easy was it to put salad on the plate instead of fries. Even cut my girls chicken burger in half for her. Service and using your head worth a review. Fourth ⭐ great venue, comedy site up stairs, during the week, they're killing it, great DJ. and bands, I love comedy, you can bring your pets in the beer garden. Don't like the smoking section, Queens got rid of theirs No allocation of fifth⭐ not liked it used to be, the atmosphere needs help. Can Cater to big groups.

Awesome casual setting for a big night or just popping in for a quick coffee. Bit pricey but such a nice place, makes it worth it. Got to go there at least once. Do it. 5 years later and we still come here for top quality food in a lovely setting right near the city for a long Friday arvo lunch.

Can get quite busy on the weekend. Have visited a couple times, the barramundi is delicious and was well presented and also tried the fish tacos which were underwhelming. The service is quick and friendly.

Such a great place to catch up with friends or family for a bite or a drink. An even better place to go have a meal or a drink if you are alone.Great service from the team and the chilli mussels special on a Monday is one of my favourites.

A bit more than your usual pub. Nice atmosphere , not too loud, great for a night out. The food was really awesome, the Twice Cooked Potatoes are a must try!

I had my birthday party at this place and it was amazing!! The garden is such a great area to make your guests fell like home. I would like to thank you the manager Gerry who took care of my booking so well, also Renata providing everything always friendly and helpful. It was such a great service.

Hey, man! So, I gotta share this groovy experience we had at the Brisbane Hotel. Picture this: it's a lazy Sunday afternoon, the vibes are chill, and me and my mates are soaking up the good times. Now, my partner, they're all about that Sunday roast, you know? But this time, they had this far-out lamb shank as the special. I thought it was such a premium choice, all fancy and whatnot. But hey, my partner wasn't feelin' it, man. Different strokes for different folks, I guess. But fear not, my friend, 'cause the regular menu had us covered with some righteous pizzas and steak sandwiches. Let me tell ya, they were like a taste explosion in our mouths, pure bliss. The flavors were so on point, we couldn't help but dig it. And check this out, the service was top-notch! They had this rad online ordering system that worked like a breeze. We placed our order, and like magic, the food arrived at our table flawlessly. It was like the universe conspiring to satisfy our munchies, man. All in all, the Brisbane Hotel delivered a far-out experience. It's the kind of joint where you can kick back, dig into some seriously tasty grub, and let the good times flow. If you find yourself cruisin' around, make sure to drop by. Peace, love, and good eats, my friend.

Absolutely stunning pub. Live music and Oasis comedy club upstairs. The staff was very nice and most helpful. Grub was really good, too. Defo going back.

Food was good and a great range of beer on tap and bottled. Popular pub which does get busy on weekend's. If driving watch your parking as I am positive the parking inspectors work on a commission basis.

Outdoor area has recently been freshened up (paint, decking etc), looks and feels good. Staff always great, beer could have been colder - 5 stars then.

Had a bad Espresso martini experience in Paridiso, asked the ingredients for here in the Brisbane and a possible taste test. Was told were made fresh to order so no. Ordered Proseccos then manager said no I'll make one to try for us. Bloody nice of them and it hit the spot. Some times people are really nice, just because 👍

The Brisbane in the past took pride in their product. However, now, less than average in the food department. The front bar staff are lovely, helpful, and happy. The food is 2/10. Enjoy a drink, do not eat.

This is a nice place to go for a meal, or just a drink. The food is good, with a varied menu. There's seating indoors and outside in an enclosed area. It's often busy, but I've managed to get a table without booking. I'd recommend a visit.

The 4 of us today had a few drinks and not a single glass was clean .. No food choices for our vegan friends either besides fries or a 'pizza' that is Turkish bread .... Oh the Salad was nice ! - Wouldn't recommend the joint ...

Cool bar! Though large and kind of difficult to navigate it is a really good space. Staff were super friendly and drink prices were competitive. Menu is lovely though there's nothing low carb on the menu from what we could find.

Good pub with really friendly staff. Came in for some drinks and food. The guy at the bar was very friendly and provided great service. Nice ambience out door area with a good crowd. We got a series of small items to share, and all were fantastic. Would highly recommend.

We loved our lunch at the Brisbane Hotel, we shared the Salmon and Burger and had a Southseed Cocktail to start, staff were friendly, atmosphere fabulous for a catch-up with old friends. We were on a time restraint as well, the service and presentation was 1st class. It was private and we loved the outside beer garden. We’ll be back!

The meals were awful. Lamb ribs sauce was tasty but runny and ribs were cold and fatty. Burgers looked liked they were micowaved. When the foodie of our group leaves food it says it all. A couple of staff were friendly Service was lacking

Good food. We all enjoyed our meals. Table service was good all staff were friendly and cherry. Atmosphere was good. We had a meal in the outdoor area nice protected location from sun a full wind. Access is very good for all even mobility impaired. Heaps of park. Only free 1st hour the pay (typical for City of Perth out for every cent) but 1hr free is good.

Well it's a beautiful venue and the staff was friendly but that's about it. The menu is limited . The meals over priced as is the beers. I had the ribs which I liked but had to order a side salad. My wife ordered the 38 dollar steak. Asked it to be cooked medium and it came out rare. Ask to cook it further and out came half a steak. So we asked were was the other half. The waitress went back to the kitchen and said the chef will cook you another steak. That's fine but how do you lose half a steak. The other couples also where not over thrilled with their meal. Over all won't be eating there again which is a shame because it is a very cosy establishment.

At the risk of sounding like a grumpy old woman, my only complaint about this venue was the ear piercingly, awful music which completely obliterated the ability of our group to converse with anyone other than the person immediately adjacent to them. Even that was difficult. We were all looking forward to catching up with our respective life stories but were completely thwarted by the off key ghastly loud soloist supposedly entertaining us. For the record, if I want to listen to music I go to a concert. If I want to have a chat I meet at a pub, restaurant or stay home. It’s a dreadful shame if venues end up missing out on revenue because the entertaining at home option becomes the only place where conversation is possible.

We spent grand final day at the Brisbane and the atmosphere and service was amazing! They had TVs in the beer garden, drinks flowed and the food was great. Our group had the best day! Thank you to everyone who was working!

Hate the app to order, you have to do your own order, see no one and then the have the total gall to ask what size tip do you want to leave. Foods ok, but if you want a quite lunch forget it, speakers every bloody where, you can't here yourself think, never mind talk to someone. Waiters if your lucky to see one act like they're doing you a favour, I won't be back in a hurry

My favourite local! Turned up everyday when I first arrived in Australia for their weekly happenings. New menu went live last week, would recommend all to check it out as the Brisbane is where it's happening! Great food, great service, the best of times 👍

The Brisbane hotel is a solid local which appears to be under new management or a change in the kitchen. The menu has been recently refreshed meaning there is something on there for everyone. My favourite is the chicken wings. Drinks are reasonably priced and the atmosphere is great. Thursday nights is trivia night. Well worth a visit

  • 5/5 Dan W. 2 years ago on Google
It's actually a great place to eat & drink. Plenty of outdoor seating, well set out indoor seating areas. Great food & drinks and a quiz night on a Thursday night. Please add the wings you had a few weeks back to the menu with like a ranch or blue cheese sauce 😊

Food has really picked up here in the last month(new chef ive heard) Chicken parmigiana is the best in town, house made slow cooked red sauce really makes the difference, delicious. Place to go for a Sunday sesh, great summer time vibes in the beer garden.

Arrived in Perth for vacation and found this place a short walk away from our lodging. Friendly and open area to relax and enjoy food and drinks. Other patrons were also relaxed and approachable. Chloe at the bar was super friendly and made us feel welcome. Service was fair and the selection of drinks gave us plenty to explore. Will definitely be back.
