Very good option to have a couple of beers and nice-tasty food. Love the fact they will be on service full time and you can do reservations. Totally worth it !

The Shoe Bar and Cafe had great staff, great service, great food. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating, screens to watch sports. Food service was quick, even with a group. Everyone really enjoyed their food with no complaints. The trio of chips was massive. Prices were also reasonable for pub style. Nice views over the square. Definitely recommend.

Had the seafood basket and it was done so well, the squid was cooked perfectly and the fries were really crispy. The fish was great and the batter was light. They also accept Litt app credits, for those in the know 😜.

Fantastic food. 7 people and everyone loved their meals. Prompt service. Parmigiana was delicious... One of the best I've had. Burgers were great. Tacos great. Trio of chips fantastic. Highly rate

Definitely more of a sports bar than a Cafe, but still a great place for a pit stop. The food is good and they have a great drinks selection. It can get very loud inside when there's sports on the TV, but you can sit outside. In summer I would recommend it for the breeze.

Came down for our anniversary dinner and were stoked with our meals. Very reasonably priced and delicious - steak was cooked perfectly.

We had a great time at The Shoe after visiting DinoLand. Nice atmosphere in the afternoon, friendly staffs! The kids wanted milk shake, but even the coffee area was closed and only upstairs opened, one of the staff said she would make it for them, children happy... parents happy !!!

The food was below average. I had Classic Margarita, and it was quite nice. The bartender lady who served us was lovely. She was great. Good customer service. But I won't be back again. It was horribly hot inside. The air-conditioning was just blowing the hot air and not cool at all. We were all sweating and had to leave as soon as we finished our food to escape from the heat!! The temperature inside and outside were the same!! Ridiculous.

Myself and two friends had dinner here on a sunday night. We had walked through the city to see the Christmas lights. The staff we really nice and friendly. The meals were filling and the price is pretty decent. Id say overall it was a nice place and id recommend it.

Fabulous music. Ordered a Caesar Salad it was huge....I couldn't eat it all. Service was quick, food fresh and the cliental friendly and welcoming. Hats off to the owners you have created an awesome bar! One of my favourites 😍

Held a school reunion function at The Shoe recently. Paul, Jo and all of the team could not do enough to make sure it was a roaring success, which it was! All attendees loved the closeness to transport, the food, the service, the drinks. As Molly would say...do ya self a favour!

Will not come back. Poor customer service. I ordered a meal for myself and my daughter and mine came out first, which is fine. However 30 minutes later my daughters chicken nuggets came out. I was already finished my food and we were ready to leave and go somewhere else for her. Common sense would suggest that the kids meals come out either with the adults or earlier. Luckily for us. We never have to attend again!

Great location, setting, options and atmosphere. I have been to The Shoe both a private function and socially with friends. The food is 1st class at reasonable prices, friendly helpful staff and the place has a good vibe about it located close to public transport in the centre of the CBD. Thoroughly recommend

I recently visited this excellent Bar & Café again on the afternoon when Essondon & The Eagles were playing... The atmosphere in the afternoon was very laid back & relaxed, the staff were so welcoming & helpful with recommending a drink. The service was quick & efficient with a great range of Tap Beers... You couldn't criticise the food, delicious and always great presentation on the plate.. This would be a great venue with Private Dining Rooms upstairs for a birthday bash or even a hen's night, especially with the close proximity to Northbridge & The City Centre. The Stunning Architecture of this building along with the amazing views of The Perth City Centre straight up William Street... Perfectly located in Yagan Square, The Shoe Bar & Café is an choice if you are looking for an excellent night out... Very close to Public Transport..

Made a reservation for a balcony table for my 30th birthday only to have my guests calling me prior to my arrival saying there was no such booking. Manager was rude to my guests as if it was their fault there was no booking in place. Booking had been made over the phone with the manager. When I spoke to the manager once I arrived there was no apology given just repeatedly told me there was no booking then she stated she “might” be able to arrange something then continued running plates for the kitchen no consideration for the fact that it was an important event for someone. Eventually staff cleared a table in the middle of the bar area for us where half the area was being used by other guests and the music was far too loud and you could not hear what anyone was saying. NOT ideal for a birthday function with around 20 people attending. My guest ended up finding a table down stairs near the front door that could accommodate to our needs. I had high expectations of this bar from the reviews unfortunately management ruined something that was meant to be a special celebration with their poor organisational skills and lack of compassion and professionalism. I won’t be attending this venue in the future and won’t be advising others too either.

Ordered a salmon bagel. Took one bite only. Was not made fresh; tasted like it had been sitting in the fridge for hours. Not worth $8. At least the customer service was good. Won't be coming back here.

I wanted to order some food tonight. Some of their food menu are pretty good. They told me their kitchen is closed...kitchen closed at dinner time at 7:40pm??..and the shop is situated right near the centre of Perth city. Such a shame they lost a customer I had to eat somewhere else, that's all I'm saying.

This place continually fails to impress. It's not bad, it's just not great. The service is good, the drinks selection is good, the prices are good, the vista and seating options are good but the food continually disappoints and the music is so loud you have to shout to hesr each other. This was my third visit and each time I have ordered something that is not "traditional pub fare" amd each time I regret it. My haloumi tacos were so salty I only managed to eat 2/3. However my father and my brother (simple country boys) seemed to enjoy their steak sandwich and chicken schnitzel respectively.

The food was delicious, beers were cold, and everything was very reasonably priced. Unfortunately, the service was poor, and the posted hours of operation are apparently wrong. All 3 staff members we dealt with (including 2 young people and one older Manager) seemed to be inconvenienced by serving us. Staff were hurrying us out of the restaurant by stacking chairs on surrounding tables and starting their 'end of shift' routine. This was at least 2 hours before their posted closing time of 10:30pm. We were disappointed enough by the service that we won't likely return which is a shame because of the prime location, yummy food & affordable prices.

I must say we've had one of the best service in perth to date, accommodating us and 2 toddlers really well. Service staff actually went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. Food was delicious and generous. I'll highly recommend anyone to come here for dinner or a night out. Will definitely come back again.

I’ve been to the shoe many times before, I’ve loved this place for a casual drink, casual meal, and ideal for an afterwork wind down when you are in the city!

Busy atmosphere, great central location and a standard range of beers and rotating cocktail specials on offer. Staff is always friendly and happy to offer a recommendation if necessary.

The Shoe has a great atmosphere. Friendly staff, and a great place to meet up with friends. Fun and loud. Katie made sure my meal was completely gluten free and gave me lots of options. A big thank you to Katie. I'll be back.

We had a large group arrive unannounced. We were accomodated with seating inside. The bars staff were quick and professional. We had been once before and it was the reason we returned. We will be back again.

Ok. It's a busy bar. Food seems ok. This whole area could do with a bit of pizzaz!! It is really seedy.

I always drop here to buy a coffee on the way to bring kids to the rooftop playground or see a new client for my businesses in the city. The place, Yagan Square is one of the most famous icons in Perth city so even a visitor or a person who is not good at reading a map can come here without being lost their way. Good place to meet up with new people and good place to catch up with other families with a great coffee.

Nice little place that I took my grandkids to for lunch after a play at Yagan Square. Food was good and the staff very friendly.

Food was really tasty and had a generous portion size. Bar staff were friendly and beer selection was pretty fair. Some pretty rude/arrogant security guards who set a downer as you walk in, but apart from that, decent venue!

Fairly basic bar in a good location. The food was ok, drinks were OK but unfortunately the bar staff didn't know how to make some standard cocktails (not on their cocktail list, but generic none-the-less). Internally it's also fairly basic. Nothing wrong with it, I just wanted it to be better for such a good location.

I just recently held my 40th birthday at this fabulous location. Jo & Paul were ever so accommodating, myself and guests had a wonderful afternoon celebrating. I wanted a venue that had pub grub and a central area for those coming from everywhere to meet. Service was great, music was great, I had the best celebration, if you’re looking for a venue check out the Shoe Bar. The Shoe ticked all the boxes for me!

I had a great experience with customer service at the Shoe Bar. I made a mistake in my order ordering a VO (vegetarian option) instead of GFO (gluten free option). Luckily I realised before they order had been processed. The staff changed my order without fuss, drama or cost. There are lots of GFO an VO and my meal was delicious and served promptly despite it being a busy pre Christmas period. Thanks.

Last Friday 10th November, me and my friend ordered Fish and Chips and the fish was not fresh, it had a strong smell but I realized after I try it. This was enough to give me food poisoning. I’ve been with strong stomachache for two days. I need to go to the hospital. A call to management to properly check what you serve.

Have frequented The Shoe since it opened but after such an amazing experience had to write this review. Took the family for dinner Sat night, ordered 4 mains & drinks, everything arrived in 12 mins, perfectly presented, tasted fantastic, outstanding value for money & excellent staff interaction.
