The moon is an institution, Ive been coming here since I was in Uni, and it has remained so consistent! They have an interesting menu filled with multiple different types of dishes from various cuisines, and even up until today I haven’t tried everything. Today we just ordered some chips and dessert, which was simple and good - you can always count on the Moon to deliver good chips! The place is big but if you go later at night it can get quite full! The fact that it’s open late is a big bonus. The waitstaff are always friendly and approachable, and super easy going (although the cook always looks stressed but i’m sure is super nice). If you’re in Perth city late at night then you simply must give it a visit! Or if you’re looking for some French fries late at night when your only other alternative is maccas then do the Moon instead.

Portion sizes are generous and food overall is quite good. The service we had was nice and quick and straight to the point with empty bowls, plates and glasses being cleared very quickly. There is also a selection of cocktails I’ve never heard of or seen before but we thoroughly enjoyed them. I’m looking forward to coming back.

Love this place 💗 The Moon is the only place I’ve found that makes these bacon and cheese loaded fries the way I like it. It’s definitely loaded with all that bacon and cheese and it comes with a heap of sour cream. My partner ordered the buttermilk fried chicken burger and it was good! The chicken was nice and crispy - it’s a pretty big burger! We also ordered milkshakes which are yum! and definitely worth it. The other reasons why I love coming here is they have booth seating and the vibe/decor is so cute.

Great variety of vegan options! But the service needs some improvement. Staff was indifferent. Otherwise the food was yum. Definitely recommend as vegan place. Buffalo cauliflower and garden salad pizza (vegan)

We just stopped by for dessert, so I wouldn't normally base a whole review off of a quick visit without trying more of the offerings, but just loved the vibes and the dessert so I'm spreading the love. The apple crumble was very good and so was the shake. I'm very picky when it comes to milkshakes in Australia (I'm from the US) and I usually come away disappointed when it comes to Aussie shakes, but this was very good AND hada good consistency. Can't wait to come back and try some of the food (looked tasty anyway).

5 Stars here is why. This place oozes character, step inside and its a wonderful experience to be able to step back and get a feel of thatt deco / nouveau retro years. With Service and ambience to match cubicles, I personally loved the period music, lighting , management and staff on point and the food was overall good in terms of quality and price. You can tell alot about a place by tge Espresso served and The Moon was on point their too. Beautiful work and thank you. 5 Stars amico !! Seriousky though thebar staff know their craft, I saw some of the best cocktails, mocktails and ice cream frappe mash ups- in years. On another note, this place draws a constant stream of patrons- i think I saw about everyone including Harry Butler, Amy WineHouse and Grizzly Adams tonight - compliments to management and staff. This is officially a Perth establishment and should be appropriately honoured by the City of Perth for its historic value and significance.

The Moon has been a long time favourite late night place to go, I think it's amazing their kitchen is open until 11pm every night when most places shut at 9pm! the vibes are always so chill with low lighting and not too loud music, perfect for intimate and fun conversations with friends. this place introduced alcoshakes to me for the first time and shook my world, the teddy bear shake with frangelico is to die for!! service is always friendly too. been here for parmis and pasta in the past and it's always been fantastic!

Service is prompt, menu is affordable. Food is comfort at most. The place is a little run down and could do with a little make over. Staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, they deserve 5 stars. Unfortunately the flavours for the dishes are lacking and plain. Great if you're on a budget.

Very cool cafe/restuarant. Great atmosphere, heaps of seating (would recommend booking for busy times), tasty 'comfort' styled food, and great service. They have such a wide range of options, something for everyone (vegan and vegetarian options). Would recommend if in the area.

Friendly staff. Moon Nugs and Miso Carrots were excellent. Biscoff alco-shake was tasty but the flavor of the rum was completely masked.

My partner and I’s all time favourite place to go. We’ve been so many times now and have always had the best experience. We had our engagement party here as well and the staff were so perfectly accommodating and friendly for our larger group. The food, the vibes and the friendly faces are all selling factors. We’ll always pick to go here first for any special occasion or date night.

Went and had dinner there, the burgers were really nice and delicious, I had the Moon deluxe (blue plate) and my friend had the colonel (white plate) and really nice stuff. The only reason I wouldn’t give it five stars is because the music playing in the background was pretty loud.

I can't find a single fault with anything at The Moon :) Fantastic vegan bolognaise and amazing espresso milkshake (my go-to). The rest of our group, the majority of whom had never been to The Moon before, were all very pleased with the whole experience. A well thought out menu that catered for everyone. Thanks for having us. We will be back!

I have frequented this place for years now. The atmosphere is fantastic for late night catchup that is low key. Drinks are unique and the selection is great. The food was good every time I have visited.

Nice place for a beer or a coffee during the day. Which is what we did. Quite a nice selection of craft beers on tap and seasonal beers. The coffees were also flavourful. The art Deco dacoré mixed with eclectic pieces make for good topics of conversation...

I thought here would be quite loud and haven't visited once until last weekend. Making my first visit by chance, I found it so cozy and comfy spending time inside of the place, which is another area I didn't know they have. This place usually is amazing, great vibe, delicious food but during our little visit this week everything seemed to went wrong. The beer was warm( not their fault it was really hot that day) but then they took wrong order and at last when bbq pizza was served it was not cooked properly. Did not wanted to create a scene for everything we just had food and left. Make sure you guys double check your orders when venue is busy.

Great place, good atmosphere. Went with a group of friends and ordered using our phones so no need to worry about splitting the bill. Some of the food was a bit salty in the end but great nonetheless.

Came here to celebrate a career achievement with family and was not disappointed, the food was absolutely amazing, better than most “high class restaurants” the menu range was incredible! And the alcoholic milk shakes are to die for! I drank way to many! The cocktails were also very nice! The vibe of moon was lovely. Though i was being rained on through a leak in the roof, we had a good time. Our ability to order via qr code was fantastic and very convenient. However, the food seemed pricey considering how mediocre it tasted. All and all it is a nice place, and if in the area I would consider dining in again.

Super lovely service and had a great time playing on the arcade machine!! Had a lovely chicken parmi and spider. Mum had a veg nachoes. Great portion sizes!! Wasn't able to finish. Was super tasty as well

The buffalo wings (vegan option) was tastey and decent value. The Umami pillows were delicious! But unfortunately both pasta dishes were a let down for the portion size... left feeling quite hungry still. The spag bol was average... easy enough to make probably even better at home. Overall... not bad... but probably won't be back again 👍🏻

This place is full of charm! The food was delicious, the service was good, they had a few nonalcoholic options which was great as those are like hens teeth at the moment. The shakes were so yummy I wish I had space for more. Will definitely be back!

Food was great both times I’ve been. The service wasn’t too good though, had any family visit and ask our waiter when we may expect to see the food to arrive. They responded with essentially “it’ll get here when it’s ready.” Second time we went the bar seating was empty, my partner and I asked for a bar seat as we just wanted to have a couple drinks. Server said the bar was fully booked. We ended up being there for over an hour a nobody else sat at the bar except for friends/family of the server.

Delicious food along with amazing drinks -the bartender accidentally made wrong drinks and offered us those complimentary that such a lovely gesture although I loved the wrong one more than original- get ur passion fruit roll up with the lemon merginue ♥️ m pretty sure the lovely staff will customise it for you😍

Had the Colonel burger, partner had nachoes. Both were ok chips were over cooked. Have to pay extra to get chips with your burger which was a first for me most other places the burgers come with chips.

Had a nice vegan burger, the serve was super generous. A bit noisy and dark though, but that's the atmosphere!

Food is always good. Been multiple times but late night on Sunday the 24th of Jan the service was really terrible. I took first timers there and I had to strongly convince them to stay because of how they were treated on arrival. We didn't show signs of intoxication, nothing. Just someone having a bad night? Lol

Ordered a margarita pizza and was the worst pizza we had eaten in such a long time. We will however give this place another visit so hopefully they won’t disappoint.

This is a regular dinner spot for my friends and I because it's just so good. The food is always delicious and the menu has plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. There is a massive variety of drinks, it's always a challenge trying to pick what to have. Both food and drink menus have some unique options that I rarely come across anywhere else in Perth. I already can't wait for my next visit!

Nice American style diner with big meals and interesting drink options. In case you are wondering the flavoured cokes are made with syrups, so be careful if you are watching your sugar intake. The service was very good.

Went in last night (Sunday) around 9:30pm It was busy but not heaving! We were shown a seat at the bar right near the door. It was my first time there and we were informed after waiting 10 or so minutes to order, that ordering was at end of the counter. Ordered chips (sadly they were completely out of chips) beers & paid, was told beers would be brought out. After 10 minutes of watching the beer sit in the bench I asked for a refund. That was not dealt with well either. I get it was busy and I get that from time to time things get behind. Maybe if some compassion or even apology was made that would have been better. I hope this helps improvement for the future.

My favourite bar in Perth. I love the retro style. I love the gentle, non-yuppie ambiance. I love the staff (always working hard, yet always kind). I love the generous portions of tasty foods. I love the cocktails (classics and innovations). I'm a happy chappie.

I've always had an affinity for the happy chill vibes at the moon. So many great memories over late night feeds with friends. Every. Single. Time. I get a cherry milkshake with a shot of Baileys in it! Trust me, it's amazing! Just don't get the appetizer squid... very average and makes me a sad boy Get down there and just enjoy the time pass by :)
