My friends and I came for new year eve. On the paper when we book (7 of us) we were exiting to come for the experience of Alice gin wonderland. The fact we had to wait 20min to get the first drink (complimentary drink) should had been ok, but when we ordered the next round we had to wait 30min and the waitress didn't get all our drink, 2 of my friends had to wait and we were going to the bar asking for those drink. Matter of fact when we finaly get all dring we ordered more (to avoid to wait). Meanwhile for the food, we had to wait so long with a pregnant woman in our table and we told then and guess what? That was not them fault they were too busy. We had to wait so long between the entrance and main. At the same time we never see a smile on waiters (expect the one with curly hair and with the ♡ in her black tee-shirt) we all got the impression to be annoying to them, especially when we were walkin to the bar and asknfor drink and food As a quick conclusion paying $120 each for this night what a joke.

I and a group of friends went to The Flour Factory for their NYE event Alice Gin Wonderland. The service, food, timing, layout, drinks were all slow, lack luster and thoughroughly disappointing. The complimentary drink was both cheap and underwhelming, served in mismatched glasswear and not particularly tasty. The entrees were both poorly prepared late and cold. We had to enquire about the time to service only to be told that service was slow due to high capacity ordering. For a pre set menu, that could have been mostly prepared before hand, this is a polite preset response by staff to say that they are running late because they are. Disappointing. When food was served we had to share our mains. Which was not explained anywhere within the event menu. Prior Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance. Performance and presentation on new years eve was nothing short of tacky and piss poor with an even worse delivery. $122 per ticket is laughable.

Fantastic place for after work drinks and THE place if you're a Gin connoisseur. Not sure which Gin, then spin the wheel and let see what Fin your fate holds.

The Flour Factory has a great atmosphere. The drinks are a little pricey but it worth it for a occasional outing. The venue it self looks great and the deco is lovely. This is a great place for a party and the get together. The food is equally lovely and taste great. I have been here a few time and each time has been an experience. On a Friday they have a DJ and again it is packed with people after work.

Great venue..viby and fun for a smaller wedding party upstairs in the private room. The staff were amazing, excellent service. The food was great and the gin wheel was awesome. The only downside was the noise downstairs when the speeches were being made.

We enjoyed an intimate little after work shin-dig up in The Sherry Rooftop Bar, above the main Flour Factory restaurant/bar area and we were very pleased with the outcome. The staff were kind and accommodating, and gave us great details about each dish served. The food and drinks were superb. Highly recommend The Sherry for small functions and get-togethers.

We went there to celebrate birthday and chose the gin gala dinner. Everything was perfect and loved that we had one craft gin per dish. The variety and combination was awesome. The lamb was the best I've had!. Really worth the $85pp. You get 4 different craft gins and to accompany each of rhe 4 dishes.

just no… this venue is overpriced and will leave you disappointed. Urban List did me so dirty with this recommendation. went in with some friends on a Sat night, we ordered the shared menu for $72pp. For our first course we had bread and two plates of couscous as well as some tarts. I’m not sure why we were served the same dish twice for the price point the shared menu… then for mains we were served some pork belly and two steaks?? why….?? Feels like such a waste of money to pay for two of the same dishes- twice, when we could of ordered a variety of things… disappointing is an understatement. The food was also bland, no flavour and our servers seemed to be clueless as to what they were actually serving us. Its a shame, this is such a cool venue with so much potential - but i really would not be spending your money here as there are much better places around.

We had a voucher to use on a Wednesday night. There were not many people at the venue however the waitress was super accommodating and friendly. The food was delicious! Everything that they served was eaten except the plate of potatoes (carb overload) Would recommend

Just had a great night out for dinner. We were served by Gabriel who was incredible and he went above and beyond to make sure every part of our evening was great. The food was to die for, especially the steak. Cocktails were nice and strong. Good vibe on a Friday night. Definitely worth a visit.

We went to a gin masterclass hosted by Issac. Issac was knowledgeable and very friendly, for the cost per ticket its definitely worth checking it out, you get a welcome drink and three tasters plus food at the end.

Awful food. First dish was frozen in the middle and the second wasn’t any better and had to return that one. Meals took way too long to come and all came out luke warm or Cold. Overall had to return 3 dishes as they were inedible. All other dishes tasted like they had come out of a microwave which is not what you expect for 70$ per head. Would not recommend....

Food and drinks were incredible as always, but the highlight of the night was the service by Roisin. Will definitely be coming back each week to have the pleasure of being served by her. Incredible venue with even better staff.

Had some great gin related shenanigans on a Wednesday night. The gracious Bonnie was kind enough to be serving us that night and had excellent knowledge of gins and served up some fantastic combos. My thanks goes to Bonnie for making the night grand. Absolutely love this place. Will become my new regular. Staff are great and very friendly, the range of gins is huge and the atmosphere is excellent. See you all next Wednesday!

This place whist has a great ambience, is NOT worth going for the food. The service whilst friendly were very hasty at taking our cups away, even when we didn't finish them yet! At the very least, please ask if we've finished our drinks! Also, the food was very overpriced and had TINY portions. Look I get the economy is bad but it's not THAT bad. At least give us portions that will satisfy our hunger. We ended up going for ramen down the road.

We were a group of co-workers willing to have a good time on our Christmas Dinner! We went for the set menu and I can tell that I don’t regret it! Dishes were seasonal and really yummy! The beef dish was to “die for” and dessert wrapped up the night exactly the way it should! Strongly recommend this place!

The most expensive Aperol Spritz I have ever had in Australia, They put way less than other places and then proceed to charge $22 PER DRINK! Unbelievable. Though the venue is great.. just sort the prices out because there’s more competition.

An enjoyable Atmosphere for dining, If you should plan on a group catch up for a delicious cocktails, the Flour Factory would be right up that ally! However, we opted for dinner date night and found that it was a bit too ‘Noisy’ for our preference and did not stay long, still an enjoyable experience though. It was most pleasing that The Lychee Gin cocktail we had and our meals (gnocchi, potatoes with blood orange & the asparagus) were delicious, each dish was cooked to perfection.

Prebooked and order the chef’s selection chartreuse platters for 10 people. The food was AMAZING and beyond exceeded our expectations. The staff were very attentive to us. The drinks were delicious. We had a fabulous evening. Thank you so much

We've gone here a few times in the past for food and drinks and overall I think the food has gone downhill compared to when we've visited in the past. For example the lamb ribs, used to be 6 generously sized sticky sherry glazed ribs which was melt in your mouth delicious. Now they're 5 mini ribs with a very sour aftertaste, even though the description and price on the menu is the same as before. The cocktails however are still very tasty and is the only redeeming feature, otherwise I would've given a 1 star review.

Great drinks. Espresso Martini was excellent, as was the gin selection. The Roku Gin cocktail was awesome. Bread and dip(s) was a bit disappointing. Great vibe though, with lots of people!

Hard to rate this particular visit as the first time we visited it was so busy we walked straight through. This time on a covid stricken night in Perth where everywhere was quiet, we had a Gin Fizz and a Red Wine, both nice. Overall, I have rated it be fair but will make sure we are with a party next time.

The most perfect wedding venue! My partner and I got married here on 16.04.2022, we could not have asked for a better venue. Kahla, the coordinator, was amazing and takes the stress out of organising the food and drinks and other big ticket items for set up. The food was delicious and all our guests loved what was on offer. The upstairs area was perfect for the ceremony and reception, we had a cocktail style set up and were able to set it up exactly how we wanted. The Flour Factory were very accommodating and I could not have asked for a more perfect day. I would recommend to anyone looking for an inner city venue for their wedding with beautiful high wooden beam ceilings and a blend of outdoor in The Sherry (a courtyard style area) and the open area we used for the ceremony which then turned into a dance floor. Thanks for having us and we can't wait to be back and celebrate many more occasions here.

Went for a couple of drinks to this wonderful bar. By chance the most amazing bar person ( Rhiannon ) was working. She is an amazing person and so knowledgeable about her cocktails and in particular her gins. A great atmosphere and decor superior to many bars in Melbourne. Will definitely be back to this one. What a keeper

Food was delicious but the service was lacking where staff could be a lot friendlier and more attentive. We sat in the restaurant part and it was very warm and when we asked if the air con could be put on we were told it was on but with the windows open at the front this is just how it is. Not sure how that will go with more 40 degree days in summer!

I live around the corner from this place and have been a handful of time for dinner and drink and have felt compelled to leave a review because of how unexpectedly good it always is.My partner is a coeliac and they cater impressively for his dietary requirements! The staff are always extremely friendly and helpful (not common in Perth!) and the food tasty. The live music on certain nights is a nice touch too. I couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Gin tree okay... drinks could have a little more gin a lot less ice Food not to bad... should have more of a selection Dessert terrible.... cheescake tasted like a block of cheese on a plate... pavlova smelt like a dirty fridge! Setup was great lovely deco and nice staff.

It has a great atmosphere. The decor was rustic but nice. The roof had a sea of colours and butterflies. There is heaps of parking options around. Easy to use a pd carpark, but not cheap. Small decor negative - No pictures of how it "use to be". That would be really interesting.

Food was sensational with taste, quality and presentation. Shame the chefs don't get presented justly by the wait staff! :( After we finished our meals we waited and waited for someone to clear our table and so we could order dessert. Mind you, this was a Thursday night and the place was not busy what so ever! We had waited so long after we finished our meals that the oils on the plates became jelly :\ We ended up just leaving and paying without tasting any of the dessert :( such a shame! I think because our original wait person had finishes their shift and perhaps forgot to hand our table over to someone else.

The $60/p chefs choice for 4 is recommended here. Great value & delicious. Starters - stracciatella mozzarella cheese with nectarine, pickled onion & fresh basil, ham croquettes, gin swordfish ceviche 2 generous serves of meaty lamb shanks, 2 generous serves of very moreish maple crispy baked potatos. 2 serves heirloom baked carrots. If I can give you a tip....avoid filling up on th sour dough toast with goats cheese & caramelised onion or cultured butter, as the serves are also generous, or you'll find it a challenge to eat the rest. The 'gin tree' for 4 (pictured) holds 9 glasses of 3 different mixed ang garnished gin cocktails. Looks great tasted good too.

Great experience, location and drinks on offer. I went with my friends on the 25th of November for some drinks and nibbles. The cocktail list looks incredible and the best thing are the Gin trees. I will definetly go back to try more from the beverage list. The only disappointment is the very limited food menu. I would not be satisfied if I had been there for a sit down dinner.

We recently visited Arara, a bar/restaurant that promises an eclectic and energetic ethos with vibrant colours, textures, bold food, and rhythmic music inspired by the Americas. Unfortunately, my experience did not align with the description provided on their website. My companions and I opted to dine in the bar area and ordered a variety of dishes, hoping to savor the flavors and excitement promised by Arara. However, we were left disappointed and unsatisfied. The food tasted as if it had been frozen and reheated, lacking any bold or exciting flavors. It was a rather lackluster affair, and some dishes were downright unappealing. One dish, in particular, consisted of a soft, round patty served with a dip. This dip turned out to be nothing more than a tablespoon of mashed avocado and a tablespoon of red salsa, leaving us underwhelmed and craving for more interesting and inventive options. In addition to the underwhelming food, the venue itself lacked warmth and ambiance. It felt cold and sterile, reminiscent of a cafeteria rather than an inviting bar/restaurant. I would suggest that the management consider adding greenery, artwork, or other forms of decor to inject some warmth and personality into the space. This simple addition could go a long way in creating a more inviting and comfortable atmosphere. Furthermore, the choice of music did not contribute to the desired energetic and vibrant atmosphere. Instead, we were subjected to soft, slow jazz like music playing in the background, more suitable for a romantic evening rather than a Saturday night out. The lack of an energetic and lively music selection only dampened the overall experience. Despite these criticisms, it is worth noting that Arara has great potential. The concept and description on their website offer a tantalizing glimpse of what could be. With some thoughtful adjustments and improvements, such as enhancing the menu with more flavorful and inventive options, adding warmth through decor, and selecting appropriate music to create a lively atmosphere, Arara could truly become the vibrant and exciting establishment it aspires to be. In conclusion, I offer these suggestions as constructive criticism to help Arara elevate its dining experience.
