I don't normally do reviews, but feel compelled to share that the Brass Monkey is a pretty usual pub for Perth, but the warm service by Jasmine made all the difference to making our drinks last night such a lovely experience. She just handles everything and everyone with warmth is soo polite (which is very rare these days in younger people). Thanks Jasmine!

Really interesting building with so many different places to hang and chill. I can't tell you how many different bars there are. We went into balcony and sat and enjoyed watching people on street. The gin and tonics were a good price but lacked gin.

Popped in whilst waiting for our dinner reservation nearby. pub vibes it was Saturday and was very busy . Toilets could do with a bit of TLC , kid friendly, staff were pleasant and cheerful. They had good Beer on tap incl Stella 🍻.

Great pub in Northbridge, excellent wide variety of rooms, areas & bars, interesting decor, some fireplaces lit in cooler weather which is great. Big range of sports TVs yet some strangely showing duplicate content when could be showing something else useful. Filthy cigarette smoking is almost encouraged offering 2 separate smoking areas- disgusting in this day & age. Other than that, well worth calling in!

Very historic hotel, busy, happening place, great vibes and music. Food tasted lovely, presented well on the plate, good customer service heaps of open areas to eat and drink. Great roof top bar 😊😊😊

Fun location. Sitting on the balcony watching waves of people enjoy an evening in the beautiful city of Perth is truly a pleasure! Remove smoking from the upper balconies and a fifth star is justified! Cheers!

In the post-covid world we all know that there is a huge shortage of hospitality staff. Lack of experience and an acute need for staff training AT ALL LEVELS was sadly very apparent, a very disappointing lunchtime that is best forgotten.

Preferred when the balcony seating was a bit more comfortable, but I guess they're trying to cater to a larger crowd. Still, bring back the leather couches, I say! Good selection, good service. Management is alot better than it used to be, and security is more discreet, yet far more effective.

Booked a table for 16 2 weeks ago, phoned today advised only 10, very helpful staff advised courtyard, nice area will be organised. On arrival nobody knew anything. Walked around bars/seating areas twice looking for a table but nothing. Finally patched together 3 tables but no menus, no cutlery/condiment boxes nothing. First item some tried to order was ribs off the menu. We walked out fed up with service...

OK here but not fabulous. Needs a bit of a reno as looking pretty tired and old now. Don't like the roof top bar area and lots people smoking up there. I actually thought it was law to not allow smoking in venues now but I maybe wrong. Anyway, not pleasant at all due to excess of smokers at rooftop.

Most definitely one of my many circle's/groups favourite bars in Perth. Having 4 dance floors, easy to move to the style of music you like best. Also nice to have the many outdoor spaces. Often enjoyed the balcony seating for noon snacks and drinks and the cozy pub lounges for us to chill in our small groups later noon. Truly an all in one venue

Great venue - really big selection of drinks and a great menu. During happy hour, arancini balls are $1! Great atmosphere, really good service.

Brilliant place to have a meal and drinks in Perth. Beautiful food and lovely people. At times you might feel it is really crowded but that’s because people love this place. Personally, my first time experience was amazing. Recommend to all.

So I came to this bar just to have a good experience with my mates, but happened to leave with one of the best kisses in my life. She easily made top 5 and was comparable to ice cream on a hot day. Food and drinks were also good.

Description on the menu is not accurate of food. It was very poor quality and full of ingredients not listed. Very loud music and no atmosphere

Monday 5pm ish I got terrific, personalised service at the bar from Sarah. Fabulous Food, charred broccoli w shallots was the 6 star entree and coup d’é grace, for the kitchen who also promptly cooked me a beautiful cooked porterhouse and delightful fresh fries and THE VERY BEST SLAW EVER

Been coming here regularly for over 10 years now and I love it. The food is always good and the kitchen is open late which is handy. Always a good vibe!

Everything was great. Food, drinks, and ambiance, only negative, was in customer service of a youngster. He was a bit rude and wasn't living to BM's reputation. other than that, I enjoyed every minute of it. 👍👍

Really much more down to earth. Sit out on the balcony upstairs and watch the world go by. It's an older much more established place in Northbridge where you can just kick back and talk some garbage with mates while you have a drink. I enjoyed it.

Good food with large portions (fish and chips was especially big). Pretty quick service, even during happy hour. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony and people watching while we enjoyed some drinks. Appreciated that I could order using my phone with an international number (many other restaurants don't allow this).

We utilised a function room here & the staff were great, they accommodated our needs, were happy to chat when needed, let us decorate the space, held the cake etc. The platters were amazing & were demolished quickly. Function rooms are available for hire at no cost! All you need to do is purchase one platter per 10 expected guests. No cakeage fee!

We really loved this place except for the nachos. Possibly the worst I’ve every eaten, no sour cream to start with, a dribble of cheese sauce and a advocado on top. Never again. The chicken wings were great

The best balcony view in Northbridge! Really don't have anything disgusting to say about this beautiful, inviting, anti sexist venue. Had an awesome Fringe banners up during Fringe World. Got some stunning photos taken there. Awesome selection of craft beers, and the Brass Burger is to die for! The perfect corner bar.

Typical pub vibes. Nice to hang out on the balcony. The food here is decent but pub food will be pub food. Good selection of beers for any preference. Also worth noting there's a DJ there on the weekend nights if you fancy a dance.

Went there yesterday. Food very average. Picked 3 shared platters. One (think it was called the deli plate) was terrible. Basically salami out of a Hans packet, portadello probably the same and then thickly sliced cheese. Nothing else. For $24, certainly not good value. We provided feedback and asked for something to eat it with (bread or something) and manager came out with water crackers (and a bad attitude). Female wait staff was fantastic though. Very friendly and efficient.

Good place to spend you leisure time with your loved ones. Drinks and food both are reasonably priced. Enjoyed it!

Had an amazing night (Saturday) at the brass monkey celebrating the boss's birthday party. The manager was extremely helpful in setting up a table for us on the balcony during peak hour and all up was a fantastic night thanks to the brass team. Cheers.

An old venue not changed over many years perhaps that's an attraction! For me it could do with a bit of tender loving care

Booked a table for 6 to watch boxing at the Brass Monkey, Patriots bar. Arrived to no booking, no boxing being shown. Bar staff could not care less. The worst service and experience. Do yourself a favour, go somewhere else.

Real popular night spot with more of a pub vibe. We were there early (about 10) and could still find a quiet spot on the balcony- where we saw someone in clear view getting arrested across the road. Northbridge. Good times 🙄.. Needless to say this was our last stop. Good place for a drink to start your night. I felt like the oldest person there and Im in my 30s!

Great pub lunch, serving we're good sizes and prices fair. The establishment was beautiful if you like the old pub feel, with so many places to sit and relax inside and it took us a while to decide,the music was good but a bit loud to have a good conversation, the staff were friendly,it was clean and tidy, has accessible toilets and is wheelchair friendly. Parking was a little hard so know where you want to park if driving before you go.

I love the lady who served us I forgot to ask her name but thank you for the espresso martini and your service.

Tried a couple of things off the new menu and wasn't disappointed! Everything was so yummy. Amd love the outside areas. Will be back.

Great service very quick with the food.. There was one chef on and we had 14 orders plus all the other people there and the food was out within 30 mins. Awesome young guy, very helpful behind the bar. Loved the atmosphere. Great for kids during the day. Arcade games and beer garden . I was impressed.

Ordered for family of 5 using the QR code on table. Super fast service, natural light, good heaters, great atmosphere and food was beautifully cooked and fresh. Cheese burger, Chicken Schnitzel, Porterhouse Steak, New York pizza, Slow cooked Ribs.

A grand old pub in Northbridge. Despite the age of the building, (built in 1896) Brass Monkey Hotel has kept up with modern comforts and entertainment. They have a massive screen which is great for watching sports. The food is typical pub menu but the bar is fully stocked and they make some excellent cocktails. It's a great place to start and meet up with friends before venturing further in Northbridge.

Unfortunately Burnt Garlic Bread on our visit this evening, venue wasn't busy either. We couldn't taste any garlic butter.

Very disappointing food and a excessively nauseating venue. The cheeseburger I got was dry, overcooked and was just a cold bun, patty and plastic cheese. Also this pub doesn't even have chips on their menu! Just stiff, deep fried potato glug - gross!

Brass Monkey Northbridge. Always visit here on our trips to Perth City. Cold Beers & Ciders go down well!! after shopping 😊 Really enjoyed Cheese Burger & Chips, beef patty, home made & really tasty, tomato & onion relish...would love that recipe, bun light & fresh. Lip smackingly good on what was a cold & wet day in the city. Good choice of meals on menu...did see Beef Guinness Pie listed & will give that "stick to ya ribs" dish a try next time around. Came in for some lunch today. Will definitely be coming back. Was served by Carter who did an amazing job and had the beef baguette. Great place for a nice drink and sit down lunch
