Went
on
a
busy
Sunday
afternoon
so
is
not
surprising
they'd
disappointingly
run
out
of
Roast
Pork
(crackling)
and
ice
cream
that
was
advertised,
came
with
dessert.
The
stuffing
was
different
as
it
was
mixed
with
minced
meat
and
tasted
more
like
sausage
with
herbs
and
spices.
None-the-less
the
stuffing
was
nice
and
I
would've
liked
more.
The
roast
lamb
was
nice
and
assorted
veges
were
cooked
well
with
broccoli
half
cooked
and
therefore
crunchy,
which
is
just
how
I
like
them.
The
gravy
could've
been
a
bit
more
generous
and
had
a
bit
more
flavour
but
was
good
texture.
The
Bannoffee
I
had
was
different
as
the
colour
of
the
caramel
resembled
chocolate
and
I'd
therefore
braced
myself
for
disappointment
but
was
pleasantly
surprised
it
didn't
taste
like
chocolate.
My
companions
had
the
Ultimate
roast
(four
meats)
but
cos
of
no
pork,
doubled
up
on
lamb.
Their
Yorkshire
Pud
(Irish?)
was
apparently
yum
and
desserts
Rhubarb
&
Apple
Crumble
was
nothing
to
write
home
to
mum
about.
The
Bread
&
Butter
pudding
one
of
my
companions
had
was
a
bit
runny
and
tasted
more
like
egg
custard.
The
lack
of
ice-cream
was
made
up
by
an
extra
dollop
of
whipped
cream
so
with
the
desserts
they
had
would've
been
better
had
the
cream
been
from
the
bottle
and
not
whipped.
Overall
it
was
a
nice
meal,
nice
atmosphere
that
is
family
friendly
and
reasonable
price.
I
only
gave
3
stars
for
food
cos
of
the
no
pork
and
no
ice-cream.
