Been here before and always had a pleasant enough experience Yesterday approx 3pm there was an arranged catch up for approx 10-12 people for lunch and drinks About an hour into our afternoon we were informed that one of our group was being ejected The reason = wearing a cap Puzzled by this nonsense as there were actually 2 at our table with caps on multiple people in the venue also wearing caps we can easily conclude that this was based solely on discrimination!! Absolutely disgusting to be singled out and targeted for no reason On principle we cancelled pending food orders and the WHOLE group left We will never return and never give positive feedback regarding this awful establishment We all went across the road to the Varity Bar and had a fantastic day and night and stayed well into the night So not only did Henry Summers staff cost the venue a decent end of the night monetary total but also any future business from anyone involved in this disgraceful experience

Don’t bother coming here. Manager Matt is rude & breaches laws. Will be reporting further as they’ve withheld a service we paid for, with no refund, and with no care for the laws they have breached. Kicked a whole hen’s party out for quite literally nothing. Most of us were dancing on the dance floor, came back and were told by security we had to go because a member of our group was trying to resolve the bar tab issues with Matt (and that group member was sober & respectful, no reason to get kicked out). The issue was, we paid for a bar tab and they gave us 1 token each for a drink. We paid for more than 1 token each, but they did not want to look into it further and decided to just make us leave. Once we were outside, we spoke to two other groups who also got kicked out, and they also had no reason to be kicked out. This was still quite early in the night too. They were sober & respectful also. We also wore white so they decided to kick anyone wearing white out of here, sorry to anyone who got kicked out last night because they decided you were with us! It appears the team here don’t really care for service and will kick out anyone if there’s a “problem” and they don’t want to fix it (even if Henry Summer are the reason for the problem). Train your managers (Matt in particular) better on service and the law please :) Surely the solution to every “problem” isn’t to get the customer to leave?

Was nice food and drinks. But experienced sexism from the security guard as he gave line jump passes to only females and refused to allow men to jump the line. But allowed groups of females to do so cutting off the men as they tried to enter with them. I didn’t only experience this myself but saw him do it to multiple other groups. This was Saturday night 9/7 at the line to enter the club part of the bar.

It is so loud here to the point where you need to yell to have a conversation. If you're after a relaxing dinner this is not the place. They have a page of cocktails of their own creation and don't do any classics, which is kind of annoying. The food is pretty good though.

Nice lively atmosphere, great place to get a few drinks. Limited food selection as expected for a place know for well made alcohol. Friendly and outgoing staffs. Well decorated with many greeneries and vibrant colours. Overall well designed bar with many instaworthy spots both inside and out. Great choice of music that fits the vibes of the night life in Perth. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a place to drink.

Great ambience. The greenery adds to the experience. One waitress was friendly and polite. The food... I think a little overpriced. We ordered the seafood platter for 2 - 3 to share for $95 - I don't think it was enough to feed one. I did like the dipping sauces that came with it. My friend ordered the black chicken salad and it was also a very a small serve for $18. The cheese board were about $34 - the one we got, my husband thought it could have been easily replicated with produce from the Coles deli. With some improvement to the menu, it would be a GREAT place for a nice meal and a catch up.

This place is too large & poorly managed. Don’t go for dinner here, it’s more of a drink/club vibe. When we asked where is the dinner seating area we got told oh over there somewhere with no guidance or care from what looked like a manager. We got half made cocktails which should have made a light go off in the bartenders mind that he aught to make more to fill the glass but no. Didn’t even stay to eat before we left to go somewhere with decent service. The decor was the only thing going for this place.

If you want a great night and have fun with your friends you can look no further and be kicked out for no possible reason right here!! Had a great night ended short when a friend put a hat on my head while dancing and security grabbed my arm and took me to the exit even without telling me what I had done wrong… even to be told at the moment I would of complied but apparently not. Security had a really bad temper about it and I wanted to have a chat with the venue manager which I did and didn’t seem like nobody cared. Won’t be coming back. Absolutely disgusting. Fix your act!

The venue itself is nice, with lots of outdoor and indoor seating. You can generally find a table no problem. The drinks aren't great - cocktails are all very sweet and you can't taste any alcohol. The food was ok, I wouldn't rush back to order it. I think if you are going in a large group for drinks it is a good option. You can book out large areas for gatherings/parties but you need to pay a deposit.

If I could write an essay about how much I love the staff, food, drinks, and venue for this place I would. Cannot recommed Henry's enough. Thank you for always being welcoming and beautiful :)

Love the greenery around the venue and comfortable furniture. The jugs were decent value at ~10$pp, recommend the lola spritz. Music was too loud even at the far end of the venue, may have just been a friday night

Pleasant enough venue atmosphere, appetising food menu… bar service was atrocious. Booked for a meal and was drink checked at 10pm by bar staff with ridiculous demands including non-service to patrons due to a requirement of “15 mins” between drinks. Was also suddenly no longer allowed to buy rounds of drinks for our table, forcing the entire group to appear at the bar. What a joke. Left immediately. Never going back. Seriously look elsewhere for somewhere enjoyable to eat with the intention to stay around for a few drinks and a dance.

Sam was serving us all afternoon at the bar and she was absolutely amazing!! The best recommendations and service ever! So lovely and really really helpful 🫶🏼

Security guard didn’t let my friend in because he was “too drunk”. He must’ve had a god complex because my friend hadn’t had a drink yet. He let me and some other friends in even though we were clearly more drunk than my friend. Hope this security guard losses the god complex because he is a liability to the venue. Lost 15 customers that night and it is a shame because I really enjoy the venue.

Tasty and well priced food. Not a huge menu selection and some mains definitely need a side ordered with it if you want a proper meal. Nice cocktail and mocktail selection, ask the staff for recommendations if you need help selecting. Apparently they don't do jugs for lemon lime and bitters? A staple! Cozy and sophisticated atmosphere. Clean and spacious. They take bookings for larger numbers which is great. Music is way too loud. Staff are great and readily available.

Lovely place with indoor and outdoor seating. Two bars for the more open spaces and 1-2 bars at the dance floor. Greatly and cozily designed/decorated with a good selection of beers and friendly staff. Haven't tried any food, but I've been three times and would still like to go back.

They have a great mix of areas around the venue. A lounge area, dance floor with DJ and a few bars. They cater for all with a nice relaxed vibe and fire to warm people up on a cold night.

Went out here. Looked good. Picked up some of their cute cups off the floor and put them over the bar. I went to the bathroom and when I came out I was being escorted out for being rude to the bar staff!!! Was quite disappointed my first time out in a while as well.. won’t be going back and won’t be recommending this place to friends either

Always have a good time when I’m here! Venue is aesthetically pleasing, food is great and staff are so friendly and helpful. One of the managers (90% sure her name was Georgia but I could be wrong) was absolutely lovely - she helped us out a couple of times and I could not fault her service. Would highly recommend Henry Summer at any time during the week - does get quite busy on weekends but has such a chill vibe during the week.

Had a really relaxing late lunch at Henry Summer. Gorgeous with a chill garden vibe, hanging plants and modern chic decor. The food was amazing! The fish and chips fried to perfection, the grill chicken was tender and flavourful. The sharing board of ham+cheese+hummus are equally delicious with the bread basket that comes with it.

Beautiful venue, great ambience, the food was alright, the bar staff was efficient. Venue itself is the plus point, lovely greenery everywhere. Best for sunny days.

We were Served by Sam today for our work do. She was so friendly and service was beyond amazing. She made the whole afternoon brilliant & made it fun & easy to order our drinks. 5 stars to her 💛

A great place to hang out with friends, purchase a few cocktail jugs and share some food. Having bars inside and outside mean it's easy to order drinks or food, no matter where you are sitting.

Love the atmosphere of this place and the vibe upon entering when it's busy. Great for a party or event too! I don't understand why some of the seating areas get fenced off so early for reservations either. Like there was an entire area that was blocked off before 5 for a 7pm event. No need for that. -T

Amazing space that you wouldn't guess from the street entrance. It opens up to an indoor bar that is impressive on the eye. The tap cocktails are way too sweet and there is also a wide range of wines if this is more your thing. The kind of bar that you could easily lose an afternoon to.

Nice spot that attracts a young, vibrant crowd. There's lots of greenery, different places to sit, and a pastel pink wall and bathroom for all your instapics if that's your jam. Music gets a bit banging at night.

fantastic place in the city. Has a nice outdoor chill vibe and nicely decorated by many plants. Their cocktails are very good although it would be more worth it to order the jugs. food menu has quite a variety with the pork belly standing out. staff is nice and helpful. overall nice place to chill with your friends. Do recommend.

Fun atmosphere, outdoor garden with flashes of my last trip to Florida with a ply list that helps send my mind there. Cocktail list is limited & they do not dabble outside that comfort zone. Mostly 18-25yr old. Would be nice to see some Miami jazz to bring in the 25+ who are there to spend but I guess we would want a more extensive cocktail menu. Food is always delicious. Doggy friendly with no additive too jerky. Staff are lovely but not worldly. I continue to return as o live the garden atmosphere. Definitely worth a drink & tapas.

Cute decor, great to see lots of vegan options but the serving sizes were mindbogglingly small. $22 for one quarter of a small Roasted cauliflower is wild even for Perth. That makes it a $100 cauliflower, in this economy?!
